The video garnered over four million views, winning plaudits for the tiny dog. 'Little man syndrome finally paid off,' a user wrote. 'The bear will forever be ridiculed in the bear community for such an act of cowardice,' another user commented.
'When the little guy realizes his power is not in his size but in his conviction and assertion. Well done little soul,' a third user reacted. 'Glad the dog didn't get hurt but let's not pretend like of the bear wanted to,' a fourth user said.
Speaking to USA TODAY, Kleine told that she had left the door open to let in some fresh air due to the heat while getting ready. That's when the bear entered the house. 'I had music playing (and) didn't hear the bear come in,' Kleine said. 'It wandered around (and) then ate Scout's food in the kitchen.'
'Scout heard and chased the bear out of the house and off the property,' she continued. Concerned for her dog's safety, Kleine said she quickly grabbed a can of pepper spray.
Kleine admitted she was terrified for her pet dog. 'I was worried the bear would turn around and realise how tiny he is,' said Kleine, sharing that Scout weighs only five pounds.

Jackie Chan Says He's 'Scared' Of Stunts, Fears Dying On Sets: 'I'm Not Superman'
Last Updated: Jackie Chan, 71, admits he fears dying during stunts and gets nervous before big scenes. Jackie Chan is 'scared" of stunts and fears he will die on set. The 71-year-old movie star – who started his career as a stuntman before turning to acting – has admitted he always gets nervous before filming a big scene and regularly worries that he will meet a nasty end if an ambitious action sequence goes wrong. During an appearance at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, he explained: 'I'm no Superman. I am scared. Before a stunt, I go: 'Am I going to die this time?'" Chan went on to insist he's still capable of doing his own martial arts scenes now he's in his 70s and he always wants to make his movies the best they can be. He said: 'The audience doesn't know about the rain or the producer, or that the budget was cut. They just want a good movie. I always remember that, so I try to make every scene perfect. I think old movies were better than [what we have] today. Now, these big studios, they are not filmmakers – they are business guys. It's very difficult to make a good movie these days." Chan previously experience a stunt going wrong on the set of his 2020 movie Vanguard when he became trapped underwater while filming a Jet Ski chase scene. Behind-the-scenes footage showed the actor emerging from the water and saying: 'Wow, this scared me to death." The film's director Stanley Tong later told USA Today: 'We wanted to show the outtakes to prove that even though Jackie is 66 years old, he's a professional actor and loves action. He still wants to try anything himself. That's his passion and dedication and devotion to the film industry." Tong added of the Jet Ski scene: 'He was stuck under the water because of a big rock behind him. And he couldn't come up. I was very scared. But as the safety people picked Jackie out of the water. I saw him breathing and move. I said: 'Thank God!' I was crying at that time. Jackie said that the current was so strong he couldn't move and he got pushed against the big rock. Jackie said that all he could think of was: 'Stay calm'. But that night at the hotel, after dinner we had coffee. He was holding onto the coffee cup and his hand was shaking. He told me he was really scared." Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Man, lion startle each other as they come face to face in Gujarat's Junagadh; video amuses netizens
Several incidents of human-animal encounters have been reported in recent times, with many of them proving to be fatal for the people involved. However, a recent video capturing an unexpected encounter between a man and a lion at a cement factory in Gujarat has triggered much laughter across the Internet. The incident occurred in the Junagadh area. Shared by Susanta Nanda, a retired IFS officer, the viral video shows the man casually walking out of the factory's premises. At the same time, a lion happens to be approaching from another direction – their view of each other blocked by what appears to be a guard's room. Just as they both turn the corner, they come face-to-face and panic, running away from each other the same instant. 'Worker of the cement factory at Junagarh & a free roaming lion accidentally meet each other. Both panic. You have just witnessed the rare reverse chase,' Nanda wrote on X. 'Think he never got cautious despite dogs giving those warnings and alarm calls. A lesson for life probably. Dogs they give amazing alarm calls in the night and especially for leopards. One ought to keep the guard and vigil around any such abnormal behaviour of these Mongrels and Strays, especially around wilderness,' a user wrote. 'That's because humans are in their zones,' another commented. 'We give them more reasons to be afraid of us, no wonder she ran away,' a third user reacted. In another bizarre incident, a woman in Rajasthan tied a Rakhi to a leopard. According to reports, the leopard has been frequently spotted in the area over the past few days and has been showing signs of aggression. Local residents claimed it often wandered into the village and appeared unusually fearless of humans.
