Israel to send humanitarian aid to South Sudan

It is worth mentioning that South Sudan is one of the poorest countries worldwide and is facing violent political chaos, AFP reported.
"In light of the severe humanitarian crisis in South Sudan, (Israel) will deliver urgent humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations in the country," a statement from the office of Foreign Minister Gideon Saar read.
"South Sudan is currently struggling with a cholera outbreak and facing a severe shortage of resources," it added.
"The aid will include essential medical supplies for treating patients, water purification equipment, gloves and face masks, as well as special hygiene kits to prevent cholera", in addition to food packages, the statement maintained.

JAF says aid convoy dispatched to Jordanian field hospitals in Gaza
AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) said a relief aid convoy was sent to Gaza to support the two Jordanian field hospitals operating in the besieged Strip. This initiative reflects the JAF's long-standing humanitarian commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening the healthcare sector in Gaza. It aligns with the military's broader mission of providing aid and relief wherever needed, it said. Jordan runs two military field hospitals in Gaza, one in the Strip's north and was established in 2009 following the war in 2008, and the second is in Khan Younis in the south, which was established in November 2023 at the peak of the Israeli war of aggression on the coastal enclave that erupted on October 7, 2023.

More famine-related deaths reported in Gaza in past 24 hours
