Inside Conor McGregor's wild Ibiza trip: How Irish fighter's outing spiralled out of control after party with Katie Price and Wayne Lineker led to a reveller being punched to the floor in infamous nightclub

Daily Mail5 hours ago

Conor McGregor 's thuggish attack on an Ibiza reveller in the early hours of Tuesday morning was as shocking as it is sad and familiar.
The UFC superstar's wild burst of aggression, seemingly out of nowhere, while partygoers at Pacha nightclub danced the night away, has gone viral painted a picture of a man completely out of control.
McGregor, 36, had been living it up for hours and enjoying himself with the likes of Katie Price and Wayne Lineker, with much of his bender captured by others and posted online.
In the afternoon on a cloudless day on the White Island, McGregor was first seen shirtless, trademark tattoos out and strutting into Ocean Beach.
Described as the ultimate day club experience and frequented by footballers and other celebrities on a regular basis, O Beach as it is known, was founded by Lineker back in 2012.
McGregor was seen puffing on a massive Cuban cigar, wearing a gold chain and white bucket hat along with £218 red Versace shorts.
The father of four appeared to be chaperoned by five security guards as other Ocean Beach partygoers turned their heads to look at him.
It was there that McGregor spent time with Lineker and Katie Price, posting a picture holding his fists up with the former and up close on the dance floor with the latter.
At this point in the afternoon, the MMA star appeared to have his wits about him but then seemed slightly more worse for wear on his next stop when the sun had gone down.
He crossed from the western side of the island to the south, a 26 minute drive to his next destination.
He was filmed dancing away in HI nightclub where there's a lavish VIP area called 'The Theatre'.
The ultra-modern venue is one long room, packed to the rafters and McGregor, shaved head gleaming under the lights was seen conducting the crowd with his arms.
He was smiling and appeared to be in high spirits. The caption on the clip appeared to confirm as much, reading: 'Notorious living his best life.'
McGregor was later filmed in a cordoned off section of the club, resting his backside on a bar and lifting his arms up slowly before posing for a photo in a muscle-man stance.
HI has a long room with a packed out dance floor and McGregor lapped up the atmosphere
HI nightclub has a relatively strict dress code but made an exception for their celebrity guest, who was still shirtless having seemingly come straight from Ocean Beach.
Usually, HI does not permit flip flops, swimwear or sports shirts with even more 'elevated expectations' in some VIP areas.
Once McGregor had had his fun in HI, he moved on to Pacha, where he would stay until the very early hours of the morning.
HI is around a 10 minute drive up the coast on the south side of the island from Pacha and it seems McGregor stopped off at some point to change.
Wearing tight white pants and a black and white shirt, he continued to party and remained steady on his feet despite the mammoth day.
But at 5:53, he was in conversation with a man before putting his arm around his shoulders and lashing out at him on the dance floor.
He spoke to the man for a few seconds before hitting him with his left hand while holding a glass of alcohol in his right.
McGregor hopped from HI to Pacha but changed clothes and refreshed
One party-goer told The Sun: 'Clearly something's been said to annoy him and he's reacted very badly.
'The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away.
'There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away and I didn't see him again.'
It was reminiscent of another alleged attack out of the blue that was claimed to have taken place by an Italian DJ back in 2021.
He revealed how a pleasant evening of drinking at a hotel with Conor McGregor ended with him being punched in the face.
Francesco Facchinetti said he had a broken nose and squashed vertebrae in his neck after the allegedly unprovoked attack by the MMA fighter at a party exclusive Regis Hotel in Rome four years ago.
Speaking exclusively to Mail Online at the time, a shaken Mr Fracchinetti said: 'One minute we were talking in a friendly manner and the next he just lashed out at me.
'We were having a drink together and everything seemed fine when suddenly he changed. I was a few inches from him when he punched me full in the face with his right hand.
'I went flying backwards and crashed into a table.
'I was stunned. There was a lot of blood, and my wife became hysterical and screaming. One of the bodyguards tried to calm her down and two people immediately jumped on McGregor and dragged him away.
'I could not believe that he had hit me. I must admit I was worried about what he would do next, but he was quickly taken away. Everyone was very shocked and upset. No one could not believe what he had done. It was just so unfair and uncalled for.' A spokesperson for McGregor did not respond for comment.
And in 2019, the former MMA fighter sucker-punched an elderly grey-haired man at his pub in Dublin after the customer declined a shot of McGregor's own-brand whiskey.
McGregor continues to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons and has never appeared further away from resuming his fighting career.
His last UFC contest was a defeat by Dustin Poirier in July 2021 and he has only won once inside the octagon in the last 11 years.
McGregor instead has been pictured partying in various destinations and spends time working on his various businesses, while also talking up his political aspirations - hoping to run for leader of Ireland on an anti-immigration agenda.
It remains to be seen whether his latest shocking incident will land him in hot water with the authorities in Ibiza or if the victim will come forward to press charges.

