63+ best Prime Day deals under $25: Save on Apple, Olaplex, Lego and more

NBC News10-07-2025
Amazon Prime Day 2025 is now on its second-to-last day, and while the big-ticket items tend to steal the spotlight, some of the best savings are hiding in the under-$25 section. During the four-day sale, which is exclusive to Prime members, you'll find worthwhile deals across categories like tech, beauty and household essentials — many of them at their lowest prices ever.
I've been covering Prime Day at NBC Select for over four years, so I know how to separate real deals from filler. I spent weeks combing through thousands of listings to curate the best Prime Day deals under $25. Every product I recommend below is highly rated, at least 20% off and at its lowest price in at least three months.
This list will be updated regularly throughout Prime Day, so check back as new price drops roll in.
Best Prime Day deals under $25
One of our favorite smart plugs, this Amazon model plugs into any standard outlet and lets you automate gadgets like lamps, air purifiers and fans — simply pair the smart plug with the Alexa app and then plug in your electronic appliance. You can also control a device remotely using the Alexa app on your phone.
Attach your AirTag to your keys, wallet, luggage, pet's collar and more to find and keep track of them. The Apple FindMy app lets you pinpoint the exact location of your AirTag if it's within 30 feet, and its chime and sound feature makes your items even easier to find.
These Kitchenaid oven mitts are made from soft, ribbed silicone that's grippy, water-resistant and heat-resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the brand. They also feel comfortable against your skin, thanks to a cotton cuff.
This anti-frizz spray helps minimize heat damage and makes hair smooth after styling. It is a favorite among our NBC Select editors, who use it regularly and say it never leaves their hair feeling greasy or weighed down. The brand recommends evenly distributing the product through damp hair and blow-drying afterward.
This moisturizer earned the No. 3 spot on our list of 100 best moisturizers. It's fragrance- and oil-free, gentle for those with sensitive skin and noncomedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores. 'This is one of my all-time favorite moisturizers because it never irritates my sensitive, acne-prone skin and absorbs quickly, so I can wear it under makeup,' says NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin. 'It makes my often dry skin feel smooth and hydrated very quickly post-application.'
This toiletry bag won an NBC Select Travel Award because its spaciousness and multiple compartments make it easy to organize makeup, skin care or other travel items. I use this bag when I'm going on either a long, overseas trip or a short weekend getaway. It holds everything I need, its soft sides make it easy to store, and the clear compartments show me where my belongings are stored.
Plug the Fire Stick into your TV's HDMI port to stream movies, TV shows and music. The remote has built-in Amazon Alexa, so you can control it using your voice, plus 16GB of storage to download streaming apps, games and other content on your device.
Stocking up on household essentials this Prime Day? Consider this on-sale pack of 32 Energizer AA batteries, which can last up to 10 years in storage (so you don't have to worry about using them right away).
Carry this sling bag for easy access to all of your essentials, including your passport, wallet and phone. It's made from water-resistant nylon and folds down into a compact zip pouch, so you can store it in your travel backpack or carry-on.
This plant-based powder is a favorite of Malin's: 'I'm very loyal to Orgain's protein powder, which I've used for at least five years. It completely blends into my smoothies, making them creamy and smooth rather than gritty,' she says. It has 21 grams of protein per serving, and the container includes a scooper. The protein powder comes in several flavors, including vanilla bean, horchata and strawberries and cream.
This pack of three includes two all-purpose cleaners to clean grease, grime and soap scum, plus a bathroom disinfecting spray to clean sinks, toilet exteriors and showers. Each cleaner is bleach-free, so you can disinfect most household surfaces without the chemical smell.
This personal water filter is great to take on hikes, camping or other outdoor adventures. It filters out parasites, microplastics and impurities from your water as you sip through the top mouthpiece, plus its lightweight and slim design makes it easy to take on the go.
This is one of our favorite Amazon kitchen gadgets: simple add kernels, throw it in the microwave and enjoy a warm snack in minutes. The body is made of transparent glass, so you can watch kernels pop, plus the removable lid doubles as a measuring cup that tells you exactly how many kernels to add. You can also add butter directly on top of the lid, which has little holes that allow the butter to melt in the microwave and drip down onto your popcorn.
This shower oil is a favorite among our NBC Select editors as a post-body wash step or as a shaving cream alternative. I use this every time I shower, and I love the thick, silky texture — it leaves my skin soft, smooth and smelling great (the almond scent isn't overpowering).
This meat thermometer has a digital display that shows meat temperature in about three seconds, which can come in handy during a summer barbecue. It's durable, water-resistant and has a built-in temperature guide for different meats.
I own several silk scrunchies from Kitsch, and plan to expand my collection with this pack of eight spiral hair ties. The hair ties, which are about the size of a quarter, are stretchy, water-resistant and prevent tangling and breakage, according to the brand.
This is one of my favorite board games to play with friends and family — it's easy, fast paced and great for both children and adults. Players compete by building trains and railways to see who can claim the most routes and stations. The game comes with 110 train car pieces, 30 destination tickets and a rulebook.
I keep at least one Touchland hand sanitizer spray at my desk at all times — it's easy to apply with one hand, and it's small enough to conveniently throw in my bag and carry around with me. The Glow Mist's rosewater fragrance is also one of my favorite scents and is far more appealing than the typical chemical sanitizer smell.
This USB-C wall charger can charge two devices simultaneously without sacrificing charging speed, according to the brand. Plus, it folds down to help prevent tangling with other cords and cables in your bag, and its compact size makes it easy to take on the go.
One of our favorite under-eye patches, these Topicals masks are sticky, so they won't slide on your face. The gel feels cooling on the skin and has niacinamide for brightening and hydrating, as well as caffeine for temporary depuffing, according to the brand.
Differin Gel helps treat mild to moderate acne and blackheads using adapalene gel, a type of retinoid. It also helps cure inflammation, deep cleans pores and prevents new pimples from forming, experts say in our guide to cystic acne. The brand recommends applying a thin layer all over your face after cleansing and moisturizing.
Connect your Echo Pop to Wi-Fi and control compatible devices, get weather alerts, play music, set timers and more using your voice or the Amazon Alexa app. This smart speaker is compact enough to sit on your nightstand, shelf or mantle.
This variety pack comes with 132 gallon Ziploc bags that are safe to store in the freezer. The bags are designed with a stand-up bottom, so you can easily fill them up hands-free.
This 52-pack of Cascade dishwasher tablets soak, scrub and rinse dishes while leaving behind a fresh, clean scent.
Kind bars are always in our office snack collection. This variety pack of Kind bars comes in three flavors: caramel, almond and sea salt; dark chocolate, nuts and sea salt; and peanut butter and dark chocolate. Each bar is individually wrapped in a mini size (great for a quick snack).
Olaplex makes some of our favorite clarifying shampoos and sulfate-free hair products. This shampoo works for all hair types and helps hydrate and repair damaged hair, according to the brand.

