The Ministry of Education announced on Monday the schedule for the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) exams for 2025 for 12th-grade students.
According to the statement issued by the ministry, the exams will commence on Thursday, June 19, and conclude on Thursday, July 10.

Summer break begins for students across Jordan
Summer vacation officially began on Wednesday for students in both public and private schools across Jordan, following the conclusion of final exams for the second semester. According to the academic calendar issued by the Ministry of Education, 12th-grade students in public schools completed their exams on May 26, while private school students wrapped up theirs earlier, around June 15. The Ministry clarified that the official start of summer break for public schools is June 4, 2025. Private schools, however, began their holidays earlier following the end of exams for both secondary and basic education stages in mid-June. The break includes all grade levels except for Tawjihi (General Secondary Education Certificate) students, who continue preparations for their national exams. The holiday will last until the new academic year begins in August 2025. The Ministry added that teachers and administrative staff will complete exam grading and issue school certificates by the end of June. It encouraged students and parents to make the most of the summer break through educational and recreational activities that help develop skills and recharge energy.

It also emphasized that if any errors are found, students must submit a correction request through the designated section on the same page, no later than Tuesday evening.

The initiative is part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people and ensure that students can continue their education despite the challenging circumstances, particularly during the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip. According to Jarrar, users of the application can complete their school education by downloading materials for offline study. He commended the World Islamic Sciences and Education University for its role in creating content and producing lessons in its studios. The app covers the Palestinian curriculum from first to twelfth grade (Tawjihi) and provides students with a certificate approved by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and recognised in Jordan. He noted that over 100 Jordanian teachers contributed to the preparation and explanation of the educational materials. Jarrar added that the app ranks among the five most-viewed educational applications globally and includes interactive academic content, worksheets, questions and exercises, as well as specialised educational videos on topics such as psychological support, e-marketing, design, programming and first aid. He emphasised that the app meets the needs of students, supervisors and the Palestinian Ministry of Education for general secondary school exams, assisting in the implementation of the standards and instructions for these assessments.
