Stride Green Raises USD 3.5 Mn Funding Led by Micelio
Stride Green has raised USD 3.5 million in a seed round led by Micelio Technology Fund and Incubate Fund Asia, along with other strategic investors.
The funding will be deployed to scale its tech-enabled asset financing and lifecycle management solutions for India's clean energy sectors, including electric mobility, battery storage, and renewable energy. It will also be used to expand the team and deepen technological capabilities.
Founded by Ishpreet Gandhi and Vivek Jain, Stride Green is a climate-tech platform offering end-to-end leasing, financing, and lifecycle management services for sustainable businesses. Its proprietary technology stack provides real-time analytics, operational alerts, and insights that enhance asset performance and longevity.
Currently, the Gurugram-based platform manages over 3,000 cleantech assets and partners with OEMs and logistics companies.
"At Stride Green, we're driven by deep domain expertise and a clear purpose to develop innovative and scalable solutions for the climate-tech ecosystem," said Vivek Jain, Co-Founder and CEO. Stride Green now aims for vertical and geographic expansion, positioning itself as a critical enabler in India's green economy transition.
Khari Foods Secures INR 3 Cr from Meri Punji IMF
Grahill Wellness, the parent company of Delhi-based clean-label brand Khari Foods has raised INR 3 crore in a seed round led by Meri Punji IMF Private Limited to scale its healthy snacking footprint nationwide.
The funds will be deployed toward product innovation, team expansion, R&D, and strengthening marketing and distribution across tier I and tier II cities.
Founded in 2022 by Yash (Co-Founder and CEO) and Sunil Bansal (Co-Founder and COO), Khari Foods offers palm oil-free, maida-free snacks enriched with fibre and micronutrients. Its diverse product line includes Ragi Crispies, Beetroot Crispies, Jowar Puffs, Snack Mixes, and Dates-based sweets—designed for health-conscious consumers aged 20–40 in urban and semi-urban markets.
"From day one, our focus has been on building a brand that delivers nutritious, flavourful snacks made for Indian tastes, without cutting corners," said Yash. "This INR 3 crore fundraise marks a pivotal moment for us, enabling faster growth and exciting new launches."
Backed by a state-of-the-art facility in Haryana, Khari Foods stands out with proprietary formulations and end-to-end supply chain control. The brand is projecting a 208% jump in annual revenue run rate this year, underlining its momentum in India's evolving healthy snacking segment.
The Tarzan Way Bags INR 2 Cr from Inflection Point Ventures and more
Noida-based AI-powered travel tech startup The Tarzan Way has secured INR 2 crore in seed funding, led by Inflection Point Ventures, with additional backing from Your Trips Limited (UK), Prateek Maheshwari (Founder, PhysicsWallah), and other angel investors.
The funds will be allocated towards product development (35%), operations (25%), marketing (20%), HR (15%), and miscellaneous needs (5%), including the launch of the startup's upcoming "Exploration App."
Founded in 2020 by Shikhar Chadha and Shivank Tripathi, The Tarzan Way empowers users to design hyper-personalised, authentic holidays in seconds using AI. The platform combines deep tech with a storytelling approach to deliver immersive itineraries, a smart booking engine, 24/7 live concierge, and one-click travel planning.
"Our passion lies in creating memories that last. We don't just plan trips; we help people craft stories that stay with them forever," said Shikhar Chadha, Co-founder.
Ankur Mittal, Co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures, added, "Tarzan Way bridges the gap between rigid travel plans and chaotic self-planning, offering travellers smart, tailored experiences."
With 300% YoY revenue growth, 70% MoM user growth, and INR 13.5 Cr in gross bookings, The Tarzan Way is quickly establishing itself as a global leader in experiential, tech-driven travel.