Love Island spoilers: Sparks fly at beer pong party filled with raunchy dares - and the girls get their revenge with ruthless game plan

Sparks will fly in the Love Island villa tonight at a beer pong party filled with raunchy dares - as the girls get their revenge with a ruthless game plan. The ITV2 dating show, presented by Maya Jama, returned to our screens on June 9, with a cast of new dating hopefuls hoping to find love in the Mallorcan sun. The twelfth series has already delivered explosive drama, from fiery arguments, to steamy nights, to ruthless recouplings. And the antics are set to continue tonight, with a game of beer pong that sees any Islander who successfully pots a ball do the dare written on the bottom of the cup. One of the cheeky challenges sees Conor kiss the Islanders he most wants a threesome with - Emily, who he coupled up with yesterday, and Megan. Meanwhile, Yasmin is asked to kiss who she thinks has the nicest lips and she chooses Dejon - not Shea, who she paired up with last night. Her brutal move sees Shea take a swipe back at her - when asked to shake hands with the Islander he thinks is playing the biggest game, he chooses her. He explains: 'Maybe she put it on me to try to stay in the villa, but I'm not sure.' And so when Yasmin is later dared to snog someone for 30 seconds continuously, it remains to be seen whether she will choose Shea, Dejon - or someone else entirely. Elsewhere in tonight's episode, keen viewers will find out who bombshell Harrison picks to couple up with, after he hit the villa last night. He has taken both Toni and Malisha on dates after they were left single and waiting at the fire pit following the recoupling in yesterday's episode. Whichever girl he picks will return with him - while the other will be dumped from the island. As the girls await the news of who he is bringing back with him, they plot revenge against the boys for their recent antics. For the first time in worldwide Love Island history, the girls watched the lads out on boys' night from a secret camera. The guys' hangout was soon interrupted by the arrival of bombshell girls Yasmin, Malisha and Emily. Unaware they were being watched, the boys spoke more frankly than the existing girls might have liked. They are not the only ones preparing for Harrison's arrival, with Dejon (left), Tommy and Harry (centre) discussing it too In tonight's episode, Helena says mischievously to Meg and Megan: 'Even if we don't think [Harrison] is fit, shall we be like, "Oh he's a bit of me"?' Meg agrees: 'All this game playing [the boys] have been doing.' They are not the only ones preparing for Harrison's arrival, with Dejon, Tommy and Harry discussing it too. Tommy wonders if Harrison will try to break up a strong couple - a prospect Dejon does not feel too bad about: 'To be honest, the more he does, the more leeway we've got to cause havoc!' Harry adds, somewhat brutally: 'If he goes and kisses Helena, I'm flying mate! That'd be so good, I didn't even think of that!' Harrison soon arrives with his final choice girl - but he starts getting to know the other ladies too. He pulls Shakira for a chat at the fire pit, while Dejon, Remell and her partner Ben watch. He asks her how things are going and she replies: 'It's been messy. Everyone's saying they're not closed off but everyone's acting like they're closed off.' Ben and Shakira (pictured) are left at loggerheads after their awkward conversation - and she later has some stern words for him about where her head is at The bombshell boy seems to agree entirely: 'Oh my God! Thank God you said that!' Ben later asks Shakira how the chat went, to which she says: 'It went well, he's a really nice boy.' That puts him off slightly: 'That chat was longer than any chat me and you have ever had... I don't know how to take that.' Ben and Shakira are left at loggerheads after their awkward conversation - and she later has some stern words for him about where her head is at. Meanwhile, Yasmin and Harry chat on the terrace, with her telling he is trouble, before he replies: 'I don't think it'd suit you, being real innocent and sweet.' She agrees: 'I can't be someone I'm not. I'm not going to sit here and be like, "Yeah, I'm the girl next door", when I'm like the f***ing devil.' He cheekily replies: 'I'd like to dance with the devil!' His partner Helena tries to listen in on their conversation from the garden - and it leaves her fuming: 'I knew she fancied him!' Meanwhile, Yasmin and Harry chat on the terrace (pictured), with her telling him he is trouble, before he replies: 'I don't think it'd suit you, being real innocent and sweet' This year's series has been one of the most dramatic in recent years, despite it only being early days in the villa This year's series has been one of the most dramatic in recent years, despite it only being early days in the villa. It means viewers are all saying the same thing - Casa Amor is going to be chaos. Taking to X, they penned: 'I can already see who's going to crash out during Casa Amor.'; 'These boys will be FERAL in Casa Amor.'; 'The mess this villa is going to be in when Casa Amor comes back.'; 'The state of the villa, Casa Amor is going to be incredible.'; 'Just imagine what the Casa Amor episodes are gonna give.'; 'I don't know, I feel like Conor will be the "respectful" boy until we hit Casa Amor.'

