
Shakhboot bin Nahyan attends graduation ceremony of Emirates National Schools in Abu Dhabi campuses

ABU DHABI (WAM) Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended the graduation ceremony of the 18th cohort of the Emirates National Schools students from its campuses in Abu Dhabi City, Mohamed Bin Zayed City, and Al Ain. This year's graduating cohort includes 664 students, celebrated in a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Ahmed Mohammed Al Hamiri, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools; Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Adviser to the UAE President; Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Protocol and Strategic Narrative; other senior officials.The ceremony featured a short film chronicling the journey and achievements of Emirates National Schools, highlighting its status as a leading educational institution both locally and internationally.Al Hamiri expressed his deep appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his continuous commitment to advancing the national education system.He also extended gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed for his generous patronage, which has significantly contributed to establishing Emirates National Schools as a pioneering national model.'The unwavering support has played a crucial role in shaping a generation that is not only proud of its national identity and core values but also fully equipped to meet the demands of the knowledge era,' Al Hamiri said.He also pointed to several recent strategic developments within the schools, including the establishment of Technical and Vocational Training Centres and other scholarships.
He also spoke about the creation of an exceptional learning environment, backed by globally qualified academic and administrative staff, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and active partnerships with parents and community institutions.

'Gender parity in the Federal National Council, the increased representation of women in leadership roles, and substantial legal reforms demonstrate the UAE's commitment to protecting and empowering women.'She further commended the UAE for its continued progress on women's rights, adding, 'The government's proactive approach—including significant investments in the protection of women and children in crisis settings—reflects the country's dedication to ensuring safety and equality for all women and girls. UAE condemns Israeli attacks on cities, villages in occupied West Bank
27 June 2025 00:13 ABU DHABI (WAM)The United Arab Emirates has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks by Israeli settlers on cities and villages in the occupied West Bank, with the most recent attack being the killing and injuring of a number of Palestinians in Kafr Malik village near a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) warned against the continuous attacks by settlers, and called on the Israeli government to assume full responsibility, condemn these hostile acts, and hold perpetrators accountable. The UAE reiterates that failure to act will be seen as tacit approval that will only further deepen the cycle of hatred, racism, and Ministry emphasised the necessity for concerted endeavours to halt the escalation and prevent further loss of life. The Ministry stressed the importance of providing full protection to civilians according to international law and Ministry called on the international community to fulfil their responsibilities to end the continuous Israeli violations, and prevent fuelling the situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory and the region. The Ministry stressed the need to support all regional and international efforts to advance the peace process in the Middle East to reach comprehensive and just peace, as well as end illegal practices that undermine the two-state solution.
