Good Morning Britain had the pleasure of welcoming Josie Gibson on Thursday (7 August). She joined hosts Ranvir Singh and Ed Balls to discuss her latest television venture.
Josie, who is a familiar face on ITV's This Morning, has been immersed in filming her new show, Josie Gibson's Big Country Build. The programme follows her journey as she turns her Somerset property into an eco-friendly sanctuary with the assistance of her family.
GMB aired a sneak peek of the upcoming seven-part series, revealing Josie's candid experiences of embarking on such an ambitious renovation project, which she confessed has left her "skint".
In conversation with the hosts, Josie opened up about the hurdles of collaborating with relatives and friends during the transformation process.
Ranvir initiated the discussion by remarking, "You know what, you used to live in a caravan before all of this, and now, just a few years later, you've bought this enormous house. You're a great British success story, Josie!"

Yet, Josie responded: "Well, I'm moving back into a caravan, I don't know about that!"
She elaborated on her lifelong aspiration to create an eco-conscious dwelling, aiming for it to be "as off-grid as possible", reports the Mirror.
The beloved television personality is teaming up with her brothers, Josh and Charlie, who work in scrap metal trading, her cousin Tom, a professional builder, and a crew of local workers to bring her Somerset home to life.
Josie opened up on GMB about the difficulties she's encountered, sharing with Ed and Ranvir, "I've actually roped the family in. They say never to work with family or animals, and I've done just that. To say my stress levels are up here..
"They are great, they are amazing, but there are a lot of challenges, let's say."
Nonetheless, the This Morning presenter seems to have embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, despite encountering "massive obstacles" along the way.

"I've had a lot of sleepless nights," the mum-of-one Josie confessed. "Sometimes, you get this great big dream and you follow your dreams, but you don't realise, with those dreams, there could be quite a lot of hurdles."
Josie's upcoming ITV series, produced by MGM Alternative, is scheduled for a 2026 release, although ITV has not confirmed an official date.

Beloved Brit sitcom becomes latest show to be slapped with trigger warning over ‘racist humour'
CLASSIC sitcom Auf Wiedersehen, Pet has been slapped with a trigger warning by ITV for racist humour. Episodes on the channel's ITVX platform now warn the show, which follows a group of Brit builders stationed in Germany, makes 'racial remarks'. 1 The beloved series made stars of Jimmy Nail and Tim Healy and Timothy Spall, following their capers as they pursue high wages and plenty of frauleins. Episode five now warns: 'Contains frequent mild language and mild racial remarks.' The piece is called Home Thoughts From Abroad and follows Bomber, played by Pat Roach, as he travels home to find his missing daughter who them runs up on the building site in Dusseldorf. The flag could have been applied to cover jokes from Oz, played by Jimmy Nail, including one remark about Germany: 'They're the ba**ards that bombed me granny.' Another of his asides was that 'they started it'. The entire show is flagged to contain 'sexual themes, nude images and moderate language throughout'. In 2000, series one was ranked number 46 on the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes in a list compiled by the British Film Institute. The beloved series ran for four series in total, two from 1983 until 1986 and then after a sixteen-year gap, two series and a Christmas special were shown on BBC One in 2002 and 2004. Previously, viewers of the The Fast Show have been warned about 'discriminatory language ' in a Suits You scene from an episode which aired in February 1996. It could concern a scene where the series' lusty Middle Aged Guys declare women who rebuffed their advances 'lesbians'. The Office and Only Fools and Horses are also screened with BBC warnings about their appropriateness for modern audiences. Channel 4 has previously been branded 'humourless' for flagging a series of Father Ted episodes on its streaming service, and ITV has a similar caution on 1970s comedy George & Mildred.

And it didn't end with just one veiled dig, because there were two in the first 15 minutes of the episode. The swipes come as the mother and daughter duo are currently battling through a tricky patch in their relationship, as exclusively revealed by The Sun. Just five minutes into the fourth episode of The Princess Diaries, Princess said she would never do glamour modelling like her mum did. On set for a photoshoot to commemorate her 18th birthday, Princess donned an array of stunning outfits. One of the outfits was a very sheer robe, which left her dad Peter red-faced when she face-timed him. After posing up a storm in the sheer robe, Princess reflected on her mum's modelling career. Saying how she felt in her zone while posing up a storm, Princess confessed: "I felt like my mum." She explained how she had previously seen snaps of her mum modelling when she was younger, and how her shoot reminded her of that. Taking a subtle swipe, Princess then said: "But obviously she did topless. And I would not do topless." Princess Andre admits she's 'not over her ex' as she opens up on split after she goes on a date with new boy Then, later on in the episode, Princess seemingly took a second swipe at her mum when she gushed over how she goes to her stepmum Emily for advice. "Ems is like the best at advice," Princess gushed in the second part of the episode. She went on: "I feel like, if I'm ever in a situation that I don't want to talk to dad about, I'll speak to Ems about it." Princess said this before discussing her boy troubles with her stepmum following her split from her boyfriend. 7 Princess made another veiled dig at her mum when she revealed her stepmum is her go-to person for advice Credit: ITV 7 Emily, who is married to Peter Andre, is Princess' stepmum Credit: ITV 7 Princess said Emily, who she calls Ems, gives great advice Credit: ITV Elsewhere in the episode, Princess became upset when she and her mum made headlines. It was reported, at the time of filming, that Princess did not invite her mum to her birthday party. Princess slammed the claims and urged that she had never spoken badly of her mum. She added how she would never want her mum and dad in the same room as it would be "awkward". Princess noted how if she had a party where her mum was present, she would not want her dad there, and if she had a party where her dad was present, she would not want her mum there. This comes as Princess and her mum Katie navigate a rift. Katie previously vented about those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show. She even vowed not to watch her daughter's reality show, after feeling left out of such an important thing in Princess' life. Then, earlier this week, Katie shared a cryptic message saying 'your mum is not your enemy'. Sharing a quote on her Instagram stories, Katie urged that as a mum she is "not trying to control" but instead "trying to protect" The quote also acknowledged how she "may not be perfect" but is "the only woman in this world" who wants the best for her children. The post Katie shared began with: "Your mum is not your enemy." It went on: "She may not always say things the way you want to hear them, but her heart is always in the right place. "She's the one who worries when you're hurting, prays when you're lost, and stands by you even when the world doesn't. "She's not trying to control you. She's trying to protect you." The cryptic quote concluded: "She may not be perfect, but she's the only woman in this world who truly wants what's best for you, even if it costs her everything."
