I want to enjoy sex but I can't stop worrying about my breasts
Welcome to How I Do It, the series in which we give you a seven-day sneak peek into the sex life of a stranger.
This week we hear from Georgia* a 28-year-old journalist working in New York City, who is married to her husband, Aaron*.
The pair used to enjoy dirty talk, but lately, Aaron hasn't been so vocal. It's coincided with Georgia being diagnosed with two fibroadenomas in her breasts.
These non-cancerous lumps have caused her discomfort, making them tender to touch. She's been left feeling self-conscious, and wonders if it's impacting Aaron too.
'I've been scared that this will ruin the most pleasurable and fun part of having sex with my husband,' she says.
'But I'm open-minded, and I'm eager to experiment with what works for us both.'
Without further ado, here's how Georgia got on this week…
The following sex diary is, as you might imagine, not safe for work .

I wake up in the hotel room and immediately check the calendar on my phone — my fibroadenoma appointment is in exactly three weeks. I'll be consulting with a surgeon about removing the lumps.
I had always been comfortable with my body and breasts, thinking they suited me perfectly, until the fibroadenoma arrived. Now, I wish I could be slimmer, because this operation could make my breasts smaller. I'm afraid I'll look odd after this whole ordeal.
Aaron and I are currently on my birthday weekend trip in Houston, Texas, where we've been since Saturday afternoon. We've already had sex four times which is much more than our average weekend at home, embracing new moves including a face-sitting position and a reverse cowgirl one.
Aaron is encouraging me to be more dominant in the hopes of making me feel more 'proud' of my body right now.
It's warm in between the sheets this morning, and we start to get it on.
We do some pushing tush (missionary where the receiving partner can stimulate the anus of the penetrating partner), the rocking horse (cowgirl where you're both sat up holding each other), and happy scissors (where the receiving partner lays on their back with their legs spread wide, while the penetrating partner thrusts and holds a vibrator to the clitoris).
Sometimes it hurts when Aaron touches my left breast, where the largest lump is, and a little less with my right one. He's been shy about touching them — I wonder if he feels sorry for me, or he doesn't know how to handle them anymore.
Aaron is more quiet than me. He just moans, and takes long breathes. He used to talk dirty to me, and I miss that version of him. We used to be hyper excited to discover every inch of each other.
I try to initiate more dirty talk, but nothing really comes out. It annoys me, as I feel like him talking would distract me from these lumps.
I let it slide, but I want to ask him tomorrow what's going on.
Aaron and I have a good conversation. He tells me he thinks too much about what to say during dirty talk, and it ends up coming out all wrong and rushed. So, when we start having sex, I encourage him to improvise.
His reaction is pretty bland, with a quick nod and a smirk. Honestly, I can't catch the words he is saying.
I just end up saying 'yes' multiple times to phrases and words that I can barely understand. He comes, but I don't.
I decide to masturbate while he's in the bathroom, getting ready for our brunch date. Today my breasts are a little bit more tender, but I manage to gently touch them.
I zone out and imagine Aaron dirty talking to me.
We're back from Houston to the frenzy and chaotic atmosphere of New York. I have so many deadlines to take care of and Aaron's cute self is distracting me.
Trust me, I want to spend the whole day in bed, but I need to attend meetings and run errands. He understands I have work to do, so today he chills by himself.
I'd say we're very good at respecting each other's boundaries, and besides, my groin is still recuperating from everything we got up to in Houston.
Today I work at the office and by the time I'm home, I'm tired.
We didn't actively plan on having sex tonight, but we end up in bed. Aaron's penis isn't getting as hard as usual, and it's making him self-conscious.
But in this moment, something shifts. He becomes more vocal with his needs. 'I need a moment, I don't know what's happening', he says, and I'm glad to hear him opening up.
He senses that I'm excited though and it seems seems to spark something in him. He starts dirty talking, his energy picks up, and we both smile, sharing a feverish connection.
I don't even get to think about the fibroadenoma much. I let go of a gentle moan and laugh.
Tonight, in between fingering, we tried the stacked snakes position, where I lay down face first on the bed, but lift up my hips and he thrusts from above.
I'm reminded that Aaron has always been good at quietly taking note of what I like and don't like, and when I least expect it he gets to perform that touch, position, or move that I've been waiting for.
