Ashley Cain and his ex Safiyya Vorajee put on a matching display in green outfits as they reunite at the National Influencer Awards in Liverpool four years after their daughter Azaylia's tragic death
Ashley Cain and his ex Safiyya Vorajee put on a matching display in green outfits as they reunited at the National Influencer Awards in Liverpool on Friday.
The former Ex On The Beach star, 34, first became a father with his ex-partner Safiyya when the couple welcomed daughter Azaylia who tragically passed away from leukaemia in April 2021 at the age of eight months.
The pair's relationship then broke down and Ashley has since become a father to two sons.
He welcomed his eldest son Aliyas with a new partner in January last year and also has a five-month old son Atlas too.
It is not known if the mother of his third child is the same woman who had his second. MailOnline contacted Ashley's representatives for comment at the time
However it appears Ashley and Safiyya have maintained some form of friendship as they were seen putting on a united front at the glitzy event four years on from Azaylia's death.
Ashley looked handsome as he turned up in a green blazer, white shirt, blue tie and grey trousers which he matched with a waistcoat.
He added an extra hint of glamour as he toted around his belongings in a Louis Vuitton bucket bag.
The influencer put on an extravagant display for his arrival as he turned up in his lavish bright purple sports car.
Meanwhile Safiyya looked incredible in a figure-hugging, sleeveless green dress which featured a unique boxed design.
Ashley is also father to Atlas, who is five months, but it is not known if the mother of his unborn third child is the same woman as his second son.
Safiyya has previously admitted she hasn't met Ashley's new children but added there was no bad blood between the pair and said they're still friends.
She said: 'That's one of those things - our friendship has just blossomed really healthily and it's no secret.
'If that comes in the future, I'm a very welcoming person, so if we all end up somewhere, I'm always going to be kind. '
And following the birth of Ashley's two sons, Aliyas and Atlas, Safiyya has been considering getting back out on to the dating scene but revealed she has been struggling to find anyone.
'I just can't seem to find anybody – I really can't,' she said.
'I've only just recently been open to dating, because I've really worked so hard on myself.
'I wanted to work through my grief and have therapy, and I didn't want to take an unhealed version of myself to somebody else.
'It's not a case of wanting to find someone, it's more a case of looking within myself and trying to work out who I am now, and what I want in life.'
Despite struggling to meet new people, the star dismissed the idea of using dating apps, explaining she liked a more 'old-school' approach and meeting people in person.
She said: 'I'm such an old-school girl, I just find this whole new generation so much more difficult, and I don't know how to get my head around it.
'For me it's about in-person connection, and the energy – I have to feel it, because I'm not in a rush either. I feel like it will come when it's going to come, and I feel like my daughter is guiding me in the right direction, and God is protecting me.
'I've had to really build myself from rock bottom, and that doesn't happen just overnight.
'Now I'm good, and I can accept if anybody wants to date me, and if I like them and enjoy them, then I'm open to that, whereas I wasn't a year ago.'
And as she is opening herself up to love again, she is also opening herself up to the idea of more children - explaining she no longer shuts down the possibility.
But the beauty went on to say that she is waiting to find the right person and doesn't want to rush in to anything.
'For me it always goes round in circles in my mind, because it's a really scary thing for me, but I always believe that if I'm with the right person, I don't shut it down now,' she said.
'I'm open to that as well. I'm open to rebuilding our family and a home, and if I don't find the right man then I won't be, but I am open to that in the future.'
And the star is taking things seriously, even exploring the option of freezing her eggs although she explained that a doctor told her it wasn't necessary.
She told MailOnline: 'I actually went to one of the people who freezes your eggs, and basically, he told me that it's not necessary for me to freeze my eggs right now.
'I don't know the ins and outs, and I need to get more information, but he told me that if he took the eggs out, and I then tried to get pregnant with my next partner, then it could be the fact that there's not enough fertile eggs in there where you could get pregnant at this age.
'After being told that, I thought there isn't any point then.'
