An unwise person said once, 'Thou shalt not wear white pants before Memorial Day or after Labor Day,' and the entire style community retorted, 'Yeah, okay.'
This fashion 'rule' actually originated in the 1800s when the wealthy would summer in coastal towns and return wearing white, so you knew they had just returned from holiday.
But now that Anna Wintour has renounced her Condé Nast throne, fashion rules are up in the air. Maybe we can all rethink the rule and wear them whenever we darn well please — especially today, because we found a pair of white jeans that look an awful lot like a pair of $200 designer jeans for $32.28 on sale and come in white, blue, or whatever color floats your boat. They also have the same feel as the Colette pants at Anthro.

Over 2,000 were purchased last month, and the reviews are extremely favorable. One five-star reviewer said, 'Jeans can be hit or miss for me sometimes when it is an off-brand, but man, I love these! They have just the right amount of stretch, and so comfy. The wide leg at the bottom is so cute and stylish.'
Made from stretchy, breathable denim, these jeans strike the sweet spot for comfort and style. The high waist flatters your figure, while the breezy wide leg and 26-inch inseam create a cropped, flared silhouette that's street-savvy and on-trend.
Stock up now and wear them through summer to fall. It's crisp, chic, and just begging for a sunny brunch or rooftop soirée. Not a Prime member? Sign up for free and enjoy a 30-day trial with fast shipping, exclusive sales, streaming perks, and more.

A zipper-and-button closure plus front patch pockets give them just the right amount of retro flair, making them versatile enough for everything from a polished workday look to a country concert in Nashville. True to US sizing, they range from X-Small (0–2) to XX-Large (20–22), so finding your fit is simple.

HBCU Pride & Tradition: The Orange Blossom Classic's Executive Director Kendra Bullock-Major Talks FAMU & Howard's Historic Showdown [Exclusive]

