BBC iPlayer hosts the legendary anime series which began back in 1997 and has spawned over 1000 episodes so far BBC iPlayer is home of the iconic anime series One Piece, which debuted in Japan back in 1999. Overall, the show has a colossal 1139 episodes, and 1088 of them are available to stream for free on the platform. One Piece, spanning over twenty years of storytelling, is recognised amongst the finest anime series in history. Recently, One Piece fans were left 'so hyped' as Netflix dropped the season 2 trailer of their live-action version. The story chronicles the escapades of Monkey D Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates crew, who undertake exhilarating quests across perilous waters while pursuing a legendary treasure. Beyond its tremendous achievements in manga and anime formats, One Piece has also had a Netflix live-action adaptation featuring Inaki Godoy as Luffy, which soon got approved for a second season. Filming for popular TV show to take place in Glasgow
Scots Gregor Fisher, 71, and Greg McHugh, 45, have started filming the second series of their 'funny and touching sitcom', Only Child. The BBC revealed that filming will take place in Scotland this week. The six-part series, which is produced by Happy Tramp North for BBC Comedy, BBC Scotland, and BBC iPlayer, will be shooting in Glasgow and locations in Paisley, Helensburgh and Dunlop. Gregor Fisher (Rab C Nesbitt, Love Actually) and Greg McHugh (The A Word, Fresh Meat, Gary Tank Commander, Guilt) return as squabbling father and son duo, Ken and Richard Pritchard. Teasing what the second series will be about, the broadcaster said it will see the chaotic Pritchard clan return for more adventures as Richard and Ken bicker through everything from driving lessons and explaining what a QR code is to buying your own coffin. Meanwhile, several new cast members will be welcomed to the programme, including Clive Russell (Department Q and Game of Thrones); Jenny Galloway (Fleabag and Ballet Shoes); Kevin Bishop (Strike, The Kevin Bishop Show); and Tam Dean Burn (Shadow & Bone, Trust Me 2).
