It's not often that deals like these happen, like these podiatrist-approved Dr. Scholl's walking sneakers marked down by 70 percent, and a set of compression packing cubes that'll save you some suitcase space under $20. You don't have to be a Prime member to shop the massive sale, but if you sign up for a 30-day free trial, you'll unlock exclusive subscriber-only prices, two-day shipping, and other perks.
Some of the most impressive Prime Day deals we've spotted are on luggage, including Away's Bigger Carry-on and medium checked luggage, both of which are on sale for the first time ever. Some of the best Samsonite luggage is also on sale, including the Freeform hardside 28-inch suitcase, which is marked down with an impressive $182 off.
It's not often that Away drops prices on luggage, and right now you can score this stylish 26-inch suitcase for less than $300. It has 360-degree spinning wheels to make navigating the airport easier, and a built-in TSA-approved lock that'll keep your belongings extra secure.
Whether you're walking through cobblestone streets in Europe or relaxing at a tropical resort in South America, these travel bags will keep your phone, wallet, and portable charger nearby. For 62 percent off, you can score Travelon's popular crossbody bag that has anti-theft features like lockable zippers and slash-resistant material. Pander's belt bag is less than $20, has a roomy interior, and an adjustable strap that you can wear across your chest, back, or waist.
Instead of bringing a small purse onto the airplane, use this travel backpack that counts as a personal item on most airlines, and can fit up to five outfits and two pairs of shoes, according to one Amazon shopper. Plus, the built-in USB port can connect to your portable charger, allowing you to instantly juice up your devices.
It's not often that Apple drops prices on its coveted devices, but Amazon Prime Day is one of the rare times it happens. I always grab an AirTag because they're so handy for tracking my checked luggage, wallet, and purse. Just slip it inside a pocket and you can keep track of your suitcase directly from your iPhone's 'Find My' app. Plus, Apple's AirPod Max headphones are less than $500 and have the brand's unique Spatial Audio that provides an immersive listening experience.
AirPods Pro 2 are compact enough to slip into a belt bag, purse, or pocket. The noise-cancelling technology blocks out distractions 'like magic,' and the audio quality is 'simply breathtaking,' according to one fan.
Some of the best travel accessories are marked down, like this two-in-one travel pillow that transforms into a blanket, so you can sleep more comfortably on the plane. And, if you're prone to overpacking, then you'll definitely want this portable luggage scale. It will instantly tell you how much your suitcase weighs, so there are no surprises at airport check-in.
Once summer hits, you won't see me without this mini fan in my purse (even when I'm not traveling). It folds down into a compact size that can easily slip into a backpack or belt bag. It has multiple speeds, so you can enjoy some relief from the heat, whether you're waiting in line at a theme park or are stuck on a train with broken air conditioning.
Even clothing to complete your travel outfits is on sale for Prime Day. That includes this summer-ready matching set that has a soft, stretchy material that's polished enough for winery tours, as well as a versatile maxi dress that can easily go from sightseeing all day to a nice dinner with just the switch of your shoes.
These best-selling pants are a must for practically any trip because they're lightweight, flowy, and can easily be dressed up with a blouse and jewelry. Plus, they have pockets, so you can carry your small essentials without having to lug around a bulky purse.
Some of the comfiest walking shoes are on massive sale, including these Dr. Scholl's sneakers that are 70 percent off and come in white so you can pair them with jeans, shorts, maxi skirts, and more. Oprah-loved brand Vionic also dropped prices on its stylish wedge sandals that will give you some extra height, and come with arch support for extra comfort.
For less than $50, you can score these Clarks flip-flops that have 'cloud-light' cushioning, according to the brand. One reviewer spent a week walking in Charleston and Savannah and only wore these shoes. They wrote that they're 'so comfortable you can wear [them] all day.'
Nature lovers will want to take advantage of Amazon Prime Day's massive deals on camping gear, including handy tools like LifeStraw's personal water filter. According to the brand, it never expires and can filter out nearly 100 percent of bacteria (including E. coli and Salmonella). If you're not a fan of sleeping on the ground when you're camping, then this air mattress will add some cushion to your slumber with its built-in pillow. The air pump takes as little as two minutes to inflate—and it's on sale for less than $50.
