MasterClass deal: Get up to 40 percent off for Memorial Day
Memorial Day sales are in full swing, bringing discounts to headphones, vacuums, smart home gear and even some subscription services. One of the latter is on MasterClass memberships, which are up to 40 percent off for the holiday. From May 22 to 26, you can sign up for one year for as low was $72. Just make sure to subscribe before the end of Memorial Day itself to take advantage of the discount.
When you take a MasterClass course, one of the world's top experts guides you through a series of videos on how to approach their craft. The Memorial Day deal drops the cost of a Standard subscription to $6 per month when billed annually, which comes out to $72 in total. That gives you access to more than 200 courses for a year, though you can only watch them on a device connected to the internet. It makes an excellent gift for someone you love — or for yourself.
MasterClass is also discounting its higher tiers for Memorial Day. With a Plus subscription, you can watch MasterClass courses on two devices at once, and download them to watch offline whenever you want. A Premium subscription boosts the number of devices to six. The latter also includes access to MasterClass On Call, which lets you chat with AI recreations of MasterClass experts (Although, as our review notes, that feature still needs a bit of polishing.)
After you've wowed your friends and family with your new grilling skills, MasterClass has plenty of other lessons that you can explore to continue your education. Creative writers can check out the BBC Maestro course that "resurrects" Agatha Christie, using her notes, an actress and AI rendering to teach the art of crafting a killer mystery. The platform also just launched a 20-episode series on healthy skin, featuring a panel of accredited dermatologists and cosmeticians.

Kenvue Leads S&P 500 Decliners as CEO Points to Seasonal Demand Challenges
Shares of Kenvue (KVUE) led S&P 500 decliners Tuesday after the consumer health giant's chief executive indicated the firm faces seasonal demand challenges. Speaking at Deutsche Bank's dbAccess Global Consumer Conference, Kenvue CEO Thibaut Mongon highlighted the importance of seasonality for its allergy products, like Benadryl and Zyrtec. "We saw a longer winter, so winter pushed spring into later in Q2," Mongon said, according to a transcript provided by AlphaSense. "So we see that on allergy where we saw a later start to the season, and so far, it's below last year." Mongon also noted similar seasonal troubles for its sun protection brands, like Neutrogena and Aveeno. "In sun, we see more or less the same. Late start to the season year-to-date behind last year, but the season has not really started for recreational sun, and Memorial Day weekend was just a few days ago," Mongon said. "It was not great, as you and I could see. But, again, we are just at the beginning of the season. So it's too early to read the season. It will certainly impact Q2." Kenvue shares were down more than 7% in recent trading. With today's sharp declines, the stock's year-to-date gains stand at less than 3%. Similar to the 2002 animated film, "Lilo & Stitch" follows the adventures of a lonely Hawaiian orphan named Lilo as she meets and bonds with Stitch, a dog-like alien who's best known for wreaking havoc on the tropical paradise. See review: New 'Lilo & Stitch' falls short of first film's unhinged brilliance However, there are some major differences from the original, according to USA TODAY. For starters, Nani's character is expanded: Once a star student and athlete, she has now shelved her college dreams of studying marine biology so that she can work and raise Lilo. In the original movie, Jumba (Zach Galifianakis) and Pleakley (Billy Magnussen) don a variety of disguises – glasses, sunhats, dresses ‒ as they covertly track down Stitch, but now the characters assume human form when they arrive on Earth. Some characters have been removed, such as the alien antagonist Gantu. Cobra Bubbles is also only a federal agent in this version and the social worker named Mrs. Kekoa is added. Lastly, the ending is mostly different with a chaotic spacecraft crash and Nani ultimately giving up custody of Lilo to their neighbor, Tūtū, to attend college in California. Oh, and Pudge (the fish that controls the weather, according to Lilo) doesn't eat peanut butter sandwiches. Instead, it's lettuce and tomato sandwiches. The movie is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and stars: Maia Kealoha as Lilo Chris Sanders as Stitch (who also voiced the original Stitch) Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa Zach Galifianakis as Jumba Billy Magnussen as Pleakley Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles Hannah Waddingham as Grand Councilwoman Yes! Walt Disney World guests can meet their favorite alien at Magic Kingdom during the nightly DJ dance party at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. USA TODAY contributed to this report. Trump slams Paul for voting ‘NO on everything,' lacking ‘constructive ideas'
President Trump slammed conservative Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday for pledging to vote against his 'big, beautiful bill', accusing the Kentucky lawmaker of voting 'NO on everything' and 'never' having 'practical or constructive ideas.' Paul said he could vote for the 1,116-page budget reconciliation bill that passed out of the House last month if it didn't include language to raise the federal debt ceiling by $4 trillion. Paul's comments sparked Trump to fire back on social media, accusing Paul of having 'crazy' ideas. 'Rand votes NO on everything, but never has any practical or constructive ideas. His ideas are actually crazy (losers!). The people of Kentucky can't stand him. This is a BIG GROWTH BILL!' Trump posted on Truth Social, his social media platform. In a separate post, Trump declared Paul has 'very little understanding' of the bill and doesn't grasp 'the tremendous GROWTH' it would unleash from the economy. 'Rand Paul has very little understanding of the BBB, especially the tremendous GROWTH that is coming. He loves voting 'NO' on everything, the thinks it's good politics but it's not,' Trump wrote. 'The BBB is a big WINNER!!' he wrote. Paul says he can't vote for Trump's bill because he is fundamentally opposed to heaping several more trillion dollars onto the national debt over the next two years. He told CBS's 'Face the Nation' on Sunday that 'the math doesn't really add up' on the cost of Trump's bill. 'I think they're asking for too much money,' he said. Paul warned before the Memorial Day recess that 'the anticipated deficits per year now will be $2 trillion a year for the next two years.' He said that Republicans are going to shoulder the blame for huge future federal deficits if they vote to raise the debt ceiling by another $4 trillion or $5 trillion to give the federal government enough room to finance its spending and debt obligations past the 2026 midterm election. 'I think the problem for conservatives is they lose their high moral ground. These will be their deficits,' he said. 'These will be GOP spending bills, GOP deficits and there is no change in the direction of the country.' Paul said the spending cuts in what Trump calls his big, beautiful bill 'wimpy.' 'They got a $300 billion increase in spending for the military and the border,' he said. 'We don't need another $46 billion for a [border] wall,' Paul said. 'There's nothing conservative about this.'