I'm tired, but very happy.
We make love for five hours straight, from 8am to 1pm. I know I should be working, but I allow myself to let go completely.
My day starts at 2pm. I spend hours working on my articles until 2am. It feels like I barely have a moment to breathe, but I know prioritising Aaron this morning was the right choice.
Aaron wants to make love again, but I turn him down. Not because I don't want to have sex, but the thought of missing these deadlines isn't going to get me in the mood to give a blow job. More Trending
I call my mum this afternoon. 'When is your doctor's appointment again?' she asks. 'In two weeks,' I reply.
The anxiety is palpable. I want to remove these lumps, but how small will my boobs look after this procedure? Will they be weirdly-shaped? Will I still enjoy sex with my husband?
I try to let go of this thought, and instead focus on the past week. I'm looking forward to a lifetime of exciting, fun and meaningful sex, no matter what my body looks like.

Squid Game boss confirms mind-blowing spin-off idea that has to happen
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video In just a couple of weeks, the final season of Squid Game is set to launch on Netflix. Fans around the world are in a state of disbelief that the South Korean dystopian TV phenomenon is drawing to a close, concluding the story of Seong Gi-hun, aka Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae). However, it might not be the absolute end, as the creator of the show Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed his gripping idea for a spin-off to Metro at last night's London premiere for season three. The writer previously expressed interest in continuing the franchise, but he's now finally shared the details of what his idea would entail with familiar, terrifying characters… and we're desperate to see this fascinating plot play out. While standing alongside lead actor Lee Jung-jae, Hwang Dong-hyuk emphasised that there was 'nothing concrete yet' for an official spin-off. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. Nonetheless, he's thought long and hard about how the Squid Game universe could live on, suggesting that they could delve into the backstories of people including the sinister Frontman (Lee Byung-hun) and the Recruiter (Gong Yoo). 'This is just some ideas that I've been throwing around during production. But there's a three-year gap between season one and two, since Gi-hun turns away from the plane,' he said. 'So I'd like to maybe look into the lives of those behind the mask, the Frontman, the Recruiter and Captain Park. How did they meet? What did they do during the three years? 'How did they stay on top of Gi-hun and whatnot? So that's something that I'm thinking about. I have to make it!' Metro TV Editor, Sabrina Barr When I first heard that there was talk of a Squid Game spin-off series, I envisioned a show taking place after the events of season three, perhaps following Gi-hun's daughter as she seeks revenge for her father, if he doesn't make it out of the game for a second time. However, hearing Hwang Dong-hyuk talk about the possibility of a sequel series that would fill in the blanks of that three-year gap between seasons one and two has piqued my interest greatly. I would still love to delve into the aftermath of the original series, but there is so much history about the game that we don't know, with ample content that could pack out a prequel focusing on the Frontman, the Recruiter and Captain Park. Alternatively, I also think it would be fascinating to watch a prequel on the very first Squid Game, so that we can find out how the game started in the first place, and what it was like in that inaugural year. On the other hand, maybe part of the allure that surrounds Squid Game is the sense of mystery, with the audience never being privy to the answers that they crave. Either way, I'm elated that it definitely feels as though there is more Squid Game to come in the future. The Frontman and the Recruiter have been a part of Squid Game since the beginning, although the former was only unmasked at the very end of season one, when he revealed himself to his brother, detective Detective Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon). The latter shed light on his backstory in season two, when he explained to Gi-hun that he willingly shot his own father dead during the game while he was working as a soldier. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Captain Park (Oh Dal-su) was introduced in season two as the fisherman who saved Hwang Jun-ho's life when he was shot by his brother and fell from a cliff into the sea. More Trending In season two, the captain was shown helping the police detective to search for the island where Squid Game takes place, but it was later revealed that he was actually a double agent working for the Frontman. Learning how this trio worked together behind the scenes, and how they were able to keep tabs on Gi-hun in the three years after he won the game, would add a new layer to one of the most thought-provoking thrillers on TV. The dark past behind Kim Zolciak's reckless spending revealed after daughter made crushing discovery
