Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Noina's Entry Leaves Tulsi Uneasy
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is keeping viewers hooked to the show, thanks to its gripping twists, emotional confrontations and unexpected reunions. The August 11 episode was no different, packed with tense confrontations and of course, a dose of nostalgia. It kicked off with a heated exchange between Pari and Nandini.
Pari was upset that Nandini had advised Tulsi to stop her wedding with Ajay, insisting that her father, Mihir, would never make such a decision without giving it careful thought. She reminded Nandini of how Tulsi had once nearly cancelled the wedding because of Munni and now Nandini is repeating the same thing.
As Pari clarified that she wants to tie the knots with Ajay, Nandini accuses her of marrying only as a rebound and out of revenge after Ranvijay's betrayal. Pari, however, stood firm on her decision.
Vrinda's Concern For Brother
Meanwhile, Vrinda was worried about her brother Nitin, trying to convince him to come clean about accepting a bribe from Viren. But Nitin did not listen, telling her to stay away from the matter. Determined to protect him, she decided to take things into her own hands and went straight to the police station to file a complaint against Viren.
Noina's Striking Entry
On the other hand, at Shantiniketan, it was time for Pari and Ajay's sangeet. The drama arrived in style as Noina (Barkha Bisht) made a head-turning entry, accidentally damaging the Tulsi plant. She then warmly introduced herself to Tulsi before heading to meet Ajay's family, who have known her for years. And then came the biggest surprise, which was her reunion with her old college friend Mihir after three decades. Their unexpected meeting was followed by a heartfelt hug, making everyone curious about their history.
In a shocking turn of events, the danger around Vrinda escalated. The police officer she had filed a complaint with secretly informed Viren about the same, even sending him her picture. As she left the station, she realised that she was being chased by goons.
The episode also revealed more about Noina's life as she admitted to having been widowed years ago and had since immersed herself totally in her career, leaving Tulsi inspired by her resilience. Later, Mihir introduces Noina to her kids and the exchange between them makes her uneasy. Adding to the intrigue, Noina also shared that she shares a past in Mihir's life that he had never shared with anyone.

During a recent interaction, Kirron shared how she would bluntly tell her husband, veteran actor Anupam Kher, if she didn't like any of his films. She also spoke about the advice she gives her son, Sikandar, on not being as selective with his projects as she has been in her career. Speaking to CNN-News18, she said, 'I am not one of those people who appreciates family members just like that. I am rather blunt about that. My husband feels bad about it. He has done so many films. Some of them are good, some aren't, so I can't appreciate every film of his. I'm a dangerous woman to take to film trials because it is obvious when I don't like a film. It shows on my face.' Kirron then went on to admit that she didn't like Sikandar's performance in Tigmanshu Dhulia's film Milan Talkies. Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher got married on August 26, 1985. Mohit Suri Called Uncle Mahesh Bhatt For Advice On Saiyaara: 'He Said Swear Words'
Mahesh Bhatt told Saiyaara director Mohit Suri to trust his instincts. Mohit Suri's latest film, Saiyaara, has become a sensation ever since its release last month. The film starred newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who have also become massive stars due to the film's success. As Saiyaara continues its box office run, Mohit Suri joined CNN-News18 for a Town Hall where he discussed love, loss and of course, Saiyaara. During his session, he recalled how he called his uncle, Mahesh Bhatt, for advice when he was confused about a certain scene in the film. Mohit's mother, Heena, is Mahesh Bhatt's sister, making him the filmmaker's nephew. Mohit has often worked under Mahesh's guidance, and when he was faced with doubt during the shoot of Saiyaara, he reached out to his uncle and mentor. Referring to the scene in Saiyaara where Ahaan Panday's father gets violent with him, Mohit Suri said, while he was staging the scene with the actors, he felt it had become too dramatic. Mohit Suri said, 'At 7 in the morning the next day, I was going to shoot the scene. I sent a missed call to Bhatt saab. He was up at 4 in the morning, and he called me up. I said, 'I am feeling a little unsure, they're very nice people. I think I'm being a little too dramatic.' He has no idea about my script." 'All I've told him is the scene where the son gets violent with his father, he's an alcoholic. Bhatt saab just cut me off. He said a couple of swear words to me; that's him. I didn't realise that my profile picture was of my son's hand in my hand. He just said that the way you're holding your son's hand in a close-up, the kind of emotion you feel towards your son, no matter how, go shoot this scene, it's never going to have a wrong emotional connect," Mohit recalled. Mohit Suri said that Mahesh Bhatt mentioned, 'The son-father bond is too pure for you. How can the same person who has a DP like this even ask me this question? Go shoot it the way you want." Mohit Suri listened paid heed to this advice and it turned out to be one of the scenes that Aditya Chopra loved most. Meanwhile, Saiyaara has struck an emotional chord with audiences across the globe. The film's Indian box office collection has crossed Rs 300 crore, while the global total now stands above Rs 500 crore. Alongside Ahaan and Aneet, the ensemble cast includes Alam Khan, Sid Makkar, Shaan Groverr, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola.
