How/where to claim the upgrades
Chapter 2- Hebeth
Clear the enemies, and in the final arena, defeat the armored Pinky Rider. Them superheat his armor first and then land the Shield Throw to finish it.
Chapter 5- Holy City of Aratum
In an open fight, land on the southern spire to battle the Titan with the canon. To kill the Titan will grant +10 health.
Chapter 7- Siege— Part 2
Near the end, there appears Cyberdemon alongside Hell Knights. Clear fodder demons for dropping the shields and then finish it.
Chapter 9- Ancestral Forge
The armored Hell Knight will spawn in the middle of the fight. Overheat the armor of the knight and then eliminate for the essence.
Chapter 10- The Forsaken Plains
On the map's northwest, shielded Cyberdemon awaits. Kill the surrounding demons for weakening it beforehand.
Chapter 12- Sentinel Command Station
In the cargo room, after you get Ravager, the armored Pink Rider will appear. Strip the armor of the rider for claiming the upgrade.
Chapter 14- Spire of Nerathul
Shield charge the glowing node for triggering the Cyberdemon fight. Deplete the shields by killing it. Then, execute.
Chapter 15- City of Ry'uul
The Agaddon Hunter lurks in a first combat zone after the Dreadmace is obtained. Ensure to take it down quickly.
Chapter 19- Harbor of Souls
Defeat Komodo amidst the waves of the Pinky Riders. The death of the rider will drop the essence.
Chapter 20- Resurrection
The Revenant leader will appear early on. Kill the surrounding demons for breaking the shields. Then, finish it.
If you missed either of the upgrades, just replay the chapters through the mission select screen. Collect all the 10 to max the health. Do not ignore the upgrades, as each of the essences will help you progress towards essentially unstoppable achievement. Just gear up and hunt the leaders to come out as the true slayer.

Madha Yaanai Koottam director Vikram Sugumaran dies of cardiac arrest at 47!
Having begun his career working as an assistant to Balu Mahendra, Vikram was also the co-writer of Vetri Maaran's Aadukalam. He is survived by his wife and children. Filmmaker Vikram Sugumaran , whose directorial works include the rural drama Madha Yaanai Koottam (2013) and Raavana Kottam (2023), passed away due to cardiac arrest on Monday. He was 47. The director had reportedly experienced severe chest pain as he was returning from Madurai to Chennai after narrating a story to a producer.
