Sisters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid revealed they have a half-sister named Aydan Nix, the siblings said in a statement to the Daily Mail.
Newsweek reached out to Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid's representatives via email for comment.
The Context
Supermodels Gigi Hadid, 30, Bella Hadid, 28, and their brother, Anwar Hadid, 25, were born to real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, 76, and his ex-wife, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, 61. Mohamed Hadid also shares daughters Marielle Hadid, 44, and Alana Hadid, 39, with his first wife, Mary Butler.
What To Know
Nix, 23, is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Dull. According to Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, the pair had a "brief romance" following his divorce from Yolanda Hadid.
The siblings' statement to the Daily Mail read: "Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy. Aydan was born and raised in Florida, growing up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19. After his passing, she decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity, and that's how she discovered a biological connection to us."
The statement continued: "We first connected in late 2023, and from that moment on, we've embraced Aydan with open arms. She's spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we've cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family. As siblings, we've had many open and loving conversations—with Aydan included—about how to support and protect her.
"Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York," the sisters concluded.

Who Is Aydan Nix?
Earlier this month, Nix graduated from Manhattan's Parsons School of Design.
"WTF.......... post grad ........," she wrote via her public Instagram on May 21. At the time of publication, Nix—who goes by the name @toospoiled on the social media platform—has 7,187 followers, including Gigi Hadid, and that number is quickly rising.
Just days prior, on May 18, Nix shared a separate Instagram post that Gigi Hadid liked. "It's my last night in my apartment I've been in for the last 3 years," she captioned a slew of photos. "I've thrown so many parties in this lil studio and so many sleepovers and so many laughs n smiles I know it's just a place ok but I'm emotional about it."
In 2023, the recent graduate penned sweet messages to her mother on Instagram. On Dull's 50th birthday, she shared a lengthy note. Part of it read: "my mama is turning the big 50 today and she's the most beautiful person I've ever known and ever will know. she is generous and good hearted even when no one is looking. she taught me to be empathetic and loving and soft. she's one of the funniest people I know. sometimes I call her 4 times a day. she always answers the phone. she's so smart. she could do whatever she wanted but spends all day everyday helping people. she's resilient and strong. she's my rolemodel and my best friend."
She added: "there are few people in the world who get me like she does. she held me up when I couldn't myself and helped me become a person I could be proud of being. she's never made me feel anything less than loved. i love my mama more than words or an instagram post or a bouquet of flowers or a hug can ever express."
For Mother's Day that same year, Nix posted a picture of her sleeping on her mom on the beach as a baby.
"Happy Mother's Day to my favorite person in the whole world 💋💋 I love my mama," she wrote on Instagram.

Loose Women cuts live studio audience amid ITV budget cuts
Loose Women is poised to experience an overhaul as one of the show's key parts is 'axed' amid 'brutal' budget cuts across ITV. The show, which features a rotating panel of presenters, has been running since 1999, and has traditionally been filmed in front of a live studio audience – but reports suggest that this has now been cut. The in-person attendees are considered a vital part of the show, providing applause, laughter, feedback, and exchanges with presenters throughout the live programme. It comes after the show's output was cut to only 30 weeks a year, just as Lorraine also saw its time slot slashed in half. 'The panelists are really upset over the decision to axe the live studio audience from the show,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'It's what sets the series apart from the rest of ITV daytime and now there are massive fears that viewers will switch off completely.' They continued: 'The only concern now is to cut costs and having a live studio audience can be expensive, with the added need for security and a warmup artist. 'Presenters already know how it feels to broadcast the show without an audience because that's what happened during the pandemic, and they all know it creates low mood and lack of atmosphere.' ITV declined to comment when approached by The Independent. However, a source said: "While there is a proposal to not have a studio audience for Loose Women from 2026, that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll never have a studio audience again, it just won't be in the same way as it is now. At this stage we are still exploring new ways of working and producing the show when we move to a new studio next year." Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha expressed fear for her job earlier this week as she shared her concerns on social media. Sawalha, who has been a panellist since 1999, addressed the news of cuts on her YouTube channel. 'What people don't realise at Loose Women is that we're self-employed. I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. I could be let go tomorrow. I could be let go in five years. You don't know because we're not employees.' Getting emotional, the former EastEnders actor, 60, continued: 'What's been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people… are going to be made redundant out of the blue. These are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way. 'A lot of my friends and colleagues on this show and have worked for ITV have been there for decades… and I can't tell you how upsetting it was to see people walking around numb with shock and fear about what they are going to do.' She added that 'television is coming very slowly to its natural end'.

What's next for influencer Livvy Dunne after college gymnastics career? 'Everything,' she says
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- With her college gymnastics days behind her, influencer and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Livvy Dunne is moving on with life — but that doesn't mean she'll be far from the public eye. Dunne, who has more than 13 million followers on social media, created a multimillion-dollar personal brand while competing as a gymnast at LSU. Now she's trying to help other female athletes do the same, helping to educate them about name, image and likeness deals and personal branding. 'I'm going to miss gymnastics so much because it has been a part of me for almost 20 years,' Dunne told The Associated Press at AthleteCon, where she had a speaking engagement. 'What's next? Everything. I want to do all of the things that I couldn't do while I was a gymnast' because of the time constraints of being a student-athlete. 'So there are some really cool opportunities — stay tuned,' she added. Dunne didn't disclose any details, but it's clear she plans to maintain her personal brand, which she developed along with the help of older sister and manager Julz Dunne. AthleteCon CEO Sam Green, who has helped land more than 1,000 NIL deals, invited the Dunne sisters to speak to college athletes as part of a two-day seminar. Athletes met with representatives from social media platforms including TikTok, Snapchat and Meta, created live content and competed for NIL deals. They learned how to turn a creative idea into a brand. More than 100 athletes attended, with another 150 turned away because of space constraints. Green's company slogan is 'all athletes are creators.' 'I'm really big on giving athletes the tools to monetize their brand,' Green said. Few, if any, have done that better than Livvy Dunne. She helped the Tigers to the 2024 national championship as a junior before missing this past season because of an injury. But she was better known on social media, where she amassed more than 8 million followers on TikTok and 5.3 million on Instagram before leaving LSU. Advertisers took notice. She was the highest-paid female college athlete across all sports during her time with the Tigers, earning more than $4.1 million, according to On3. She worked with brands like Nautica, Crocs and Sports Illustrated, where she recently did a split on the catwalk on a 'triple dare.' Her boyfriend is Pittsburgh Pirates star pitcher Paul Skenes, who played baseball at LSU. 'She's it,' Green said. 'She's the road map. She's the blueprint and she was the first to do it. The Dunnes are so innovative and they have done it with genuine intent. Livvy is the definition of NIL, in my opinion, at least true NIL and what it was meant to be from the start.' Dunne said navigating the ever-changing world of NIL was like living in the wild West. 'I learned that you don't have to do one thing and be great at that one thing,' Dunne said. 'You can do multiple different things and find success in tons of different areas.' But there were trying times as she balanced classes, competition and the constant demand for multiple daily social media posts. She remembers walking into LSU gymnastics coach Jay Clark's office in tears because of stress about her schedule. She fought through it and is glad she did. 'I hope people here take away that you are more than your sport and everybody deserves to capitalize on their name, image and likeness,' Dunne said. 'Curiosity is key. Ask questions, network, and just create because, who knows, the sky is the limit. It got me to where I am today. Don't just consume, but create. 'Keep posting,' she added. 'The audience is there. People are interested. They want to see what you have to offer. Everyone's story is different and has to be told.'
