Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland is an actress known for playing Haley Dunphy on "Modern Family." She also has held many movie roles and additional television roles, one of her most recent being the 'Pitch Perfect' spinoff 'Bumper in Berlin' in 2022. Hyland also served as the host of the 2022 season of 'Love Island USA' and is married to Bachelor Nation favorite Wells Adams.
Hyland was born on November 24, 1990 in Manhattan, New York to parents Melissa Canaday and Edward James Hyland. Hyland's first movie role came in 1997 when she played Howard Stern's daughter in 'Private Parts.' Shortly after that, she was in 'The Object of My Affection' followed by appearances in television shows including 'Trinity,' ' Another World' and 'The Wonderful World of Disney.'
Other television shows Hyland has appeared in over the years are 'All My Children,' 'Touched by an Angel,' 'Law & Order,' 'Law & Order: Trial by Jury,' 'One Life to Live,' 'Lipstick Jungle,' 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,' 'Bonnie & Clyde,' 'Hot in Cleveland,' 'Shadowhunters' and 'Veronica Mars.'
The role Hyland is most known for is playing Haley Dunphy in the popular television series, 'Modern Family' from 2009 through 2020. Since the ending of 'Modern Family,' Hyland has been in the television show "Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin" and the movie 'My Fake Boyfriend.'

In August 2022, Hyland married Adams, who has been part of the 'Bachelor' franchise since he was on 'The Bachelorette' in 2016 and 'Bachelor in Paradise' during the show's third season. After being a contestant on the show, Adams stayed with the franchise as the beloved bartender for 'Bachelor in Paradise.'

Advertisement New York has now lost to Indiana in the playoffs, for the second consecutive season. The Knicks lost a late lead in Game 1 against the Pacers, in this year's Eastern Conference Finals. Towns had a solid run in the postseason. While he struggled at times, he still finished scoring in double-figures in all of the six Indiana games. He never scored less than 20 points in the series. Knicks fans hope that the club can build a championship roster around Towns and guard Jalen Brunson. 'You watch Jalen from afar in the West, and then you see what he's done for the city,' Towns said, per ESPN. 'It's even more crazy in person. I don't say it lightly: It's a blessing and an honor that I get to play with Jalen Brunson.' Towns finished his first campaign in New York averaging 24.4 points per game, as well as 12.8 rebounds.

Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders reject CEO David Zaslav's pay package
Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders voted on Tuesday to reject the pay packages for several of the company's executives, including CEO David Zaslav's compensation package of more than $50 million. Nearly 60% of the symbolic vote was against the 2024 executive payouts at Warner Bros. Discovery's annual meeting, according to a regulatory filing. The vote is non-binding. Last year, shareholders narrowly approved executive pay, with 53% voting in favor. Warner Bros. Discovery is the parent company of CNN. Zaslav, who has been CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery since 2022, when the company was created by the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc., was paid a total of $51.9 million last year, including equity awards and other compensation. Warner Bros. Discovery's stock (WBD) declined 7% in 2024, while media competitor Netflix (NFLX) saw its stock gain more than 80% in 2024 and Disney's stock (DIS) rose 24%. Netflix's co-CEOs, Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters, were paid $61.9 million and $60.3 million last year, respectively, while Disney's Bob Iger was paid $41.1 million. The broader S&P 500 gained over 23% last year. Warner Bros. Discovery did not respond to a request for comment.
