The-mum-of-two, who won season three of the hit BBC One show alongside Jake Brown, joined thousands of people for the event at Liverpool's Sefton Park on July 25.
She took part alongside her fiancée Sophie Jones, who was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in July 2024.
Sophie was later given the all clear from cancer in January of this year.
Leanne, who spent 12 years in the army before starring on The Traitors, said: 'It felt like our world came crashing down when Sophie was diagnosed with cancer. It was incredibly hard watching the person I loved most in the world going through so much.
"Race for Life is close to my heart, and it was wonderful to be able to take part in Pretty Muddy with Sophie by my side as well as our family and friends."
Leanne added: "It was an amazing fun experience – there's no atmosphere quite like it and it's so motivating to know that we were there to help make a difference to so many people's lives through the money raised for Cancer Research UK.'
On March 5 this year at Glan Clwyd hospital, Sophie rang the bell to mark the end of treatment surrounded by her loved ones. She is now in remission.
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, in partnership with headline sponsor Standard Life, part of Phoenix Group, is an inspiring series of 3k, 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy Kids events which raise millions of pounds every year to help beat cancer by funding crucial research.
Ruth Amies, Cancer Research UK's spokesperson in Wales, said: 'We are so grateful to Leanne and Sophie for taking part in Pretty Muddy.
'It was a fantastic weekend, full of emotion, courage, tears, laughter and hope as people celebrated the lives of those dear to them who have survived cancer and remembered loved ones lost to the disease. Every donation, every pound raised will make a real difference.
'Sadly nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime but all of us can support the research that will beat it. We're proud that Race for Life has had such a positive impact. Every pound raised supports our life-saving work, which has helped double cancer survival in the UK over the last 50 years.'

Danny Dyer's earnings 'unveiled' after being 'skint' before landing EastEnders role
Danny Dyer has earned a huge fortune thanks to his work in TV and film, but the actor has been honest about his financial woes in the past Danny Dyer 's impressive earnings have reportedly been disclosed, following a series of successful roles in popular shows over the past year. The 48 year old star, known for his performances in Mean Machine and Football Factory, has been candid about his financial struggles in the past, confessing he hit a rough patch before securing his role on EastEnders. Danny was cast as Mick Carter in the BBC One soap in 2013 and remained a regular in Walford until 2022, when his character mysteriously disappeared at sea. Since leaving EastEnders, Danny has secured a number of acting roles. He's starred in ITV 's Rivals and Sky's Mr. Bigstuff, which earned him a BAFTA for his performance. Thanks to this success, Danny's amassed a substantial fortune, with accounts filed at Companies House revealing that his company, Arty Bucco, made £1.4 million in the last financial year, reports OK!. These figures show Danny has made an impressive £712,221 more than the previous year, according to MailOnline. In addition to his acting income, Danny's also earned money from hosting shows such as The Wall and Scared of the Dark. He's also appeared in documentaries like Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family and participated in shows such as Celebrity Gogglebox and The Assembly. However, Danny's wealth hasn't always been so vast, with the actor admitting he was struggling financially before landing his role in EastEnders in 2013. Previously speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, Danny admitted: "I didn't have an audition, they rung me up, I had a touch. They said, 'Listen we want you to come in the show, take over the Queen Vic' and at the time I was skint and I just had about enough petrol money to get there, that's the truth. "They thought I was a multimillionaire and I met them in the hotel and I walked in absolutely skint, not a bean about me. I thought, I hope they don't ask me to get them a lager because I've got no dough." He confessed that he attempted to "play down" his enthusiasm at being offered the part, as he didn't want to "look desperate" in front of BBC executives. He added: "I went, 'I'll think about it' and then I walked out and I did a couple of backflips on the way out! I played it right down, I didn't want to look desperate and I was desperate."

