
Mamamoo's Moonbyul to bring out 4th solo EP
She is putting out the new album approximately a year after 'Starlit of Twinkle: Repackage,' a reissue of her first solo full album, 'Starlit of Muse.' The LP topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 10 regions and the repackage in seven.
In May, she dropped the digital single 'Icy Bby,' a tune of confidence she co-wrote. It will be included on the forthcoming mini album.
Moonbyul is carrying on with her solo fan concert tour 'Sea;nema' as well, and greeted fans in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, earlier this month and in Hong Kong last week. Her next stop will be Kaohsiung, Taipei.

Mamamoo's Wheein joins new agency: report
Wheein of Mamamoo has officially joined With Us Entertainment, according to a local media report on Friday. The agency confirmed the news, adding that it will spare no effort in both its support of her as a solo singer and as a member of the group. Wheein was the first member of the quartet to forge a path as a soloist with the release of her first single, 'magnolia,' in 2018. Since then, she has added two EPs, an album and four digital singles to her solo discography. She hosted her first solo international tour last year, which took her to six cities in Asia and 11 in Europe and North America over seven months. After the tour, she let her fans know that she had parted ways with her previous management company, The Live, after three years.

Red Velvet's Wendy to return as soloist in September
Wendy of Red Velvet is poised to make a comeback as a solo musician in September, according to a local media report on Thursday. Her agency ASND confirmed the news, asking fans to keep their expectations high. Wendy's latest solo endeavor was her second EP 'Wish You Hell,' which came out in March 2024. The six-track set topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 21 regions as well as several music charts at home and abroad. The upcoming EP will be her first effort since she left SM Entertainment in April and signed with ASND. Separately, the singer participated in the original soundtrack for the Japanese adaptation of drama 'Marry My Husband,' unveiled earlier in July. She sang 'Blazing Steps' for the Amazon Prime Original based on a hit Korean webtoon of the same title.
