Shop Anne Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada 2 T-bar necklace for £80 instead of £9k
The Devil Wears Prada remains one of the most iconic films of the 2000s, and now, almost 20 years after it first released in 2006, the filming for the sequel is well underway. Anne Hathaway has been spotted filming multiple scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2, and her character Andy Sachs seems to have retained some of her stylish wardrobe from her days at Runway in the first film.
Although we've already spotted her in everything from a tailored trouser suit to a patchwork Gabriele Hearst maxi dress, there's one item that's been a constant in all of her looks so far – a T-bar necklace. The simple piece of jewellery is a bespoke design from Jemma Wynne, and comes with a hefty price tag of around $9,000 thanks to its 18kt gold and diamond design.
However, fans of the elegant necklace are in luck, because we tracked down a gorgeous (and much more affordable) alternative, and as a bonus, you can get it made with a bespoke design of your own. The Custom Stamped T-Bar Necklace from Abbott Lyon is priced at £79, and gives you full creative control on how you want the necklace to be finished.
You can select what type of chain you want, from a dainty fine one to a chunkier style, not to mention have a name engraved across the middle with up to nine characters to play with. You can also add a glittering birthstone to each end – they don't have to be the same, you can have two different ones – to make it extra personal.
The necklace is made from stainless steel with 18kt gold plating, and has an anti-tarnish protective coating to stop it from discolouring. It's also water, sweat and heat-resistant, so you can wear it all year round for any occasion.
If you want an even more affordable pick, Boden's T-bar Chain Necklace is only £35, although it's recommended you remove it when applying things like perfume or beauty products, or when going in water. We also love Tilly Sveaas' Small Gold T-Bar On Belcher Chain, which is slightly pricier at £125-£140 depending on which chain length you pick, and is a favourite of Taylor Swift, who wears hers often.
So far every outfit where Anne has worn her T-bar necklace has seen her pairing it with a pearl necklace in a similar length. If you want to combine the two, Abbott Lyon also has the T-bar Pearl Necklace for £59, which has less of a drop on the T-bar pendant, but swaps the traditional chain for freshwater pearls.

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway filming Devil Wears Prada sequel minutes from NYC shooting
Hollywood stars Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Stanley Tucci were filming scenes for the Devil wears Prada sequel just a couple of blocks away and three hours before the mass shooting in New York City Hollywood icons Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway had been filming the sequel to the Devil Wears Prada just three hours before the New York City mass shooting which claimed the lives of four innocent people. Streep and Hathaway were just a mere 15-minute walk away from where the tragedies took place. A man with a rifle killed an off-duty police officer and three other people before taking his own life on Monday. The gunman - named in a press conference as Shane Tamura - struck at an office block in Manhattan, New York City, home to large companies such as banks and the National Football League. Law enforcement officials are currently working to unravel what took place and why this location may have been targeted in the Big Apple. The horrific shooting took place just a couple of blocks away from where Streep and Hathaway have been filming the sequel to the 2006 hit blockbuster. The Hollywood duo, along with fellow acting legend Stanley Tucci, filmed scenes at 1221 Avenue of the Americas which is only a short 15-minute walk from the scene of the tragedy. The three stars were filming scenes just three hours before the shooting took place. The city had recently announced it was on pace to have its fewest people hurt by gunfire than any year in recent decades. However, it is now mourning those killed, including "hero brother" police officer Didarul Islam. Colleagues paid tribute to the 36-year-old man, whose wife is pregnant with their third child, at a press conference last night. Tamura exited a double parked BMW with an M4 rifle and then walked toward the building on Monday evening, according to surveillance video. He quickly opened fire on the NYPD officer as he entered the building before shooting a woman who tried to take cover, police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a news conference on Monday night. He then started "spraying" the lobby with gunfire. The man went to the elevator bank and shot a security guard who was taking cover behind a security desk and also another man in the lobby, Ms Tisch said. The man took the lift to the 33rd floor to a real estate management company and one person was shot and killed on that floor. He then walked down a hallway and shot himself, she said. The shooting took place at 345 Park Avenue, a commercial office building in a busy area of midtown that is just a short walk north from Grand Central Terminal and about a block east of St. Patrick's Cathedral. The building's tenants include the NFL and Rudin Management, as well as finance companies KPMG and Blackstone. It also includes the consulate general of Ireland.

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway filmed the Devil Wears Prada sequel in New York City on Monday, just blocks away and hours before a mass shooting at a neighboring Midtown Manhattan office building. The duo, along with co-star Stanley Tucci, filmed scenes at 1221 Avenue of the Americas, an approximately 15 minute walk from the scene of the tragedy, and at least three hours before the shooting occurred. Four people - including an officer - were killed after a gunman opened fire inside the skyscraper at 345 Park Avenue at around 6.30pm on Monday. The gunman was identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas, according to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. Tamura had a silencer on his rifle when he opened fire inside the lobby at around 6.30pm, with about 30 people inside, according to CNN. The firearm also had a scope and strap. The gunman was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the 33rd floor of the building, where Blackstone has its headquarters. In an update on X, Commissioner Tisch said the 'lone shooter has been neutralized' and the scene is 'contained.'
