Peyton Manning's viral golf moment left Scottie Scheffler laughing and Eli mocking

Peyton Manning's viral golf moment left Scottie Scheffler laughing and Eli mocking Four! Four! Peyton Manning was paired with Scottie Scheffler at the Golden Bear Pro-Am in Ohio last week, and the former quarterback had an embarrassing moment on one of his tee shots. Soon after Manning struck the ball in a now-viral video, he said, "Four! Four!" Immediately after that, there's a loud crashing sound. His shot apparently hit a house. Scheffler couldn't help but laugh. Peyton's brother, Eli Manning, saw the video on social media and offered a sarcastic tweet: "I'm so proud!!" This isn't the first time Manning has gone viral for a mishap on the golf course. Last summer, Manning topped his opening tee shot at the BMW Championship pro-am in Castle Pines. After his shot went about 15 yards, the good-natured Manning asked the crowd, "Anyone see where that went?" He's a five-time NFL MVP and a two-time Super Bowl champion, but Manning's clearly still working on his golf game. Everyone's human. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.

Eli Pokes Fun at Peyton After Golf Gaffe

Eli Pokes Fun at Peyton After Golf Gaffe originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning hasn't needed much help staying around the game in the early years of his retirement. Much of that can be attributed to his brother, Peyton Manning, the Pro Football Hall of Famer with an expansive off-field empire. Advertisement The two co-host the 'Manningcast' for Monday Night Football and coach against each other during the Pro Bowl. Between commercials and number retirements, they aren't hard to find. Their presence is online, too, often at the expense of each other. The Giants legend recently poked fun at Peyton after a golf gaffe hit the timeline. Manning overshot his drive and hit a house, giving Eli plenty of ammo. 'I'm so proud!' Eli posted on Twitter. When he isn't trolling his brother on social media, there's a good chance he's hanging around New York sports. He's among the cavalry of former Giants who have spoken to the team at organized team activities. Advertisement On Wednesday, head coach Brian Daboll spoke to reporters about their presence. 'Yeah, it's something I thought about at the end of the season, getting ready for this upcoming season, some of the things I wanted to do,' Daboll said. 'One of those was to bring some guys in, brought a number of them in. There will be another one here today. Give a good message about what it means to be a Giant for them and some different things that hopefully mean something to our players. 'Obviously a lot of legends that have played the game for this organization and tremendous football players in the National Football League, and I have a good relationship with a lot of those guys throughout my time here and they're willing to come in and talk to those young guys. I think it's beneficial for them.' It may be a coincidence, but New York likely appreciates that Manning, Michael Strahan, and Justin Tuck play the same positions as its 2025 first-round picks. Edge rusher Abdul Carter was grateful for the experience of listening to Strahan and Tuck, and Jaxson Dart has a history with Manning given their connections to the University of Mississippi. Advertisement 'No, we have conversations before they come, but again, to hear from an LT or a Stray (Strahan) or a Tuck or Eli. There's been a number of them,' he added. 'I think it's good for these players that are playing for this organization to hear from guys that have done it at a high level, not just for the New York Giants, but for the National Football League.' Needless to say, fans can expect to see much more of Manning this season, whether it be around the Giants or on ESPN. Scottie Scheffler breaks out in laughter after Peyton Manning's errant tee shot reportedly hits house

NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning was a source of entertainment for reigning PGA Championship winner Scottie Scheffler when the two partnered up for the 2025 Memorial Tournament Pro-Am this week. The two were all smiles as they walked the course at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin. Ohio on Wednesday, but it was Manning who was the subject of Scheffler's amusement after the Indianapolis Colts great took a wild shot that resulted in potentially some damage for one homeowner. Video shared on social media showed Manning yelling, "Fore!" several times after one of his tee shots. Almost immediately after the sound of the ball hitting something could be heard. The ball reportedly made contact with a house. The camera then pans over to Scheffler, who leans over in laughter. "Good morning, sir," he quipped. "That's too much." Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning didn't miss an opportunity to highlight his brother's errant shot, and shared the video on X. "I'm so proud," he said in the post. Scheffler is the defending champion at the Memorial and is attempting to join Tiger Woods as the only repeat winners at Muirfield Village. He entered the third round on Saturday in fourth place, three strokes behind leader Nick Taylor. Julius Thomas gives his prediction for Bo Nix's second season

Julius Thomas had a relatively brief but impactful career with the Denver Broncos. Playing for the club from 2011-2014, Thomas recorded two Pro Bowl seasons in 2013 and 2014. In those two seasons, he tallied 1,277 yards and 24 touchdowns, becoming one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets. So when it comes to the Broncos, he's certified. This is why, after nailing his Bo Nix prediction in 2024, he's back for a second prediction for Nix in his sophomore season. Thomas stated that Nix, although it may have been uncertain for Broncos Country then, would be pleased with Nix as the quarterback. This year, Thomas sees growth due to how Nix came in and learned Sean Payton's system at a rapid pace. Thomas elaborates more below. Nix showed he could be an elite quarterback in college, playing for two teams and five different offensive coordinators in five years. Despite that, he left the NCAA as the single-season completion percentage leader in 2024. So, with stability in the NFL, Thomas has merit in believing that Nix will make an even bigger jump in 2025. Remarkable Jayden Daniels' statistic puts him in class by himself

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels made a lot of history in 2024. It seemed like Daniels was breaking another league record or franchise record every week. Daniels' success wasn't only in his stats. He led the Commanders to their best season in 33 years, including a surprising trip to the NFC championship game. But those stats were pretty impressive. Advertisement When fans and analysts talk about stats, you often hear about touchdowns, total yards, completion percentage, or some version of analytics. However, sometimes the simple statistics can be the most impressive. Sometimes, it's even the ones you didn't even know were a stat. There was one stretch last season when longtime punter Tress Way did not punt once — in multiple games. That's how good Washington's offense was, specifically Daniels. CBS Sports pointed out a statistic that not only puts Daniels in elite company, but also in a class by himself. Yes, you read that correctly. In 20 career starts, Daniels had three games where his team did not punt or turn the ball over. Four of the most legendary quarterback names ever — Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes — have combined for two such games in 993 career starts. Advertisement That's a remarkable statistic. Daniels was terrific all season, but seemed to get even better late in the season when Washington made its playoff push. As good as Daniels was as a passer, he also led the Commanders in rushing. It's too soon to mention Daniels in the same company as the above quarterbacks, but he's off to a great start and spent the offseason ensuring there will be no sophomore slump. This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels set a record last season that may never be broken.