Kim Zolciak 's over-the-top spending and gambling habits have reportedly cost her millions, according to past claims by her ex Kroy Biermann. And earlier this month, one of her adult children revealed a shocking claim about how her parents handled her finances - painting a grim picture of the glitzy Georgia family. Zolciak's daughter Ariana, a 23-year-old influencer, said money her parents had taken money she earned as a teenager doing brand deals and social media endorsements was gone - and that she had 'no idea where it actually went.' Over the years, Kim, 47, has lived lavishly since she rose to fame on the Real Housewives of Atlanta nearly two decades ago. However, her expensive tastes have come with a lofty cost - as her family members accused her of not only spending her own money but also spending THEIR earnings. And more tragic consequences have arrived, as the Bravo star and former Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman were evicted from the home by U.S. Marshalls two months back, according to court documents. Over the years, the 47-year-old reality TV personality had been living lavishly since she rose to fame on the Real Housewives of Atlanta nearly two decades ago. Pictured in May in her native Georgia The backstory Zolciak and Biermann are parents to four children - Kroy Jr., 14, Kash Kade, 12, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 11. Biermann adopted Zolciak's two elder daughters from prior relationship, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 23. Zolciak rose to fame as a member of the cast of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She subsequently parlayed her popularity into the spinoff Don't Be Tardy... on Bravo. She also competed on five episodes of Dancing with the Stars in 2015. Biermann was drafted into the NFL in 2008 after attending Montana, and played eight seasons, all for the Falcons. He had his most productive year on the field in 2012 when he started 14 games, racking up 36 tackles, three sacks and scoring a touchdown on an interception. The pair exchanged vows in a lavish $1 million wedding on November 11, 2011 - marking the date 11/11/11 - at their Georgia mansion. Anguish for Ariana Ariana said the cash she worked hard for had been given to her mother and stepfather Kroy Biermann, 39 - and that she only learned the shocking truth about her emptied bank account two years ago. 'I was doing like three posts a week and you get paid astronomical [amounts of money] to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money,' Ariana said. 'But, unfortunately, my parents took my money - I don't even know how much money I made over the time period.' Ariana said that 'nobody was honest;' 'there was no transparency' and that she had 'no idea where it actually went' and 'can't say exactly' what her parents spent the money on. On Next Gen NYC, Ariana explained that the problematic family finances have impacted her relationship with her partner Hudson McLeroy, as Kim continues to ask her for money. 'Sometimes I don't tell Hudson when she's asking me for something because she's going through this crazy divorce and living with four kids,' Ariana said. Ariana said she was very careful about keeping firewalls between finances and the relationship: 'I get it and I never want money to destroy the relationship with my family.' In a subsequent clip she posted to Instagram, Ariana explained that while her parents did indeed collect finances from her throughout her teens and beyond, she harbored no ill will against them. 'My parents did take my money from the ages of 14 to 20,' Ariana said. 'And I want to start off by saying that in no way, shape, or form was this, me trying to bash my parents in any way, you know, I wouldn't be here without them - I have absolutely no anger or hatred in my heart.' Daily Mail has reached out to Ariana for further comment on her previous claims. Fast cash Kim Zolciak has been entangled in a contentious divorce battle with Biermann and caught up in a bitter legal feud over their Georgia mansion after they called it quits back in 2023. Since then, Zolciak has also been reportedly rushing to sell off some of her luxury goods. Ariana said that her mother still sometimes reaches out to her for financial help. According to court filings, Biermann alleged that his ex blew through more than $600,000 on luxury shopping sprees over a seven-year span as she frequented high-end retailers like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Chanel. Zolciak loved to flex her luxury goods, but has since started selling some of her used Chanel and Prada handbags. Her expensive taste also extends into food and drink as she had always boasted about drinking Opus One, which coasts $630 per bottle. Many of her consumption habits were documented on her reality show, Don't Be Tardy, which ran from 2012 until its 2021 cancelation. She said in a 2014 episode that she once lost $250,000 at a Bahamas casino. The reality star is also said to enjoy slot machines, blackjack, craps and scratch-off tickets. She would reportedly stay up all night stuffing $100 bills into slot machine and once blew the price of 'a whole RV' on family trip to Vegas. Additionally, she also lived beyond her means in her lavish Atlanta mansion that went into foreclosure in early 2023. In her residence, she had enjoyed a private hair salon, home elevator and used Versace china.
