Days after their exit, the pair appeared on podcast Love Island: The Morning After.
Ben shared how he's had a "reality check" after fans branded him "vile".
He said: "We had Yasmin, Toni, Shakira - I had my run-ins with them. The thing is, it was all such silly things as well.
"Not using it as an excuse, but feelings and emotions are just so heightened. It's the littlest things that can trigger you."
Ben continued: "For me, the way I went about it, I should've went about it so much more differently. The way I spoke, the language and stuff.
"It's not until I watched it back that you realise - obviously with certain situations in life, you have arguments.
"But you never see it back. You're never in a position where you can watch it back and see how you actually were.
"I think me actually watching it back especially, gave me like a real reality check of, 'I don't like how I spoke',
Elsewhere, the pair also addressed the future of their blossoming new relationship.
Andrada said they were "taking it easy" and it was still "very early days."

She added: "We're just taking it day by day and getting to know each other more and more."
Ben entered the ITV2 villa on Day 1, where he was initially coupled up with Shakira.
However, bombshell Toni arrived as the first big twist and "stole" the hunk away.
He would ultimately later recouple with Shakira - and also explored connections with Yasmin and Helena.
By Casa Amor, he and Shakira had recoupled again but had no romantic spark between them.
Upon meeting the new girls, Ben and Andrada soon hit off and began their connection.
They were coupled up in the main villa, before ultimately being dumped from the island.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.

Love Island is like Hunger Games…I'm 30 & still never had boyfriend – here's reason I blame show, says Olivia Hawkins
LOVE Island 'villain' Olivia Hawkins has compared her two stints on the show to The Hunger Games – and admits they led to her 'losing herself'. The 30-year-old says fellas never ask her out after she was first painted as a troublemaker in the villa in 2023 — then again during her return for this year's All Stars version. 6 6 6 In fact, the beauty, who has been an actress and a ring girl, claims she has never had a proper 'boyfriend'. In an exclusive chat with the Sun on Sunday, Olivia said the telly dating contest reminds her of the brutal fight for survival in dystopian movie series The Hunger Games because 'you never know when you're going to be dumped'. She explains: 'It can feel competitive with everyone the same age, feeling like you're at risk of being dumped. "I find dating hard because the majority of people I meet have watched Love Island, or know of my character on the show. It's hard not to be prejudged. 'I was the villain of the villa. They just saw me as a fiery character. Now I get told I'm quite intimidating. Men don't approach me because they think I won't be responsive. 'But that's a misconception. I'm the most approachable person ever. Men think I'll be hard work, and of course I like the finer things in life, but I provide that for myself.' Recalling how the programme affected her, Olivia adds: 'After Love Island, I got to a point where maybe I just lost myself a bit. "You've been painted as this one person, and then it's almost like a persona that you think, 'Oh, that's obviously not me, but do I have to keep that up?'.' The Brighton -born beauty, who starred in James Bond film No Time To Die with Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas, is now taking part in another TV show, Celebs Go Dating, in search of romance. During her first Love Island appearance, she coupled up with Will Young, Haris Namani and Kai Fagan, but was accused of being hypocritical and instigating toxic antics that made at least one of the lads cry. "She slated the boys who kissed new women behind their original partner's back, despite female friends also doing that. And when she took part in All Stars, she was branded a troublemaker again for seemingly trying to split Luca Bish and Grace Jackson. Despite dating a string of hunks — including EastEnders star Max Bowden, who plays Ben Mitchell, and fellow islander Jack Fowler — she feels her reputation has put men off committing to her and hopes that will soon change with Celebs Go Dating. She says: 'All I want is a partner to be there for me and be my soulmate, and to have a shoulder to lean on. I'd just love someone to take me for being me and get to know the person away from the screen. 'I felt like I really had to try and prove everyone wrong or show a different side to me. 'But really, I needed to just put myself first, and as long as I'm happy with myself, that's all that matters. 6 6 6 'My romantic life has been a real journey, a rollercoaster. I've never been in a relationship. Throughout my twenties, I really settled for the bare minimum and I didn't, I guess, realise my worth. 'I'm now finally at that place where I just don't want to settle for any less. I don't need to put up with a d**khead. 'I know what I bring to the table, so if someone else can't match that, then my time is so precious, as is theirs . . . I don't want to waste my time on anyone.' Olivia will put her romantic fate in the hands of matchmakers Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson on Celebs Go Dating, which kicks off on E4 on August 11. She will be joined on the show by singletons Kerry Katona, Christine McGuinness, S Club 7's Jon Lee and The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett. They will be paired with non-celebrity strangers the TV experts believe could be perfect for them — and fans will see the couples then go on a string of dates. After the brutality of Love Island, Olivia says she is enjoying the process. She explains: 'On Celebs, you're never dumped unless you do something really bad! 'Sod the haters' 'That is the nicest part about it. I have full control and I'm not competing with anyone. 'But also, it's in my hands to make sure I'm making the right decision for myself. And I really do feel like I put myself first on this series.' Olivia insists she knows what she wants in a man, revealing. 'At this stage in my life, looks only go so far. 'I've met some absolutely gorgeous men and it just hasn't been there because the personality wasn't there to match. Sometimes, guys can be so attractive and that's all they rely on, and that makes them unattractive. 'I definitely wouldn't say looks are the be all and end all. I don't want to get to 90 and think, 'Oh, the only reason I went for him was because he was 6ft 5ins and so good-looking'. 'I want to be like, 'Haven't we had the best life? We've laughed so much'. 'I need banter. I can't have someone super-sensitive, because I am quite sarcastic. So someone that can give it back to me — that's playful — and I really wanted someone communicative and considerate.' Revealing her dating priorities, Olivia says: 'I need someone that's family orientated. I can't compromise on that.' The Celebs Go Dating stars got a baptism of fire on the new series with a singles night straight away, where they had to pick a match to take on a sun-kissed trip to Ibiza. And despite spending weeks on national TV wearing just a bikini, Olivia says she was more nervous walking into that party — or a 'mixer', as it is called on the show — than she was entering the villa. 'I've never been so nervous,' she admits. 'I know it's ridiculous, but because this was more focused on me and my journey, it's different.' Olivia hopes that by showing her vulnerability, fans will finally see a different side to her. And if they don't, she is past caring. She says with a laugh: 'Sod the haters. They're always going to be there. I don't worry about other people's opinions. I just live life and be happy.'

