SOAP SHOCK Emmerdale star breaks silence as she confirms she's quit the show after six years
EMMERDALE star Rachael Gill-Davis has broken her silence after quitting the soap.
The actress - who played Gail Loman in the ITV soap - bowed out in last night's episode in emotional scenes after suddenly realising she wanted more from life than working in boyfriend Ryan Stocks pub.

Instead she opted for a new life in Devon, having told Ryan she was no longer in love with him.
The Sun revealed earlier this year how the actress had agreed to leave the show.
And now Rachael has confirmed her exit, posting simply: 'Goodbye Emmerdale' as her final episode was broadcast.
In the episode she said a goodbye to Ryan, insisting he was a catch, before being driven to the train station by Mary Goskirk.

The actress made her debut as Ryan Stocks' girlfriend Gail Loman in 2019 for a brief appearance before making a shock return in 2023 for a full-time comeback.
However despite landing a role as a barmaid in The Woolpack and having a secret child return to her in a big storyline, Gail hasn't become a permanent fixture in the village.
And the star has agreed to leave the soap later this year.
A source said: 'Rachael has loved her time on the show but it's time to go.

'Bosses felt the character wasn't inspiring much story and so it was all very amicable. The door has been left open but it's a definite goodbye for now.
'Rachael is looking forward to spreading her wings and showing off her talents on other shows.'
Emmerdale in double exit shock as show legend leaves after 16 years - and takes co-star with her
The actress opened up about her disappointment last year when she discovered she had been cut from a big budget Netflix production.
She had filmed scenes for Greeek mythology epic KAOS with an all-star cast led by Hollywood A-lister Jeff Goldblum.

But she was devastated to discover she had been axed just days before the show was released worldwide.
KAOS was cancelled by Netflix shortly after its debut.

However, the new images appear to show his updated tattoo of flowers covering up the poignant homage. He also opened up to the publication about his connection with wife Nicola - whom he wed in 2022. Brooklyn shared: "When I first saw Nicola at Coachella, I was immediately captivated - by her beauty, her warmth, her charisma. "Even though it was only a fleeting moment, it stayed with me for a long time." He then added: "You have to marry your best friend, someone you feel at home with. For me, Nicola is exactly that." Brooklyn and Nicola first sparked rumours of a huge rift between them and Brooklyn's parents when they snubbed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year. Budding photographer Brooklyn also previously fell out with his parents shortly after his marriage to Nicola. Every Guillermo del Toro film: All of the Frankenstein director's films ranked, from best to worst

With his love of monsters, it is no surprise that Guillermo del Toro has directed more than his fair share of creature features. From his debut film Cronos, a horror film about an otherworldly Scarab to his Oscar-winning Gothic romance The Shape of Water, the Mexican director is no stranger to the unusual. And regardless of genre, all of del Toro's filmmaking is imbued with a distinct visual flair, making his upcoming adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein feel all the more appealing - especially since we know that many scenes for the film were shot around Scotland.
