Big Brother stars married 16 years with four kids are show's only remaining couple
Big Brother's latest series is just around the corner, marking 25 years since it first aired on Channel 5. The show, which returned to screens in 2023 after a five year break, has seen a number of relationships form as a result of the programme throughout the years.
However, only one couple after many years of Big Brother still remain together. Mikey Dalton and Grace Adams-Short met on the show 19 years ago, and are still together to this day. The couple starred in the iconic seventh series of the fly on the wall reality show alongside the late stars, Nikki Grahame and Pete Burns.
Mikey and Grace quickly fell head over heels in the chaotic house with the pair getting engaged just four months after leaving the show. They tied the knot in 2009, and are now parents to four children.
Their first child, Georgina, was born in 2012 and they welcomed their first son Stephen three years later, the Mirror reports.
They are also parents to six-year-old Allegra, and son Atticus who they welcomed in 2022.
Mikey and Grace often speak about how they hope to show their kids their series of Big Brother one day so they can see where their parents met and fell in love.
During an interview with This Morning in 2023, Grace said: "I didn't have any idea that I was going to meet my life partner, my husband, absolutely not. We just thought it was going to be a fun summer. I was 20 years old, it was kind of like a gap year!'
While it wasn't love at first sight for Mikey, it was definitely lust at first sight as he later admitted. 'I was lusting after her, I still remember the outfit you wore going in and the boots and everything. I was lovestruck when I seen her!'
Speaking about their fast engagement to local Plymouth newspaper, The Herald at the time of their nuptials, 23-year-old Grace said: "We got engaged after four months, which may sound quick but we got to know each other so fast on the show, so it felt right for us."
One of the most recent Big Brother romances came in 2023 when Jordan Sangha and Henry Southern fell in love.
Fans had been rooting for the pair to get together in the house but were left absolutely gutted when they revealed they had separated earlier this year.
Taking to Instagram to release a statement, Henry wrote: "After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. "It's incredible sad, and we're both hurting, but we know it's the right step.
"We're so grateful for the love and support you've shown us - thank you." Henry added: "Please give us some space as we figure things out privately."
Jordan also shared his own statement as he sadly wrote: "An unfortunate announcement. After many times, memories, and precious experience, Henry and I have parted ways.

It's unclear when the couple split. However, with the duo spending time apart due to conflicting schedules in Ireland and London, it's thought this may have contributed to their break-up. The last time Cat referenced Patrick on her Instagram was in October 2023. At the time, she posted an unusual 90s-themed slideshow of the pair of them. She wrote: "Slightly terrifying but obsessed." And the last public event appearance for the pair came a month earlier. At the time, she also shared a post on her social media. It showed the duo smiling at the event as they got ready for the occasion and then sat in the crowd. Patrick was later seen in the clip being welcomed on stage.
