Belfast City Marathon live across BBC Northern Ireland
This year's event expects to see the biggest number of participants with more than 22,000 runners taking part – the largest number in its 43 year history.
The BBC coverage starts at 8.50am with presenter Nicola McCarthy meeting some of the runners at the start line at Stormont and later in the day at the finish line in Ormeau Park. Live coverage ends at 2pm.
Anne-Marie Wallace, David O'Reilly, Steven Rainey will be at various points of the course catching up with supporters, runners and volunteers while Mark Simpson is joined on commentary alongside former Commonwealth runner, Katie Kirk and John Glover from Athletics NI.
Across the five hours of live coverage there will also be stories featuring some of those taking part including the County Antrim Harriers who are one of the oldest running clubs in NI, Fivemiletown Primary School and many others who are running on the day to raise money for charities close to their hearts.
And for the first time, this year, friends, family, colleagues and supporters of those taking part will be able to upload messages of encouragement to be heard on air by searching online for BBC Radio Ulster Marathon Messages.

Mark Chapman's position at Sky Sports clarified after getting Match of the Day job
Mark Chapman is one of three new permanent hosts of Match of the Day, but like fellow host Kelly Cates, will continue to present live football on Sky Sports Mark Chapman will join Kelly Cates in presenting Premier League coverage on Sky Sports as well as Match of the Day this season. The new £6.7million four-year Sky Sports deal will see an increase from 128 to at least 215 live matches this season. And Chapman, 51, is included in the presenting team along with Cates and Dave Jones. Chapman will also present the first Match of the Day of the post-Gary Lineker era this Saturday night with Cates and Gabby Logan also working on the show. Chapman fronts the Carabao Cup coverage on Sky Sports and will now be on TV even more this season. Sky Sports director of football Gary Hughes said: 'We're delighted that Mark's joining us alongside Kelly and Dave. Clearly we have more games this season, we needed more presenters. "Kelly and Dave can't do all of them. I'm not going to go into all the details of how many games Mark will do, but Mark will work across the Carabao Cup and our Premier League coverage. "He will work weekends, yes he will, and we'll work with him and Kelly. We're delighted that Kelly is working on Match of the Day next season as well. We'll work with both of those to work through our schedule and we've got control of the calendar in terms of the picking of the matches. "We're all adults and we'll see how it goes. It's clearly new territory, but we're looking forward to having everybody on board.' Sky Sports chief sports officer Jonathan Licht added: 'Kelly's worked with us for a long time and Mark Chapman has done three seasons. Exceptional presenters think it's sort of better for everyone really. We will work with them and work through them with the BBC to make sure that that works.' Roy Keane has also renewed his contract as a Sky pundit. The Irishman was assaulted during a heated row with an Ipswich fan at Portman Road last November Hughes said: 'We had conversations with all our team over the summer. Roy's a great guy. He's a brilliant team mate. You want him in your team. He's had a few incidents in the last couple of seasons and it does affect him. 'Ultimately, when it comes to him, he wants to be involved in the biggest games. He loves working with us. He wants to be at Old Trafford for Manchester United against Arsenal. 'Clearly not going to go into the detail of any deal or any conversations over the summer, but we ended up with Roy again with us next season. There'll be more Roy next season, there'll be more Micah (Richards) and there'll be more Daniel (Sturridge). More games, more of all of those guys as well.' Licht added: 'It's our responsibility at Sky to make sure that we don't expose any of our team to those sorts of incidents. There were conversations that we had immediately, but I think he was back with us following the weekend. He loves being part of the big games.' Sky Sports also believe they will have no issues taking matches back to Nottingham Forest this season after Gary Neville was banned from the final Premier League game of the season for criticising owner Evangelos Marinakis.

It means Chapman and Cates will have to juggle their commitments to both broadcasters – Chapman is first up in the MOTD hot-seat this coming Saturday evening. But Sky's chief sports officer Jonathan Licht believes the cross-channel pollination will be a hit. 'We're delighted that Mark's joining us alongside Kelly and Dave,' Licht said as he launched Sky's coverage plans for the new season, which will see the broadcaster show a minimum of 215 live Premier League matches. 'Clearly we have more games this season, we needed more presenters. Former Rangers star's daughter to be on huge reality TV show
Demi de Boer, daughter of Ronald de Boer, has been confirmed as part of the cast for the upcoming series of Expeditie Robinson – the Dutch version of the global smash-hit series Survivor. The 29-year-old, who is an influencer with more than 140,000 followers on Instagram, is heading well out of her comfort zone later this month as the show kicks off on August 31, reports the Scottish Sun. Announcing the news, Demi shared a snap of herself on Monday, August 11. The caption reads: 'Ahhhh, the word is out! Expeditie Robinson from August 31.' Expeditie Robinson aired in the UK on ITV for two series between 2001 and 2002 before being revived by the BBC in 2003. The reboot, however, only lasted for one series before being axed. The Dutch version has been running for 25 years and is said to regularly pull in more than one million viewers per episode. Demi will be joined by a host of stars, including Olympic sprinter Churandy Martina, who represented the Netherlands at the games in 2008 and 2012. Her father, Ronald de Boer, was one of Rangers' biggest stars during a successful spell for the Ibrox club. De Boer joined from Barcelona in 2000 and went on to win all of Scottish football's domestic honours with the Light Blues. The Dutch attacker's finest campaign as a Gers star came in the 2002/03 season when Alex McLeish's side won the treble. De Boer scored 20 goals in all competitions – the most prolific of his career – to help his team win it all.