The world is set to invest nearly twice as much in clean energy as fossil fuels this year, according to a new International Energy Agency report. While fossil fuel outlays are still significant — about $1.15 trillion this year — they'll be dwarfed by clean energy, which is expected to receive $2.15 trillion in 2025. But the real takeaway is that the energy transition doesn't show signs of slowing. Plotting the two investments trends is revealing. Over the last decade, fossil fuel investment has been relatively steady, if declining slightly. There has been an uptick since a drop that coincided with the pandemic, but even that shows signs of softening this year. But clean energy investment follows a different path, a far more aggressively positive trend: The curve is up and to the right. Image Credits:Tim De Chant/TechCrunch For data nerds: A second-order polynomial fit to the fossil fuel investment does a reasonable job of explaining the variance (R2 = 0.74), suggesting the world might be extracting a bit more oil, coal, and gas in the near future. But the same type of equation applied to clean energy figures fits the data far better (R2 = 0.94). Unless the world takes a U-turn — something that hasn't happened in the 10 years the IEA has collected this data, pandemic included — expect bigger clean energy numbers next year. That's double this year's investment, which sounds like a lot. But analysts have previously issued overly cautious clean energy investment forecasts. The trend in the new IEA data suggests that the goal is within reach. Clean energy's exponential growth won't last forever; the trend is likely to taper off in the coming years, just like it did in the mid-2010s. But as I've written before, these sorts of fits and starts are not unusual, and adoption of new technologies is never continuous. Instead, it's influenced by global economic trends and the learning curve that companies face when incorporating them into their businesses. Ultimately, by 2050, I suspect average annual investment will probably meet or exceed the $4.5 trillion annual rate that the World Economic Forum calls for. Clean energy technologies are cheaper by the year, which makes them more accessible. Indeed, 85% of electricity demand growth in the next two years is going to come from developing and emerging economies, and while cheap coal has driven the narrative in many of those, solar and wind shouldn't be counted out. The wildcard, of course, is data centers. In the U.S., at least, utilities are confronting demand forecasts with enormous error bars. Those forecasts may fall short, but utilities tend to err on the side of caution, which means finding more power. Some will turn to gas turbines, others will bet on nuclear. But in the next few years — and likely over the long term — renewables paired with energy storage will have the upper hand. They're probable winners not just because they're getting cheaper, but because they're modular. They can be deployed at a range of scales and prices. It's easy for them to be everywhere, and that's something investors love to see.

China has approved temporary export licenses to rare-earth suppliers of the top US automakers, Reuters reported on Friday, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter. It's unclear what materials are covered by the licenses and at least some are valid for six months, Reuters said. China's restrictions on exports of rare earths, the dormant source of the materials, pose risks to global automakers' supply chains.

CLN KraneShares Asian equities ended a positive week mixed, led by India following a larger-than-expected rate cut (0.50% vs. 0.25%). South Korea was closed for Memorial Day, and Indonesia, Pakistan, and the Philippines were closed for Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, 'a festival to honor the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim to follow the command of Allah to sacrifice his son.' Hong Kong and Mainland China saw profit taking in recent growth and technology outperformers despite the Trump-Xi call, as some pointed to a lack of details, though President Trump confirmed the US would be represented by Bessent, Lutnick, and Greer at a yet-to-be-determined location. The markets had risen on the chatter of a call in another example of markets' forward-looking nature, i.e., buy the rumor and sell the news. Short-video platform Kuaishou Technology gained +8.44% as the company announced its Kling AI, an AI online video generator, will generate $100 million in revenue by February of 2026. E-commerce names, including Alibaba and which fell -1.44% and -1.45%, as several provinces, including Jiangsu and Chongqing, announced they had run out of home appliance subsidies to be used in the 618 (June 18) E-Commerce sales event. I suspect the issue will be resolved in short order. Electric vehicle (EV) stocks, including BYD, which fell -2.18%, Xiaomi, which fell -2.12%, Li Auto, which was flat, and XPeng, which fell -1.77%, were mostly lower on yesterday's news of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) price war warning. It seems like a positive to me! Value plays such as telecom and precious metals outperformed. Mainland investors bought the dip in Hong Kong, with $862 million worth of net buying via Southbound Stock Connect. Meituan saw another day of strong net inflow, as 13.54% of shares are now held by Mainland investors, up from only 11% earlier this year. I don't know what's driving Mainland investors' significant Meituan inflows, at 200 million shares bought, but it is interesting. Like Hong Kong, value stocks outperformed growth stocks in Shanghai and Shenzhen, as oil, precious metals, and aerospace stocks rallied. May's consumer price index (CPI) and producer price index (PPI) will be reported on Sunday. The US Treasury did not label China a currency manipulator, though it does highlight the strength of the Renminbi versus the US dollar, recently. CNY hit a low of 7.34 CNY per USD on April 9th following Liberation Day, though CNY has rallied to 7.18 (CNY is quoted USD per CNY, so a decline is appreciation versus the US dollar). More surprising is that Hong Kong and US-listed China stocks haven't rallied more due to the appreciation of the underlying businesses, as their revenues are denominated in Renminbi.