This Labor Day weekend, Miami will transform into more than a sun-soaked city and become the beating heart of a historic HBCU tradition; The Orange Blossom Classic. Source: Orange Blossom Classic Nearly a century old, the Classic stands as a testament to resilience, culture, and community, bringing Florida A&M University and Howard University back to the national stage for a rivalry steeped in legacy and Black excellence. Born in 1933, the Classic was a beacon during segregation, a rare stage where Black colleges could showcase athletic prowess and cultural pride. For decades, the event was revered as the Black National Championship, drawing thousands to celebrate sportsmanship and spirit. After a pause in 1978, the Classic slipped from view—until a passionate revival effort by Executive Director Kendra Bullock-Major resurrected it in 2021, breathing new life into this storied showdown. Source: Orange Blossom Classic 'The Orange Blossom Classic has a very, very rich history,' Bullock-Major told BOSSIP. 'It was an opportunity for historically Black colleges and universities to showcase their talent on the field because, of course, due to segregation, we were not able to attend or play other universities.' Its comeback, which happened in 2021, was perfectly timed amid a cultural renaissance, coinciding with social movements and the rise of new HBCU stars like Deion Sanders at Jackson State. Today, the classic serves as a weeklong celebration, filled with career fairs, symposiums on sports and entertainment, women's conferences, and vibrant community outreach that stretches far beyond the gridiron. Source: Howard University The significance of this moment holds a personal meaning for Bullock-Major, whose family heritage is deeply intertwined with HBCU culture. Growing up in North Carolina, she was surrounded by relatives who proudly attended historically Black colleges—her mother is a Shaw University alumna, her sister graduated from North Carolina Central, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins share the same bond. 'It was just a matter of, okay, which classic are we going to this week? Whose homecoming are we going to support this year?' Although she did not attend Florida A&M, Bullock-Major has maintained a strong connection to the university. 'My dad is a huge FAMU Marching 100 fan. My younger sister went to FAMU. I told my dad, 'I didn't go to FAMU, but I'm going to bring FAMU to you.'' Source: FAMU This deep-rooted family tradition helped fuel Bullock-Major's passion to bring the Orange Blossom Classic back to life. The 2025 Classic is particularly special as it revives the inaugural matchup between Florida A&M and Howard, two powerhouse HBCUs with rich academic and athletic legacies. Source: Orange Blossom Classic 'It's a rematch of the 2023 National Championship,' Bullock-Major explained to BOSSIP. 'Even if you take football out of it, both of them being the number one public and the number one private school HBCUs in the country—it's just really special.' She continued, 'This was well over 10 years in the making. I've always told my children, you finish what you start. This wasn't easy. But they were my motivation to keep going.' With that perseverance fueling the Classic's growth, the event now provides student-athletes with rare visibility on a national stage. Played in an NFL stadium and broadcast on ESPN, it's a platform few will experience, and one that opens doors beyond football. Admissions teams from visiting schools also seize the opportunity to recruit from a region they might not otherwise reach. Yet, the Classic's magic extends well beyond sport. This year, the event partners with Florida International University Athletics for One Big Community Weekend: Two Games. One Weekend. All Vibes. The collaboration launches on August 29, as FIU hosts Bethune-Cookman University, before Saturday's highlight: the Orange Blossom Classic showdown at Hard Rock Stadium. The weekend pulses with energy: from discounted tickets to a spirited OBC Tailgate Pep Rally featuring drumlines representing all four schools, to mascot crossovers and a welcome reception with actress Wendy Raquel Robinson as keynote speaker. FIU's F1RST NIGHT celebration even offers OBC internship and volunteer opportunities for students, deepening the event's educational reach. Three Florida-rooted head coaches — Willie Simmons of FIU, James Colzie III of FAMU, and Larry Scott of Howard — bring hometown pride and passion to the field, amplifying the weekend's sense of homegrown excellence. For Kendra Bullock-Major, the Classic is more than an event, it's a decade-long dream and a legacy she's determined to pass on. Source: Orange Blossom Classic 'I didn't really set out to be one of the few,' she says. 'I just wanted to bring this back so kids could experience the culture and excitement of HBCU football.' Her words echo a broader message of persistence, representation, and community, a call for future generations to carry the torch. As the Orange Blossom Classic continues to bloom, it remains a vibrant reminder of history and hope — a celebration where the past meets the present, and where Black excellence is on full display in Miami's spotlight. Featured pricing is subject to change. Chance The Rapper isn't leaving the possibility that audiences miss the release of his new album to chance this year. The three-time Grammy winner announced he's striking out on his 'And We Back Tour' in support of the forthcoming 'Star Line,' which is due out Friday, Aug. 15. While out and about, the 'Holy' Hip-Hop icon is slated to perform at theaters, music centers, rooftops, pavilions, auditoriums and resorts all over North America from late September through mid-October. That includes a stop at New York City's Rooftop at Pier 17 on Thursday, Oct. 2. 'How about a quick tour for my closest fans?' he shared on Instagram. Surprisingly, this run is the 32-year-old's first official nationwide trek since 2017's 'Be Encouraged Tour.' Over the past eight years, he's lent his talents to numerous festivals, taken off on mini-treks — like his cancelled 2019 'Big Tour' that concluded after just five shows — and headlined huge one-off gigs in his Chicago hometown but none of these outings have sent him all over the country. Prior to the release of 'Star Line,' his second studio album, Chance The Rapper (whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett) dropped the laid-back lead single 'Tree' on July 3 after debuting the track at Bridgeview, IL's Lyrical Lemonade Smash on June 22. He has since taken the bop to the stage at Chicago's Soldier Field and Lollapalooza. In regards to the record as a whole, Bennett said 'Star Line' features sounds that even 'if they're not super experimental [are] based in some of the Black music that was influential to me throughout my childhood or through my travels,' according to an interview with Rolling Stone. Want to be there? Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Chance The Rapper shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 'And We Back Tour' is Friday, Aug. 15. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Chance The Rapper set list Although his headlining sets will likely be longer, here's a look at what Chance The Rapper took to the stage (including a few surprise covers) for a Chicago Fire post-match concert at Soldier Field on July 26, according to Set List FM. 01.) 'No Problem' 02.) 'All Night' 03.) 'Blessings' 04.) '3333' 05.) 'Hot Shower' 06.) 'I Might Need Security' 07.) 'Cross Me' (Ed Sheeran cover) 08.) 'I'm the One' (DJ Khaled cover) 09.) 'Sunday Candy' (Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment cover) 10.) 'The Highs & The Lows' 11.) 'Tree' 12.) 'Same Drugs' Chance The Rapper new music As noted above, Chance The Rapper dropped his lead single 'Tree' on July 3. The 4.5-minute track starts slowly before a trademark Chance yelp gets the ball rolling. From there, the vocally-gifted rapper spits clever, incisive rhymes about ganja from his mom's perspective like 'she told me 'son, don't worry, don't you have no shame/There's gonna be frustration in this white man's game/And they're gonna have us tied up once it's legalized/Because it is a tree.' Later, he hands over the baton to Lil Wayne for an equally adventurous verse celebrating lighting up. In short, the upbeat single is somehow both a good time and cautionary tale. If you'd like to hear for yourself, you can find 'Tree' here.