Whether you're a first-time camper or master of the woods, Coleman's Skydome tent promises to be a quick and easy setup. It can fit up to four people or a queen-sized air mattress, and can take less than five minutes to put together thanks to the pre-attached poles within the tent's structure.
Some of the most genius travel tech is being discounted for Prime Day, such as this hidden camera detector that uses infrared and laser technology to scan a room, and alerts you to any unseen cameras. My personal favorite portable speaker is on sale for less than $100, and comes with a sleek, display-worthy design as well as crisp acoustics that sound almost like you're hearing the music live.
One of my biggest fears is forgetting to pack my earbuds after checking out of a hotel, which is why this foldable charging station is so handy. It only uses one outlet and has three different pads that'll juice up your Apple devices and keep them all together—that way, your chances of leaving your iPhone, AirPods, or Apple Watch behind are minimal.

XAI Madison Equity Premium Income Fund Declares its Monthly Distribution of $0.060 per Share
CHICAGO, Aug. 01, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- XAI Madison Equity Premium Income Fund (the 'Fund'), has declared its regular monthly distribution of $0.060 per share on the Fund's common shares (NYSE: MCN) payable on September 2, 2025. The amount represents no change from the previous month's distribution amount. As mentioned in previous distribution declarations, the Fund has changed its distribution frequency from quarterly to monthly, which went into effect with the April 1, 2025 declaration. XA Investments believes this change enables investors to better manage their cash flow needs. Ex-Dividend Date August 15, 2025 Record Date August 15, 2025 Payable Date September 2, 2025 Amount $0.060 per share Change from Previous Month No Change The following dates apply to the declaration: Common share distributions may be paid from net investment income (regular interest and dividends), capital gains and/or a return of capital. The specific tax characteristics of the distributions will be reported to the Fund's common shareholders on Form 1099 after the end of the 2025 calendar year. Shareholders should not assume that the source of a distribution from the Fund is net income or profit. For further information regarding the Fund's distributions, please visit . The Fund's net investment income and capital gain can vary significantly over time; however, the Fund seeks to maintain more stable common share quarterly distributions over time. The Fund's final taxable income for the current fiscal year will not be known until the Fund's tax returns are filed. As a registered investment company, the Fund is subject to a 4% excise tax that is imposed if the Fund does not distribute to common shareholders by the end of any calendar year at least the sum of (i) 98% of its ordinary income (not taking into account any capital gain or loss) for the calendar year and (ii) 98.2% of its capital gain in excess of its capital loss (adjusted for certain ordinary losses) for a one-year period generally ending on December 31 of the calendar year (unless an election is made to use the Fund's fiscal year). In certain circumstances, the Fund may elect to retain income or capital gain to the extent that the Board of Trustees, in consultation with Fund management, determines it to be in the interest of shareholders to do so. The common share distributions paid by the Fund for any particular period may be more than the amount of net investment income from that period. As a result, all or a portion of a distribution may be a return of capital, which is in effect a partial return of the amount a common shareholder invested in the Fund, up to the amount of the common shareholder's tax basis in their common shares, which would reduce such tax basis. Although a return of capital may not be taxable, it will generally increase the common shareholder's potential gain, or reduce the common shareholder's potential loss, on any subsequent sale or other disposition of common shares. Future common share distributions will be made if and when declared by the Fund's Board of Trustees, after the evaluation of several factors, including the Fund's net investment income, financial performance and available cash. There can be no assurance that the amount or timing of common share distributions in the future will be equal or similar to that described herein or that the Board of Trustees will not decide to suspend or discontinue the payment of common share distributions in the future. The Fund's objective is to achieve a high level of current income and current capital gains, with long-term capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The Fund intends to pursue its objective by investing in a portfolio of common stocks and utilizing an option strategy, primarily by writing (selling) covered call options on a substantial portion of the common stocks in the portfolio in order to generate current income and gains from option writing premiums and, to a lesser extent, from dividends. Market action can impact dividend issuance as the Fund's total assets affect the Fund's future dividend prospects. The Fund provides additional information on its website at .