La Roche-Posay is an editor-favorite skin care brand because its products are hydrating and gentle. Best for normal to oily skin, this facial cleanser from the brand has niacinamide and ceramides to soothe your skin, as well as glycerin to add moisture. It's also fragrance-free, so it's great for sensitive skin.
One of our favorite pimple patches, the Mighty Patch uses hydrocolloid gel to absorb oil, dirt and dirt from your pimples, according to the brand. They're a favorite of NBC Select editorial projects manager Rebecca Rodriguez, who loves that they blend into her skin tone, so no one can tell she has one on.
Hypochlorous acid helps remove bacteria from the skin, reduces redness, and aids in healing eczema flare-ups, sunburns and even bug bites. Lowest price ever: This Anker charger is almost 50% off right now

At NBC Select, we have a lot to say about chargers and power banks. Knowing the difference between a great one and a not-so-good one can make or break your next vacation or road trip, which is where we come in to help. Anker makes some of the fastest charging devices I've ever used — it's one of the best brands on the market for these kinds of devices and while it recently recalled a few of its products, one that's still fair game is the Anker Prime 67-watt charger. It's almost 50% off on Amazon right now, putting it at its lowest price ever. Learn more, below. Deal of the Day: The Anker Prime 67-watt USB-C charger is 1.5 x 1.5 x 2 inches, making it less than half the size of an Apple laptop power adapter. It has three ports: a USB and two USB-C ones. It's safe to charge up to three devices simultaneously, including iPhones, iPads and other tablets, earbuds and over-ear headphones, Apple Watches and Macbook Pro and Air, according to Anker. The charger also powers up devices quickly — customers note that it charges around 2 to 3% every minute, depending on the device. Given its small size, the charger could easily fit a travel tech organizer bag, a tote or crossbody bag. Want more from NBC Select? Sign up for our newsletter, The Selection, and shop smarter. Google giveaway offers free smartwatch and earbuds ahead of Pixel 10 launch

