Travis Hunter gives brutal verdict on controversial fiancée's $30,000 NFL Draft gift
Travis Hunter recently received a lavish NFL Draft gift from his fiancée, but the new Jaguars rookie had a surprising opinion on the piece of jewelry.
Hunter's Fiancee, Leanna Lenee, got the wide receiver/cornerback a Rolex Day-Date before he heard his named called by the Jaguars, but a new video shows how taken aback he was by the price of the item.
After looking up the price - and learning that it cost $30,000 - Hunter offered a rather brutal response to his friends.
'S*** I coulda bought a new boat... just give me the money,' he said in a video posted by Hellion 'Boog' Knight, the head of operations for Young Money APAA (the agency Hunter is signed to).
While one of the former Colorado star's friends could be heard calling the watch an 'investment,' Hunter then shifted his focus to the watch on his wrist, which was also apparently a gift.
'This is worth 70 [thousand]?.Yeah, ya'll tripping,' he said.

'See me, don't expect these types of gifts from me. That ain't happening, my boy. These types of gifts ain't happening, not from me.'
Hunter's gifts came as he was selected No. 2 overall in the NFL Draft by the Jaguars, with Lenee and his mother, Ferrante, there to support him.
While Hunter had a tremendous season for Colorado and won the Heisman Trophy, things were rockier off the field as his relationship with Lenee was frequently scrutinized.
The public constantly questioned her motives for dating the star, who she's been with for five years.
Fans picked apart a seemingly a tense moment after a game against Oklahoma State, and she was also criticized she made comments she made as Hunter was taking photos with female fans during a pre-Heisman photo shoot.
During the ceremony itself, she would find herself in hot water again when she initially remained sitting after Hunter was announced as the winner of the award.
On a Twitch stream after the ceremony, Hunter revealed that Lenee had cried herself to sleep as she continued to be pelted with criticism.
Both deleted their Instagram accounts in December, though Hunter's is now back up.
Hunter told people to stop targeting her, specifically calling out 'clickbait' pages, social media accounts, and websites.
'Clickbait pages stop, y'all better stop I'm telling y'all. Something bad is gonna happen to y'all [if you] keep doing that. Y'all better stop that. I ain't playing,' he said.

Glen Powell's ex blames Sydney Sweeney cheating rumours for their split saying ‘I hope they're in love'
GLEN Powell's ex Gigi Paris has broken her silence on their split more than two years after their relationship ended. Actor Glen, 36, and model Gigi, 32, broke up after three years together in 2023 amid rumors of a romance between him and his Anyone But You co-star Sydney Sweeney. 3 3 3 Speaking to Emma Klipstein on the Too Much podcast, Gigi - while not naming her ex or 27-year-old Sydney - slammed Glen for failing to put the fan speculation to bed at the time. She said: 'It was just, this is what I have to do for my job. 'I had two options. I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, 'Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f***?' 'Or stand up for myself and say, 'No, I'm actually not okay with this, and I'm walking away.' So that's what I decided to do… I was shattered.' Both Glen and Sydney, who at the time was engaged to Jonathan Davino, have denied anything happened between them and actually admitted to playing on the rumors to ensure maximum publicity for the movie. Glen previously told the New York Times: 'That's people wanting what's on the screen, off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully.' Now Gigi has slammed her ex for refusing to deny the continuous speculation. She said: 'Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, 'No, I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I wouldn't do that.' 'That's all that needed to be said. And that wasn't said ... Never once. "It was serving them for their PR. Later on, it turned out that it was all, I don't know if there was a relationship there or not, but then they came out to say it was all a PR scheme at the expense of our relationship. Like, it was just crazy.' And she admitted at the time she hoped Glen and Sydney would end up together so her break-up wasn't for nothing. She added: 'I honestly hoped that they'd end up together, because I was like, at least it would make it worth it for me, you know? I hope they are in love or whatnot.'

Love Island USA fans spot ‘adult toy' in the background of bedroom scene and ask ‘are y'all seeing this?'
LOVE Island USA fans think they've spotted an 'adult toy' in the background of one bedroom scene. Peacock subscribers made double takes after noticing the phallic-looking object on a nightstand in the shared bedroom. 4 4 And it appeared to belong to Olandria, 27, who is coupled up with Taylor, 24. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers shared their suspicions as they watched on in surprise. One asked: "Y'all seeing this?" while another said: "Yo, what's this wild shit I'm staring at?" A third joked: "Somebody please tell me wtf I'm lookin at." But others hinted it could be a pillow or water bottle instead of the X-rated object. Fans were previously left stunned after spotting what they believed was a woman's IUD on the floor of the villa garden. The dating show returned this week, with Ariana Madix on hand to introduce the islanders to their new home. On day three of the show, the new gang of sexy singles got to know each other better with a game of State Your Case – with briefcases revealing the baggage each islander has. As the swimsuit wearing contestants headed onto the garden, eagle-eyed fans caught what appeared to be an IUD laying on the wooden floor. Sharing a screengrab of the moment, they quickly took to social media, with one post on Reddit declaring: "Is that not an IUD? At 40:39. I saw a FB comment about it and I'm dying" Maura Higgins reveals Love Island USA return - just hours after being 'replaced' by new Aftersun host "How did you even clock this😂😂😂😂 y'all are too observant," said one. While another speculated: "That's why they removed the preview for next episode 🤣🤣" "Omg you are wild for finding this, the internet never fails to amaze me 😝❤️," noted a third. "Well i guess we'll know who's it is if a little islander pops out in 9 months," joked a fourth. However, others were quick to note that an IUD – which is typically inserted into woman as a form of birth control – was unlikely. Instead, they noted it was likely part of a flower, which confused fans last year thanks to their stems branching out into a T shape similar to that of an IUD. "No no no it's funnier as an IUD," one responded, while another noted: "Yes it's funnier but rumors are awful." Love Island USA airs nightly on Peacock. 4
