Devoleena Bhattacharjee Enjoys ‘Me Time' As Shanawaz Shaikh Babysits Joy
Devoleena Bhattacharjee married her gym trainer, Shanawaz Shaikh, in December 2022.
Joy – the baby boy of Devoleena Bhattacharjee – has brought a wave of happiness into the couple's lives. Since his arrival, Devoleena has embraced every moment of motherhood. From watching her little munchkin grow and play to capturing his heart-melting smiles, she's soaking it all in.
Motherhood is undoubtedly a blessing. But what makes it even more special is the equal involvement of her husband, Shanawaz Shaikh, who is sharing every step of the parenting journey with her.
The couple welcomed their bundle of joy in December last year. Since then, they've delighted fans with glimpses of their happy family life through adorable photos and videos.
This time, however, instead of a cute family snap, the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress shared a playful reel of herself. In it, Devoleena is seen twirling joyfully down a hallway in a breezy pastel outfit, radiating a relaxed, carefree vibe. The reel's POV text sets the scene: 'POV – When Shaan is home & takes care of Joy."
She added a touch of humour in the caption: 'Me Time. PaPa ko kaam pe laga diya hai," followed by laughing and smiling emojis.
Watch the reel here:
The light-hearted reel offers a refreshing take on new parenthood. It's not just about enjoying a little 'me time," but also about shared responsibility, modern parenting, and maintaining one's individuality after stepping into motherhood.
Devoleena tied the knot with her gym trainer, Shanawaz Shaikh, in December 2022. Two years later, they stepped into a new chapter as parents, welcoming baby Joy on 18 December 2024.
Now six months old, Joy has already become the sunshine of their lives. Although the couple has not yet revealed their face, fans continue to flood their posts with love, heart emojis, and warm wishes.
On the work front, Devoleena was last seen in the popular TV show Chhathi Maiya Ki Bitiya, which she stepped away from during her pregnancy.
Now, buzz suggests that Devoleena and Shanawaz have been approached for Colors TV's upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga. The show is expected to explore the real-life dynamics of celebrity couples. However, there's been no official confirmation about their participation yet.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Mazel Vyas reacts to Supreme Court's ruling on stray dogs; says 'Most shelters are already overcrowded and underfunded'
Mazel Vyas , currently seen in the gripping action series Hunter 2 alongside Suniel Shetty who was also seen in Saath Nibhana Saathiya as Meera Modi and became famous has stepped into the spotlight for a cause close to her heart — the welfare of stray dogs. In light of the recent Supreme Court decision mandating the relocation of all stray dogs in Delhi to shelters, Mazel has expressed her concern over what she calls a 'deeply complex and emotional issue.' The ruling, which has sparked widespread debate, aims to address the growing number of incidents involving aggressive strays — some tragically resulting in harm to children. While the intention behind the move may be rooted in public safety, many animal lovers, activists, and citizens argue that the lack of infrastructure makes this decision unviable and potentially harmful. 'I understand the fear and anger when innocent lives are lost or harmed,' Mazel shares. 'But simply shifting all stray dogs to shelters without a long-term plan or basic facilities is not the answer. Most shelters are already overcrowded and underfunded. This could lead to even more suffering.' Mazel advocates for a more balanced and humane solution. 'Mass sterilization and vaccination drives should be the priority,' she says. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Local Summer Sale: 75% Off Installation in Tracy LeafFilter Gutter Protection Learn More Undo 'We also need to differentiate between aggressive dogs and those that coexist peacefully in neighborhoods. The truly aggressive ones can be rehabilitated or moved to secure environments, but not all strays deserve to be locked away.' She also emphasizes the role of communities in caring for street dogs. 'Many strays are fed and looked after by locals. Forcing them into shelters where conditions are often poor is unfair — both to the animals and the people who care for them.' The issue has indeed divided public opinion. While safety remains paramount, voices like Mazel's urge the government and courts to look beyond a blanket solution. A more compassionate, well-planned approach could protect both people and animals — without sacrificing one for the other. 'Pati Patni Aur Panga' turns reality around with patis bearing labour pain and a special AI wedding
This week, 'Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check' serves a steaming plate of dinnertainment that promises to leave viewers stuffed with laughter, shock, and emotion. Host Sonali Bendre sets the tone with a challenge that instantly tilts the power dynamic: for one day, the patis call the shots, and the wives must do exactly as they say. Cheers erupt, grins widen, and no one seizes the moment more gleefully than Gurmeet Choudhary , who finally gets to live out a long-held (and somewhat sinister) fantasy—snipping wife Debinna's nails. The audience chuckles, but Debinna's horror is palpable. Those nails, painstakingly grown over two years, meet the clippers in a moment every woman will cringe at. But if the men thought they'd have it easy, they're in for the shock of their lives. In a twist worthy of poetic justice, the patis are strapped with artificial baby bumps and plunged into a 'pregnancy simulation.' Suddenly, everyday tasks such as lifting, bending, walking become awkward. The laughter from the wives is infectious, but the true test lies ahead, enduring simulated labour pains through a device wired to the bump. And just when you think the episode has peaked, it delivers its most heartwarming moment. Sudesh and Mamta, married for 40 years, confess they have no video of their wedding. The show steps in with a jaw-dropping gift, using cutting-edge AI to recreate their shaadi in stunning detail. The set erupts in cheers as their youthful AI avatars of Sudesh and Mamta exchange garlands and take the seven pheras. But when the nostalgia fades and the final scores are tallied, whose grit, wit, and stamina will reign supreme in this epic battle?