The former model, who recently explained she's almost bankrupt again, has been enjoying every aspect of the party island, including the huge nightclubs and stunning villas the resort has to offer. The former model turned TV personality, 47, has been documenting her wild trip with her followers on platforms including Instagram and Snapchat as she hit up the major clubs on the White Isle. So far, Katie has visited clubs including Pacha and Ocean Beach, where she was seen posing with Wayne Lineker. ‌ But while she's only been on the island a "couple of days", the star has certainly ensured she made the most of her trip and enjoyed a well-deserved girls' night with Geordie Shore stars Chloe Ferry and Abbie Holborn. But while most club-goers in Ibiza mingle amongst the sold-out crowds, Katie and her pals had the perfect spot – in a private booth alongside the DJ. ‌ In true Pricey style, the former model struck up a series of poses for her social media posts while enjoying the live music and atmosphere in the super club. Poking fun at her playful personality, Katie and Chloe created a viral social media video about their friendship, joking: "Maturity leaving our bodies when we see each other," as #thatPOWER by and Justin Bieber played in the background. The pair posed for a series of snaps with one another, showcasing their glistening tans from their lavish getaway. Katie looked sensational in a figure-hugging brown jumpsuit, which highlighted her slimmed-down physique. Her now signature glossy raven locks were scraped back into a high ponytail, showcasing her chiselled cheekbones. Her surgically enhanced breasts stood out in the tiny outfit, which left very little to the imagination as it revealed her huge torso tattoo. Meanwhile, reality star Chloe exuded glamour in a barely-there white lace outfit, which struggled to contain her own surgically enhanced breasts. Chloe posed up a storm in the lace number while wearing her caramel tresses in loose waves, cascading freely over her shoulder and down her chest. Katie, who has previously been declared bankrupt twice and was recently accused of not paying £12.5k worth of debts back a month ago, poked fun at her financial woes while enjoying her holiday. ‌ The glamour model and her friend headed out for an eye-wateringly expensive meal while on the island and it appears that she was in a playful mood. Documenting her trip, she said: "We came to slay!!! OMG, that spaghetti nearly bankrupted me again!" But while she's been enjoying herself, some fans have expressed their concern for Katie after she stripped down to a bikini as she enhanced her tan. Never one to shy away from showing off some skin, Katie showcased her slim waist in the bikini snap as she tied her black hair up in a messy bun and covered her makeup-free complexion with a pair of oversized sunglasses. But fans couldn't help but express their concern, with one writing: "Soo soo sad to see Katie like this.. I hope she goes and gets the help she needs.. she isn't well at all." Another said: "Katie you don't look well. I hope everything is okay. Please stop complimenting her." However, one fan disagreed with those airing concerns, as they responded: "Katie's fine people are so judgmental just chill she's happy enjoying her summer."