But throughout it all she has received a lot of support from celebrities including Lauren Goodger who also tragically lost her daughter Lorena, who was born in July 2022 'with no pregnancy or labour complications' before her death at two days old.
Despite the support and the passing of time, Safiyya is still receiving professional help and still goes to therapy regularly although she has managed to cut down and is proud of her progress.
She revealed: 'Initially, I was having it three times a week, because it was so dark, I felt like I didn't want to be here anymore.
'I needed to constantly have therapy to help me get through those weeks, and then I broke it down to two sessions a week, and I'm on one a week now. I feel proud that I've been able to tailor that off.'
Ashley announced the birth of his third child earlier this year as he shared several snaps of the tot and said his heart was 'bursting with love and excitement'.
Announcing the birth of his third son, Ashley wrote: 'Atlas, you will always have the most beautiful, strong, and courageous guardian angel watching over you in your big sister, Azaylia'

Meghan Markle copies influencers with her cringeworthy 'Baby Mama' twerking video with Prince Harry while heavily pregnant - after trend that 'induces labour' goes viral
Meghan Markle copied a series of celebrities by performing a 'Baby Mama' dance with Prince Harry while waiting for their daughter Princess Lilibet's birth. The Duchess of Sussex last night posted an extraordinary video of her 'twerking' to the song by Starrkeisha while in the delivery room in California four years ago. The Baby Mama dance was a social media craze in 2018 with celebrities such as Ex on the Beach 's Chloe Goodman and her influencer sister Lauryn Goodman involved. Other notable figures to have tried the dance include High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale, Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell and Doctor Who's Karen Gillan. The playful lyrics encourage expectant mothers to 'drop it down, drop it down, down low', adding: 'When the song come on let me see you get gone / Baby mamas, this your song / Been pregnant for way too long / Now tell the DJ turn it on.' In Meghan's video, her hair is in a ponytail and she is wearing a sleeveless black summer dress which she pulls up as she shimmies towards the camera, using her hands to display her baby bump more prominently and then waving them in the air. Harry then sways in front of the camera, dancing with his hands and shaking his hips, as his wife pushes her bottom out, shaking it and then wiggling her own hips. Towards the end of the excruciating 81-second video Meghan beckons Harry, sporting a hoodie and jeans, toward her - before glancing to make sure the camera is recording, giving it a knowing glance and then pulling her dress up above her knees. The caption to her Instagram post said: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do.' Meghan seemingly has a cannula ready for a drip in her left hand, a hospital identity band on the other wrist, and is surrounded by medical equipment. Earlier, Meghan shared two previously unseen photos of Lilibet with Harry. One of the pictures showed the Duke of Sussex holding his daughter's hand as they walked along a sandy road barefoot in the sunshine, while he held his shoes and a cap. The other image was of Harry holding Lilibet as a baby while they looked at each other. Meghan wrote in a post accompanying the pictures: 'The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' The post was made at 7.40am California time (3.40pm UK), just under eight hours after Meghan earlier posted two other intimate family photos of her with Lilibet. In that post, the Duchess shared a black-and-white snap of herself cuddling Lili, who was sat on her lap, with the pair both sporting windswept hair, seemingly on a boat. The second image in the first post showed Meghan tenderly cradling newborn Lilibet as she enjoyed skin-to-skin time with the new addition to her family in 2021. Meghan wrote in the first post: 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. 'Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!' The Duchess usually only shares photos of her daughter pictured from behind to protect her privacy. But in the more recent photo, Lili's eyes and the top half of her face could be seen, with her nose and mouth and the rest of her face covered by Meghan's arms as she hugged the princess. Lili - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's youngest child - was born on June 4 2021 and was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. She only became entitled to be a princess when her grandfather the King acceded to the throne, because of rules set out by King George V in 1917. Harry and Meghan started using prince and princess for Archie and Lili after the princess's christening in 2023, following correspondence with Charles about the matter. On Tuesday, Meghan suggested that she might launch a future business with Lili as she chatted to Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles on her podcast. 