13-year-old dead after car crashed into power pole, rolled in Regina's north end
Regina police responded to the incident near Sixth Avenue North and Smith Street just after 5:30 a.m. CST, according to a news release.
A 13-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.
Police are still investigating, but say charges are expected and more information will be released at a later date.
Roads in the area were closed, but have since reopened.

Motorist clocked at 136 km/h in Tiny Township
A motorist in Tiny Township had his vehicle impounded after police pulled him over for driving 136 km/h in an 80 km/h speed zone. Southern Georgian Bay OPP were out on the roads when they caught the male driving at a high rate of speed on Concession 16 East. According to police, the 25-year-old male now faces a stunt driving charge and had his vehicle impounded and his licence suspended with a future court date. OPP are reminding motorist to drive the speed limit.

Three dead in Ontario cottage country, murder suspect still at large
Three people have died and a man is at large in Bracebridge Service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. [5005/500] It has been three days since Ontario Provincial Police responded to reports of gunfire north of Bracebridge. According to police, officers responded to the call shortly after 8 p.m. on Aug. 1, in the area of Beatrice Town Road. When they arrived on scene, police found a deceased male and a house fully engulfed in flames. A shelter-in-place was initiated around 9:30 p.m. as officers responded to a potentially armed individual in distress. The shelter-in-place was lifted early Saturday morning around 1:45 a.m. and there is no longer a threat to public safety. In a second update from OPP on Saturday, Aug. 2, police identified an individual wanted for murder. Twenty-nine-year-old Mitchell Gray from Bracebridge is currently wanted for murder. Police describe him as a white male, 5′8″ with light brown hair and facial hair. He was last seen on Friday, Aug. 1. Their identities cannot be confirmed until a post-mortem examination is conducted. In a statement to CTV News, Bracebridge Mayor Rick Maloney said, 'We appreciate the efforts of all our emergency services who responded to this tragic incident, especially our OPP. Our hearts and thoughts are with the family of the victims.' OPP remain tightlipped on the ongoing death and arson investigation and have not released any additional information. Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
