Ranbir Kapoor Looks Dapper, Waves At Paps As He Visits Bhansali's Office
Over the last few weeks, Ranbir Kapoor has repeatedly been snapped visiting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office in Mumbai. Looks like the duo, who will be reuniting for Love And War soon, are preparing to begin the film's shoot soon. Amid all this, Ranbir Kapoor was once again spotted outside the Bhansali office on Wednesday afternoon.
In a video that surfaced on social media, the Animal actor was seen getting out of his car as he entered Bhansali's office. The actor looked dapper in a white t-shirt, which he layered with a blue shirt and matching jeans. He was all smiles as he waved for the paparazzi and paused to pose for the cameras. It should be noted that the shooting of Love and War is likely to begin soon in Mumbai. Reports suggest Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will have an intense face-off in the film. However, the makers have not made any official statement regarding the film's development or plot as of now.
What Did Ranbir Singh Say About Reuniting With Bhansali?
Earlier this year, Ranbir talked about the project during a meet and greet event in Mumbai when he said, 'Love and War is something which is every actor's dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I worked with him 17 years ago. To work with him again, I can say this with so much of clarity that I haven't met a human being who works so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, Indian value system, as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Just to be on his set, it is tiring. It is long. The process can be a little daunting but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying. He really nurtures art. As actors, it's truly been amazing so far."
What Does Alia Bhatt Think About Her On-Screen Reunion With Ranbir Kapoor?
Last year, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Alia Bhatt also talked about the film and her reunion with Ranbir when she said, 'I, as an audience, am more excited to see him [Bhansali] and Ranbir collaborate, again, after so many years. I am like, 'wow, what's that going to be like?" Talking about reuniting with Vicky Kaushal, Alia continued by saying, 'Vicky and I coming together again; Ranbir and Vicky created magic with Sanju. So, it is a lot of combinations."
Love and War is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026.

Akshay Oberoi Says Karan Johar Had Cast Him In Takht: 'It Crushed My Soul When...'
Last Updated: Akshay Oberoi says he got to know that Takht has been put on the backburner through a story in a newspaper as he feels he wasn't 'privileged to get that information first-hand'. In August 2019, Karan Johar announced Takht, a magnum opus period drama, based in the Mughal era that would chronicle the enmity between Aurangzeb and Dara Shukoh for the succession of the throne. The star-studded ensemble comprised Ranveer Singh (Dara Shukoh), Vicky Kaushal (Aurangzeb), Anil Kapoor (Shah Jahan), Kareena Kapoor Khan (Jahanara Begum), Alia Bhatt (Dilras Banu Begum), Janhvi Kapoor (Nadira Banu Begum) and Bhumi Pednekar (Roshanara Begum). A year later, in 2020, reports started doing the rounds that Akshay Oberoi has been roped in to play Jahanara Begum's husband in the film. But Akshay refused to comment on the speculations. These reports were later refuted with another report stating that he was not cast in that role. Eventually, the film, which was initially slated to begin production in March 2020 with a Christmas 2021 release date, was shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Akshay finally opens up on Takht and reveals that he indeed was offered a part in the film. But it was that of Aurangzeb and Dara Shukoh's brother. 'Karan had cast me in Takht. That would be the first film that I would've done with them. Shanoo Sharma had tested me for the part of the third brother after Ranveer and Vicky. Murad Baksh was the name of the character," he tells us. Recalling his conversation with Karan, he shares, 'I met Karan. He was so fascinating and open. He told me that he didn't even see my audition but that he had watched my previous works and wanted to collaborate with me. It was very sweet of him. We did the look test. But then Covid happened and the film shut down." And when that happened, it was 'soul-crushing' for Akshay. 'It was so heart breaking. It was a huge film. I still have a picture of me in that costume. I sometimes look at it and tell myself, 'I look the part!' When I got news that the film wasn't happening anymore, it crushed my soul. Covid mein already dhanda bandh tha. I remember sitting in my living room and looking at the newspaper that carried the news that the film is being shelved. That's when I read about it for the first time because I wasn't privileged to get that information first-hand," he says. But things began looking up when Fighter came his way, a film he believes is a 'replacement for Takht'. 'The industry was shut and there was this sense of uncertainty. But I thought that once things are over, we'll start the shoot. And when Fighter came my way, my management team at Exceed had told me that mere kundli mein yeh hai ki ek badi film aayegi. I believed them. I accepted it that Takht didn't happen. And soon after Covid was over, I was offered Fighter. The phrase 'der aaye durust aaye' applies a lot to my life," says Akshay. Pawan Kalyan Opens Up On Bond With Chiranjeevi, Says ‘We Hardly Speak About Films'
Pawan Kalyan says that being Chiranjeevi's younger brother hasn't fetched him any advantages. He further attributes Ram Charan and allu Arjun's success to their own merit. That the Telugu film industry is dominated by big film families is no secret. They're replete with actors and producers, who have simultaneously forayed into film distribution, exhibition and politics. And one of the most popular brother duos is Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. While the former continues to make movies, the latter is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Last month, Kalyan had a release with Hari Hara Veera Mallu after two years, the trailer of which won praises from his family. Taking to X, Chiranjeevi wrote, how 'absolutely delighted (sic)' he was to see his younger brother 'setting movie screens on fire after almost 2 years'. Kalyan's nephew Ram Charan also couldn't stop gushing. 'Watching Pawan Kalyan Garu on the big screen will be a treat for all of us (sic)," he wrote. But interestingly, dinner table conversations hardly comprise of work. Speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Kalyan says, 'We don't talk about acting and films. From an outsider's perspective, I understand that it may look interesting that there are lots of actors in the same family, but it's true that we hardly speak about cinema. When my brother and I sit down, we talk about our mother, our parents and reminisce about our childhood. Let me put it this way that in an hour-long conversation, we discuss cinema for only two-three minutes. We don't even discuss each other's recent works." But what's his thoughts on Charan and Allu Arjun? 'They're good. They're doing an excellent job. I feel very good about the success that they've achieved. They're capable of reaching great heights. They've earned their success solely on their own merit," shares Kalyan. For the unversed, Arjun is son of Allu Arvind, brother-in-law of Kalyan's elder brother, Chiranjeevi. And even with them, conversations surrounding work are far and few. However, the Gabbar Singh and Attarintiki Daredi actor, popularly known as Power Star, believes that being related to Chiranjeevi hasn't won him perks. 'Even though my brother is Chiranjeevi and it's a fact that I come from a good background, I've seen financial difficulties throughout my career for most of my films. But I've always stood my own ground," he says. In fact, he even refused to take help from Chiranjeevi even when his films were engulfed in financial troubles. 'To release a film, I've had to run from pillar to post, not knowing what to do. I thought things will get better over time but the size of the load kept increasing and the situation never changed. Budgets kept increasing and the financial load of making a film has always hit me. I had to forgo my remuneration. I had to send my signatures to financiers for a film to get released. These things kept happening. I don't know how the other actors deal with it but in my case, such issues are recurring," Kalyan remarks. After 18 years of togetherness and two children, they decided to part ways in 2022.
