Woman and man dead after Mercedes and lorry crash in Norfolk
Emergency services rushed to Clenchwarton, Norfolk at 9.51am today after a Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 Sport Premium crashed with a white Volvo HGV.
The male driver and female passenger tragically died at the scene.
The A17 was closed at the Pullover Roundabout and remains closed now.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses following the crash.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Norfolk Police.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said: 'Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision at Clenchwarton today (Thursday 24 July 2025).
'The collision happened on the A17 at Clenchwarton at 9.51am this morning when a Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 Sport Premium collided with a white Volvo HGV.
'The road was closed at the Pullover Roundabout whilst emergency services attended the scene, including ambulance and fire.
'Sadly, the driver, a man and passenger, a woman, died at the scene.
'The road remains closed.
'Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting reference NC-24072025-114.'

A Quarter Of All Bentleys Feature Mulliner Content Bentley's continuous additions to the Mulliner division should come as no surprise, since one in four new Bentleys now feature Mulliner content of some kind. It's a demographic that takes great pride in creating a bespoke vehicle—and it helps when money is no object, too, while the rest of us mull over whether a $1,500 sunroof is worth it. Whether you prefer a luxury or sporty look, Mulliner has introduced new open pore wood veneers, high-gloss piano veneers to match the exterior or interior leather, and carbon fiber with a choice of four tints. It's the attention to detail that sets the Mulliner division apart. Take the open pore wood veneer, for instance, which has an ultra-thin matt lacquer. Since it has 90% less lacquer than high-gloss wood, the natural grain and texture of the wood can be fully appreciated. Woman dies and nine-year-old girl seriously injured after limousine and car collide
A woman has died and a nine-year-old girl is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a limousine and a car. Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident, with six other passengers across both vehicles also injured. The black Mercedes 220E limousine and black Citroen DS3 collided at a crossroad junction between Wellingborough Road and Broughton Road in Pytchley, near Kettering, at about 10.15pm on Tuesday, Northamptonshire Police said. The woman, in her 40s, who was a passenger in the Mercedes, died at the scene. The girl, also a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital, the force said. Another adult and three children who were travelling in the limousine and an adult and child passenger in the Citroen were taken to hospital with minor injuries. A 53-year-old man from Sandy, Bedfordshire, and a 22-year-old man from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, have been arrested and remain in police custody, the force said.