'I wonder if one day I'll be in business with Lili and we'll be building something,' the duchess said, with Knowles adding: 'That's the best.' Last week, the Duchess shared a clip of her and her daughter beekeeping in matching protective suits, writing: 'Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she's even wearing my gloves).' Lilibet is named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Elizabeth had difficultly pronouncing her own name as a toddler and her grandfather George V would affectionately call her Lilibet, imitating her own attempts to say Elizabeth. The sweet nickname stuck and she became known as Lilibet to her family from then on. But the late Queen was reportedly 'as angry as I'd ever seen her ' after Harry and Meghan claimed they had her blessing to use the name for their daughter Lilibet, a royal aide said. Royal author Robert Hardman, in his biography of the King, told how a member of staff recounted Elizabeth II's fury following Harry and Meghan's announcement in 2021 over the use of her childhood family nickname. The BBC later reported a Palace source said the Queen was not asked by the Sussexes whether they could use Lilibet. But the Sussexes' lawyers fired off legal letters to the broadcaster and other publishers, saying the claim was false and defamatory. A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan insisted at the time that the duke spoke to his grandmother in advance and would not have used the name had the monarch not been supportive. Hardman wrote however: 'One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been 'as angry as I'd ever seen her' in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter 'Lilibet', the Queen's childhood nickname.'

EXCLUSIVE Chris Hughes cosies up to new girlfriend JoJo Siwa as she wins over his parents during a trip to The Cotswolds after the couple finally confirmed their romance
and JoJo Siwa have taken their romance to the next level, as he's introduced her to his parents after travelling to their home in The Cotswolds. The Love Island star, 32, and dancer, 22, finally confirmed earlier this week that they were an item following weeks of speculation, with JoJo admitting she's 'head over heels' for Chris. After travelling to visit Chris' family in the countryside, the couple were seen enjoying a romantic stroll together on Wednesday, their first sighting together since JoJo revealed they'd made their romance official. The pair, who met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, held hands as they enjoying a well-deserved break, after JoJo flew to the UK for two London shows, and to promote her new single Bulletproof. A source also told MailOnline that JoJo has already 'charmed' Chris' parents, adding: 'JoJo and Chris are absolutely loved-up. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The Love Island star and dancer finally confirmed earlier this week that they were an item following weeks of speculation, with JoJo admitting she's 'head over heels' for Chris 'Meeting the parents is a big step, but she charmed everyone. Looks like JoJo has traded in her bows for a bit of British countryside bliss!' Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week. A source also previously told that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo's parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the 10-year age gap. 'Her parents are all in for JoJo's happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,' the insider said. 'They fully support their daughter's decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren't surprised that she is acting this way with Chris. 'No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.' JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music. The insider added: 'She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.' In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents 'think the absolute world of Chris.' She said: 'Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday. 'They're literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I've never seen my mom so happy, and it's... it's... I could cry. 'Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as... it feels like we're a family, it feels like he's been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever. 'He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!' On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation. While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her 'favourite person in the world.' But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris have made their relationship official, and she's started calling him her boyfriend. Speaking in a video for the channel's new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she's had to explain her viral 'Dream guest on my podcast' moment to Chris. She then added: 'I'm sure it's no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.' In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris. She said: 'It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.' The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a 'PR stunt,' saying: 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.' On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat. The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris. Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: 'Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I'm very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now. 'One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don't know, I genuinely don't know, and I've spoken to him about it, I've spoken to my mom about it, I don't know the moment that it,' before snapping her fingers. She added: 'It was never like a light switch happened, it was just... you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don't know! It's serendipity!' Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so 'content and happy,' and described her first few days in the UK as 'the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place'. Chris had attended JoJo's first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn't attend Tuesday's performance. Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he'd given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep. She told the audience: 'This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I'd bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.' As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd's reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was 'one of the most hated people in the world,' she felt 'so special and so loved'.