Destination X - How to play along at home with BBC One show
Destination X has kicked off on BBC One, with Rob Brydon dropping a cast of strangers in various places all over the world - and challenging them to work out where they are BBC One's brand new reality competition Destination X kicked off this week, with 13 strangers hoping to win £100,000 by correctly guessing where in the world they've been plonked. Hosted by Rob Brydon, the series takes its adventurous cast to a different location each episode, where they must use the show's cryptic clues to work out where they are. Whoever's guess is the furthest away from the actual destination is kicked off the show RV, while the others get even closer to that jackpot prize. Fans have been gripped by Destination X since it aired on Wednesday night, with many left gobsmacked by one challenge that required one contestant to abseil out of a gondola that was up 2,000 metres in the air in the Swiss mountains. Those watching at home can also play along with the contestants from the comfort of their sofas thanks to the BBC's brand new website. It comes after Strictly's Anton Du Beke shared heartbreak over wife's 'cruel and inexplicable' diagnosis. If you would like to know how you can guess along with the Destination X contestants, here's everything you need to know. How play Destination X at home To play along with Destination X at home and have a go at guessing where the contestants are, all you need to do is head to the BBC's Destination X website. You will be required to log into your BBC account or set up one to do so, but once you're in, you can choose an episode to play along with. In order to narrow down your guessing area, you can answer five trivia questions - if you answer them correctly, the map will become smaller, giving you a better chance of choosing the right location. You can always play the 'Where Am I?' game, where you're dropped into the Google StreetView of a random location and must guess within a five kilometre radius of the place. When you're ready, you can place your X on the map and once the episode has aired, the website will reveal whether you were correct or not. For every right answer you get - within 50km of the destination - you earn a virtual badge that you can share with your friends. So far in the competition, we've seen five contestants be brutally cut from the competition - with three being booted from the show before even leaving the airport for the first destination.

The 'worst TV show of all time' returns to BBC One tonight
How are you planning on spending your evening? Going out with friends? Watching a movie? Well, whatever you do, you may want to avoid BBC One. That may sound dramatic, but one of the most divisive TV series of all time returns tonight after a two-year break from our screens. So what's the show? Well, it's Mrs Brown's Boys, of course, a comedy series so reviled by some that they've branded it 'the worst TV show ever made'. Created by and starring Brendan O'Carroll, Mrs Brown follows the titular 'Agnes Brown,' an interfering old woman who can't help sticking her nose in her friends and family's business. The show's real schtick, though, is how 'informal' it is, with Carroll regularly breaking the fourth wall, chucking in improvised gags, and leaving in outtakes. If that sounds like your type of thing, then you can check it out for yourself by tuning into BBC One at 9:30 pm tonight. A quick warning, though, Mrs brown's Boys has not received good reviews. In fact, that's a bit of an understatement. The Irish Independent said of the first season that it's the type of show that 'makes you embarrassed to be Irish' while the Daily Record labelled it 'lazy, end-of-pier trash'. Meanwhile, Metro (that's us) wrote that the BBC should 'hang its head in shame' for broadcasting it. If you think critics have warmed to it since then, then you'd be mistaken. In a review of the season starting tonight, Pat Stacey of the Irish Independent claimed it feels like Brendan O'Carroll is 'taking the p*ss out of viewers' with how lazy the show is. Critics aren't the only ones to loathe Mrs Brown and her boys either. On a tweet celebrating the launch of the new fifth season, several people have made their displeasure known. @JohnThwaites10 askedwho the show is made for, adding 'I don't know anyone who enjoys watching this?'Kelvin @KelvinEHughes felt similarly, adding 'I don't know a single person who watches it, let alone enjoys it. How on earth does it keep getting recommissioned?' It was @SkylarSkye14 who was the most withering, however, when they declared it the 'worst show of all time'. Our Deputy TV editor Tom Percival shares his thoughts… I do not enjoy Mrs Brown's Boys. Now, I should caveat that by saying I've only ever seen one episode and D' Movie (don't ask), so maybe it gets better. Still, the broad humour, creaky gags and funny wigs just weren't for me, and I found it painfully that in mind, though, I don't really get the hate. There have been plenty of bad sitcoms over the years, and to my mind, Mrs Brown's Boys is no worse than the likes of Miranda, Not Going Out or Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Are these bad shows? Maybe ? Maybe not ? They just don't work for me, and I don't waste my energy thinking about things I don't enjoy. Honestly, I think moaning about Mrs Browns Boys is a bit like watching a bin fire and complaining about the smell. No one's forcing you to watch it… Despite the outburst of hate online, it's worth noting that Mrs Brown's Boys remains popular (That's why it keeps getting recommissioned @KelvinEHughes). At the height of its popularity, the show regularly brought in 9 million viewers an episode, and its 2013 Christmas special was watched by 11.52 million viewers. More Trending While its viewing figures have declined, its most recent Christmas special drew in 3,875,000 viewers, putting it ahead of the Masked Singer, Weakest Link, Bake Off and Channel 4's Big Fat Quiz Of The Year. It is also worth noting that it won a TV Choice Award for Best Comedy in 2024. This isn't an award given out by a body of critics or journalists either; it's voted on by the public, so clearly there are people out there who do enjoy it. People like Todd and Mark Wilson-Edwards, who wrote in their Google review, 'This show is one of the best that I have seen in a long time! As screwed up as the world is right now, it is nice to slip away into Mrs Brown's Boys world, where I can laugh until I cry!' View More » Mrs Brown's Boys returns tonight on BBC One at 9:30 pm.
