The summer solstice celebration of Ivana Kupala was held in Malmesbury this weekend.Among the wreath making, flower crowns and traditional music, refugees and locals asked the world not to forget about the war in Ukraine.Uliana Khotynska fled Ukraine two years ago and said most people are thinking about the "situation in Iran and Gaza" adding "it's really important to remind everybody about Ukraine".For the third year running the group - Malmesbury Stands with Ukraine - organised the Ivana Kupala festival in the grounds of Malmesbury Abbey.
Among the traditional Ukrainian songs sang by the Malmesbury Ukrainian Choir was one new addition. The song "Flowers of Ivana Kupala" was created after the melody came to local composer, Julian Kay, in a dream. He said: "I dreamt of a Slavic-sounding tune and thought this could be useful."Mr Kay gifted it to the Malmesbury Ukrainian choir's lead, Debbie Cambray-Smith, and local Ukrainian, Slava Rubinska, wrote the lyrics. The song is about the Ivana Kupala flower crowns offering hope of happiness in this world.

Love Island's Cach reveals Toni is ‘struggling' with fame after winning show and sparks concern about their future

Cach said he has been keeping a close eye on her every day. However, one comment has sparked that Toni could be heading back to America soon, leaving question marks over their blossoming relationship. Asked how things are outside of the villa, Cach said: "It's going well, I feel like feelings are strong as they were in the villa. "I've been spending every day with her since obviously she's here by herself, so making sure she's OK and stuff. "But she's struggling a bit with the attention aspect. "Because before she worked a normal job, and had no followig, she's never had this amount of attention in her life. "I've let her know that we've just come off one of the biggest shows in the UK and everybody in the UK watches it." Cach added: "Once she goes back to America I don't think it will be that bad ... it will be more like she can breath. "Like we went shopping the other day and she gets swarmed by the little girls like people calling her 'icon'. Cach and Toni WIN Love Island and bag £50k as raunchiest ever series ends "She loves it as well but when she comes away from it she deeps it and gets overwhelmed, like not being able to do shopping. "She'll get used to it and I feel like it won't be this tense for too long." Best pals Shakira and Toni battled it out to win Love Island with their partners Harry and Cach. Toni was the show's first American bombshell and fans loved her rollercoaster journey on the show. Just a few weeks before the final, Toni split from Cach to rekindle with her old flame Harrison - not knowing he had been intimate with Casa Amor's Lauren. After just one day, he U-turned yet again - and ended up leaving the villa when Lauren was voted out. Despite Cach breaking down in tears over the embarrassment of his public split from Toni, he forgave her. They started up their relationship once again and on their final night in the villa said "I love you". 6 6

Emmerdale star left stumped in difficult Celebrity Catchphrase final – could you outsmart her and work them out?

AN Emmerdale star was left flummoxed in a difficult Celebrity Catchphrase final - but could you solve the tricky riddles? Rebecca Sarker, who plays Manpreet Sharma, struggled to decipher some cryptic puzzles. 5 5 The actress, 50, had competed against Jordan Stephens and Les Dennis. While ascending the Super Catchphrase pyramid, Rebecca faced three difficult riddles. The first depicted the Mr. Chips character writing at a desk, with piles of paper on either side. Rebecca guessed "letter of the law" and "pencil" - but the answer turned out to be "Paper Cut". The next one showed a woman looking at a menu, pointing at the starters. Figures depicted bowls of soup which had days of the week written on them. Rebecca took a stab at "Tuesday starter" and "daily starter", among others before passing. She was later left kicking herself when the answer was revealed as "Soup Of The Day". With only seconds remaining, Rebecca moved on to another puzzle - but only saw it briefly. It featured a woman and child making sand castles together on a beach. Emmerdale's Joe Absolom wins huge jackpot with seconds to spare on Celebrity Catchphrase - but did you get it before him? Rebecca just barely saw butterflies with watches in the centre appear on screen. These represented the answer - commonly-used turn of phrase, "Time Flies". Having answered earlier puzzles correctly, Rebecca walked away with a combined £8,400 for her charity - which included her fund banked earlier. Emmerdale co-star, Joe Absolom had a very different outcome on the ITV show. The soap star, 46, had just seconds left to work out the crucial jackpot puzzle. Joe made light work of the pyramid - with 29 seconds remaining to answer the £50,000 Catchphrase. After deliberation - and only four seconds left - the actor correctly answered "One stop shop." It meant Joe scooped £50,000 for his charity - as well as £6,700 he won in earlier rounds. Host Stephen Mulhern said: "Do you know what, that is incredible. Wow, I have never seen it done like that." Joe then revealed he couldn't wait to share the good news with his charity. He joined the Emmerdale cast this year, playing shady new bad guy Ray Walters. 5 5