The Pixel 10 is set to be unveiled at the annual Made By Google event on August 20, but these Pixel 9 deals may too good to miss. Google has confirmed when it will unveil the new Pixel 10 smartphone, but the tech giant's latest giveaway may tempt shoppers into sticking with the current model. Google's annual Made by Google event is set for August 20 in New York City, where it will showcase its latest Pixel devices, including phones, watches and earbuds. Ahead of the event, the Pixel 9 range has dropped to a record low price as retailers tempt shoppers into picking up the 2024 model. One of our favourite deals comes from Currys-backed retailer which is handing out free Google gadgets with orders of the Google Pixel 9. Customers can get their hands on Pixel Buds A Series, Pixel Buds Pro 2 and a Pixel Watch 3 when signing up for select 24-month contracts. The Pixel Buds A are bundled in with a choice of plans, including iD Mobile's £24.99 per month deal, alongside 100GB of data for a £59 upfront cost. There's also the option to increase the monthly cost to £27.99 to lower the upfront cost to £9. However, this works out at £22 more expensive over the life of the plan. For the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, a standout package is the iD Mobile £28.99 plan, with £9 upfront for 100GB of data. Those preferring a free Pixel Watch 3 (41mm) can opt for iD Mobile's £28.99 plan, offering 100GB with a £59 upfront cost. The free gift with each package will be delivered with the handset to the address provided at the checkout, however the deal is only available while stocks last. It's worth noting that iD Mobile – like most providers – will increase its prices every April alongside inflation. The company has already set out its changes, with the £24.99 plan rising to £26.49 from April 2026 and £27.99 from 1st April 2027. Taking into account the £59 upfront cost, the total amount paid over 24 months comes to £715.76, but those who prefer to buy the phone outright can currently find a cheaper deal elsewhere. That's because an unlocked Google Pixel 9 256GB has fallen from £899 to £597 at Amazon – a £302 saving. This is the cheapest price ever offered for the handset, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. Sky Mobile is another option, with the 128GB model now at £21 when spreading the cost, with £12 upfront. However, this comes on a longer 36-month contract and must be purchased with a Sky data plan, ranging from £0 for 100MB to £20 for unlimited. The Google Pixel 9 has earned some rave reviews on Amazon, where it currently boasts a 4.4-star rating. One happy customer said, 'Brilliant. The phone feels quality, and the build is excellent. The transfer of data from a Samsung S21 was simple. The camera is excellent. The OS is less fussy than Samsung.' Another said: 'Good all-round phone. Good, solid case. Clear screen with Android 14 but upgraded to 15. Includes Gemini AI software. Seems intuitive, but only time will tell how useful it is.' However, the same user found a downside, adding: "The only criticism is that there is no SD card slot to increase memory. If you take and store a lot of photos, you will have to keep transferring to another memory medium.' But another five-star review said: 'Excellent product. Has a sleek design and lightweight, lovely features and great value for money. It is also very easy to use.'

New research shows changing consumer attitudes towards second-hand economy

New research from Amazon, compiled by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), has revealed that two-thirds of British consumers bought second-hand goods online last year, with pre-owned online shopping set to grow to 4.8 billion pounds in the UK this year. The changing consumer attitudes towards the second-hand economy are being driven by clothing and fashion, with the research stating that British consumers saved a collective 5.6 billion pounds in 2024 and kept 199 million products in circulation. The key factors for consumers turning to pre-owned products include increasing cost-of-living pressures, wider availability of second-hand goods, and heightened consideration of environmental issues among shoppers. Demographics also reveal an evolving market, with 74 percent of people aged 34 and under embracing second-hand shopping compared to 52 percent of over-55s. CEBR also noted that average monthly spend on pre-loved goods has more than doubled over five years, increasing by 113 percent from 58.40 to 124.80 pounds a month, and second-hand products now account for 34-45 percent of UK spending within some of the most popular categories, including tech, fashion and home appliances. Despite growing popularity, barriers remain, with the report identifying key concerns from consumers, including product condition (43 percent), lack of warranties (39 percent), and seller trust (29 percent) preventing wider adoption.