Love Island star slams Shakira for ‘f* up' comment to Harry saying ‘you can't say that'
A FORMER Love Island star has slammed Shakira Khan for her 'f***** up' comment to Harry, saying 'you can't say that.' Josh Ritchie, 31, rose to fame on the hit dating show in 2015 and more recently appeared on All Stars, where he met now girlfriend Sophie Piper. 4 4 4 And the former builder is clearly engrossed in the current series of the show, and shares his thoughts on the scenes and Islanders on his socials. In a recent update, Josh disagreed with something Shakira said, while she was sitting on the stairs with Harry. The 22-year-old from Burnley insinuated that she wouldn't even be able to go to supermarket Aldi after the show, hinting towards her newfound fame. And Josh was quick to tell fans: 'She can't say that.' Speaking to his camera, the star said: 'Shakira has not just said 'I wonder what life is going to be like after, I can't even go to Aldi.' 'It's not the fact that of shopping at Aldi because I actually don't mind that - I've shopped there a few times. 'But it's the fact that she thinks that she's going to be famous. You can't say that, the fact that you think you're going to be mega famous.' Looking unimpressed, Josh covered his head with a blanket while saying: 'Oh God.' He went on: 'That is f***** up, that. Wow.' It's been nothing short of a turbulent week for Shakira on Love Island, and The Sun revealed that she threatened to quit the show as a result. She had a meltdown in the beach hut after ending her blossoming relationship with Conor over fears she'd never get over Harry. The Sun can reveal Shakira was so upset by the situation, she went to seek support from the 24/7 duty of care team and asked to leave. Bosses were able to help her through the turmoil over a number of hours and she made the decision to stay. The meltdown happened after she ended things with the Irish rugby lad. A source said: 'Shakira has been through the wringer and was already at breaking point over her heartbreak by Harry. 'When Harry made it exclusive with Helena, everything unravelled and she realised she wasn't ready to be with Conor properly. 'She did the brave thing by ending that, but then the floodgates opened and she just didn't want to be in the villa anymore. 'She went to the beach hut and asked to leave the villa. 'The duty of care team were able to help her through her emotions and she decided to stay.' 4

Love Island star Shakira tells co-stars ‘shut the f*** up' and makes honest confession about feelings for Harry
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island's Shakira Khan told her co-stars to 'shut the f**** up' during an explosive row over Harry Cooksley. Tensions erupted last night as Shakira, 22, fumed at her fellow Islanders during a heated conversation. She said: 'You guys single people out and you make them feel bad about themselves. "And then when I called you out about it on the fire pit, you looked at me like I was crazy. Look at the way you made her feel.' Harry replied, 'We listened to you and heard you out,' but Toni pushed back: 'You do the same exact thing on a larger scale.' Dejon tried to calm things down, saying: 'We don't need to shout and scream and be troubled. Let's just have a conversation.' Conor also weighed in, adding: 'The better thing to do would be to say that to me if we're such good friends.' Harry later admitted fault, saying: 'Looking back, we should have done that, yeah, 100%.' Dejon agreed, adding: 'Of course we should have said that to you, man.' Shakira then addressed speculation about her feelings for Harry, making it clear that she had no intention of rekindling their relationship. 'Never at one point here in this whole experience has anyone come back me up after I've ended things with Harry,' she said. 'Have I ever said I want to get back with Harry?' Love Island fans praise Megan as she calls out Harry for his actions in brutal speech When Harry confirmed she hadn't, Shakira replied: 'Yeah, exactly. So everyone can shut the f*** up about it.' This year's edition of the ITV2 dating show has seen a long-running divide between the girls in the villa. For the most part it has mostly consisted of close pals Toni, Shakira and Yasmin against Meg, Helena, and Megan. Whilst the feud has been clear to see and has been hinted at many times in the villa, it was only during The Grafties that all six girls were forced to confront the issues head on. It came as Toni and Shakira collected the award for Best Double Act but fans were quick to slam this decision ahead of the series finale in just over a week's time. In the scenes, the group saw a video of Toni and Shakira expressing their disdain for Meg after a number of clashes with the star. They also took issue with Helena and for her close bond with Meg. As Meg pleaded that she was the same to the pair in front of their face, Toni insisted she was not as the divide was soon addressed. Yasmin quickly jumped in to insist there had been a "divide" from the start as many of the Islanders appeared to nod in agreement. Toni stated that the divide came from Meg, Helena and Dejon not being "warm and welcoming" and for going off on their own and leaving others out of their conversations - namely her, Shakira and Yasmin. It's not the first time fans have grumbled at show bosses by claiming the editing is "rigged" to portray Shakira and Toni negatively despite them being the ones who appear to have been isolated by Meg and Helena. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
