A TEENAGE boy has admitted robbing a drum from a club employee before a Rangers and St Johnstone match.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, assaulted Saints supporters liaison officer Beverly Mayer at Hampden Park on August 17 2024.

Court papers state that the boy - while acting with another person wearing a face covering - ran towards Miss Mayer and seized hold of a drum she was carrying.
The charge says that the boy dragged her by the drum which caused her to fall and strike her head on the ground.
The papers goes on to state that the teenager then robbed Miss Mayer of a drum.
He also pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The charge says that the teenager was part of a disorderly crowd, repeatedly shouted, swore and challenged others to fight.
Papers further state he uttered offensive remarks and threats of violence.
The Crown accepted a plea of not guilty to a charge that said the boy resisted, obstructed or hindered two police officers in the execution of their duty.
It had been alleged he ran away from constables Colin McCartney and Jonathan Fairlie and struggled with them.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month where more information regarding the circumstances will be heard.
Sheriff Jonathan Guy granted the boy, of Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, bail meantime.

At the time, the former SFA chief executive hailed it as a "great tribute" to the nine-in-a-row icon. Speaking at the opening of Walter's Bar, Mr Smith said: "It's brilliant it's called Walter's because it's a great tribute to Walter Smith, who was not only a fantastic person but he was also a fantastic manager of Rangers, very successful. "Everybody's got the greatest of respect for him. It's a pleasure to be along here today. "I'd just like to open this on behalf of the owners and also in memory of Walter Smith." A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.55pm on Saturday, 16 August, 2025 we received a report of a disturbance at a premises on Queen Street in Rutherglen. "A 28-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Two men, aged 34 and 58, were also injured but did not require hospital treatment. "Enquiries are ongoing."

Shazad Bakhsh, 47, fronted a consortium from Singapore that was one of the contenders for the Ibrox club in 2012 after it went into administration. When the sum wasn't repaid, the alleged victim reported it to police in the United Arab Emirates. As a result Bakhsh, who owns a mansion near Glasgow, was lifted at Dubai's airport before he could board a flight back to the UK. It is understood his wife Sonia, 37, is back at their home while the family awaits news of his release. But last night a source close to the case said: 'Mr Bakhsh is in a spot of bother. It's not clear how or when he is going to get out of jail.' The tycoon is understood to have been placed under travel restrictions in Dubai earlier this year after another alleged fraud was reported. He has been detained in the emirate's notorious Central Prison since his arrest on June 3. It has been described by inmates as a 'hellhole'. Prisoners have their heads shaved on entry and are then caged in terrifying conditions. Meanwhile, authorities in the desert state are also understood to be assessing other potential alleged cases against Bakhsh. Sources say he faces more claims from businessmen in Cyprus, Hungary, Switzerland and Singapore that he duped them out of large sums of money. In March 2012, it was reported he was the frontman for a possible bid for Gers after the club went bust under Craig Whyte's ownership. New Rangers chiefs Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe's first interview The consortium he was linked to was said to include financial backing from the Far East. And they were believed to be preparing an offer 'within hours' to administrators Duff and Phelps. At the time, Bakhsh was said to head a firm that hired out Rolls-Royce cars, jets and luxury yachts. Weeks later we told how English businessman Charles Green bought Rangers for £5.5million. A year earlier Bakhsh and his wife had been pictured at a restaurant in Glasgow with Michael Winner, the legendary Death Wish filmmaker who died in 2013 at 77. Bakhsh has more than a dozen directorships listed at Companies House, many of them registered to an address in Glasgow city centre. Several other 'dissolved' firms are linked to a property in the city's Hillhead. Occupations listed for him include company director, IT trainer and operations director. Sources say Bakhsh has operated in various sectors, including gold, currency and whisky. He has also amassed a fleet of luxury cars including Ferraris and Porsches. Documents show he paid £1.2million in 2015 for his sprawling home at Newton Mearns, near Glasgow. In 2019 he was behind plans for a £60million retirement village nearby with his company Scotsbridge. Last night a spokesman for the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office said: 'We are supporting a British man who is detained in Dubai and are in contact with the local authorities.' The Criminal Investigation Department of Dubai police has been contacted for comment.

Pair targeted man for Apple AirPods in Glasgow midnight attack
Gerard Noon, 20, and the 17-year-old boy preyed upon Grant Murray on Glasgow city centre's High Street after midnight on January 25 2024. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that the pair went behind X and said: "Are these your AirPods? Give them to me or I will stab you." Prosecutor Victoria Keel said: "Both had their hands in their pockets as if they were holding an object." They remarked about having a "blade" and would stab their victim. Another witness overheard the pair saying that they would "slice you and get you." Noon, of the city's Springburn and the boy - both first offenders - pleaded guilty to assault and attempted robbery. The teenager, of the city's Milton, also admitted possession of a blade in a public place without a reasonable excuse. Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Joan Kerr who granted both attackers bail meantime.
