Peyton Manning visits dugout at Savannah Bananas game
The Savannah Bananas took their World Tour to Denver, Colorado, over the weekend as they entertained fans with two games at Coors Field.
They play 'Banana Ball,' which MLB's website describes as a "fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs and games that are won by points -- not runs."
While in town, a few members of the Savannah Bananas and players from the Firefighters (one of Savannah's opponents in the Banana Ball league) stopped by Denver Broncos training camp on Tuesday.
Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and his son, Marshall, attended at least one of the games at Coors Field, and he got into the dugout:

Banana Ball's "Dancing Umpire" also got a picture with Manning:
"From calling audibles to watching a banana's game," the umpire wrote on his Facebook page. "Had to get a pic with the legend himself Peyton Manning! 'Omaha Omaha' this was an audible I didn't have on my bingo card!"
The Savannah Bananas have a sold-out schedule for the rest of their 2025 season.

Steelers receive injury update on 3 players following preseason loss to Buccaneers
Injuries hit Pittsburgh hard throughout the preseason Week 2 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — and HC Mike Tomlin has provided an injury update on three Steelers. Following the 14-17 loss to the Buccaneers, Tomlin addressed several health concerns with reporters in the postgame press conference — particularly those of OT Gareth Warren, LS Christian Kuntz, and OLB Nick Herbig. Tomlin started off the injury updates with Warren, an undrafted rookie offensive lineman, who's being evaluated for a concussion. Regarding Kuntz, Tomlin acknowledged that he wasn't ready to speak on hypotheticals, but stated there was some 'good news' regarding the chest injury that caused him to leave the contest. He was then asked if Herbig, who left the game with a hamstring injury, was okay, to which Tomlin responded with a resounding 'yes.' Based on Tomlin's comments, it appears that none of the three Steelers are expected to miss significant time — an ideal situation with almost 20 days remaining before their regular-season kickoff versus the New York Jets.
