Follow Latest Stock Market Updates Today LIVE What triggered the rally in Anupam Rasayan shares today? Anupam Rasayan shares surged today following a series of strategic developments that boosted investor sentiment. The company signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with two major European players—E-Lyte Innovations GmbH, a developer of electrolyte solutions, and FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH, a subsidiary of FUCHS SE known for advanced lubricant technologies. This marks Anupam Rasayan's entry into the fast-growing lithium-ion battery chemicals market. Anand Desai, managing director of Anupam Rasayan, said, 'This partnership with E-Lyte and FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY is a significant step forward in our planned journey of diversification and growth into the energy storage segment. This LOI is a crucial step towards establishing a long-term relationship and a strategic partnership with E-Lyte and FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY for supply of high-quality cost-effective electrolyte salts. Under the LOI, Anupam Rasayan will supply up to 1,500 tonnes per annum (TPA) of Lithium Hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6), a critical component in battery manufacturing, with commercial deliveries expected as early as FY26–27. The LOI sets the groundwork for negotiating a five-year supply contract. E-Lyte is a leading innovator in the battery sector, specialising in advanced liquid electrolytes for next-generation energy storage systems, particularly in e-mobility applications. Since 2022, FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH has supported E-Lyte as a minority shareholder and strategic partner, helping drive its expansion to meet rising global demand. ALSO READ | Desai added, 'Our process optimisation capabilities have played a pivotal role in ensuring the product's validation, offering significant advantages over its global commercial scenario. Additionally, our backward integration in fluorine chemistry through our subsidiary, Tanfac Industries Ltd, provides raw material supply chain security— a critical factor that contributed to signing this LOI. Anupam will be one of the first manufacturers of this molecule in India commercially, strengthening our foothold in the rapidly expanding battery ecosystem. Entering the battery chemicals market positions Anupam as a preferred partner for global innovators in advanced energy solutions. This is one of the many products Anupam is working on in the battery space that has been successfully agreed for supply to a customer, with several others in the pipeline.' In a separate development the company announced a long-term Master Purchase Agreement (MPA) with a Japan-based multinational conglomerate—a global leader in fluorochemicals and advanced technologies. This agreement solidifies Anupam's role as a key supplier in high-growth specialty chemical segments and expands its footprint in the Japanese market. About Anupam Rasayan Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. is among the leading Indian specialty chemicals companies, established in 1984, with a strong focus on custom synthesis and manufacturing. Polestar restarts market expansion with France

Swedish premium carmaker Polestar will start delivering its electric vehicles in France this year with the goal of making it one of its three main European markets, its top executive for the country told Reuters. Confronted with a cash crunch, tariff pressures, and a broad slowdown in EV demand, the company, majority-owned by China's Geely Holding, has decided to focus its efforts more on profitable Europe. Even there, though, its initial rapid expansion has stalled, with the last new market launches dating back to 2022. "We are a young company, given we have had a very steady rhythm of launches and market openings, it is good too, at some point to pause for a moment, before launching again a cycle of market openings", Stephane Le Guevel, managing director for Polestar France, said. "We have decided this year to concentrate on France and to restart the tempo next year. We have talked about Central Europe and LatAm", he said. While the Sweden-based automaker has attempted to conquer the U.S. and Chinese markets, its premium cars have been better received in Europe, which accounts for 75% of its sales. Le Guevel said that the automaker hoped France would, over the medium term, go on to become one of its top-selling markets in Europe, currently being Britain and Sweden. Polestar has tried to take on other premium brands, such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Tesla, which it targeted in national ad campaigns seeking to entice Tesla owners to switch to Polestar. But its expansion has been on hold since it launched in Spain, Portugal and Italy about three years ago. In France, Polestar will start taking orders for its 2, 3 and 4 models on Wednesday, at starting prices ranging from 46,800 euros ($53,474) to 79,800 euros ($91,180). The first French showroom will open in Le Mans in July and first deliveries are expected from October. The company plans to have a robust servicing network and dedicated selling points still relying on its former owner Volvo Cars, which continues to manufacture some Polestar models . The company's French launch has been delayed by a complaint filed by PSA - now part of Stellantis - arguing the Polestar logo looked too much like the DS brand logo. Both parties reached an agreement in 2022 without disclosing its financial details.

Intra-Squad Warm-up: Chance to track current form, bowling combinations

Beckenham (Kent), Jun 12 (PTI) The artist in Kuldeep Yadav would look to keep an accurate Ravindra Jadeja on toes when both the slow left-arm bowlers take the field during the senior Indian team's four-day intra-squad warm-up game against India A starting here on Friday. The match will be the senior team's only simulation game before the opening Test against England at the Headingly from June 20. The intra-sqaud game acts like a pre-cursor to the Test match. The Indian team under head coach Gautam Gambhir opted for a "closed door" session to prevent the opposition from getting any ideas on the tactical front, emulating a long-established practice among European football clubs. They had done the same during the tour of Australia earlier this year. As bowling coach Morne Morkel said on Wednesday, building the stamina to bowl and field 90 overs a day is very different from normal net sessions. The four-day game, which doesn't have the official first-class status, gives batters a second go if someone is dismissed cheaply. With 360 overs of match simulation available over four days, it will give the team management a chance to allow the bowling unit get enough overs under their belt. That would be handy in ensuring that the bowlers -- be it a spinner or a pacer -- have the requisite rhythm in actual match. Gambhir will have some work to do in terms of zeroing in on lone specialist spinner for Headingley. There is Ravindra Jadeja, whose superior batting becomes a huge factor in SENA countries but against England's 'Bazballers', Kuldeep Yadav's versatility could complement pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah better if India harbour any hopes of picking 20 wickets. Jadeja versus Kuldeep is the biggest playing eleven jigsaw puzzle that needs to be sorted by Gambhir and the coaching staff. Similarly, the intra-squad game will also give the coaches and skipper Shubman Gill a chance to see which of Akash Deep's fuller length or Prasidh Krishna's back of the length stuff works better in these conditions. Bumrah, who will be playing a red-ball game after six months, will also get a chance to bowl multiple spells and test his fitness having only played IPL since his comeback from a lower back stress injury.
