We sent $60 million in food aid to Gaza, but no one thanked us, says Trump

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that his administration had allocated USD 60 million in aid to send food into Gaza two weeks ago, but added that 'no one thanked us.'
In remarks made during a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Trump said:
'We delivered USD 60 million worth of food into Gaza. It got in. No one thanked us. Not Hamas, not anyone.'
Trump also downplayed the severity of the humanitarian situation in Gaza, saying:
'I don't think there's a famine in Gaza". He went on to describe the situation on the ground as chaotic and mismanaged:
'People are stealing the food, they're stealing the money, they're stealing the money for the food, they're stealing weapons, they're stealing everything. It's a mess. That whole place is a mess.'
The president also reiterated his stance on "Israeli" captives held by Hamas:
'Hamas must release the hostages and detainees. We've already brought most of them back.'
'It's up to Israel now. Israel has to make a decision about Gaza.'

Netanyahu: There is no starvation in Gaza

Published July 28th, 2025 - 11:38 GMT ALBAWABA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a video denying the starvation in Gaza, despite the reports and videos circulating the internet stating otherwise. Netanyahu wrote in the video's caption, "There is no starvation in Gaza, no policy of starvation in Gaza, and I assure you that we have a commitment to achieve our war goals." He added, "We will continue to fight till we achieve the release of our hostages and the destruction of Hamas' military and governing capabilities. They shall be there no more." A social media user wrote on X under the video, "Our eyes tell us the opposite." Another Israeli social media user added, showcasing discontent with the current government, "You are a war criminal. STOP the war. Bring back all the hostages. Resign." The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip has resulted in the killing of at least 59,000 Palestinians and the injuring of more than 144,000. Additionally, the starvation in Gaza has left 147 people dead, of whom 88 are children. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (

Quick actions after the phone call between His Majesty and Trump. - Jordan News

Quick actions after the phone call between His Majesty and Trump. The GM of Jobkins Center for Strategic Studies, an expert and strategic and economic analyst, engineer Mohannad Abbas hadadin, said that the phone call between His Majesty The King and President Trump yesterday was only after the period of starvation witnessed by the world for the residents of Gaza, where everyone condemned it with words and statements that did not provide a loaf of bread or a bottle of milk for an infant, but the Jordanian action on the ground under the directives of His Majesty The King, which began a few days ago by sending food shipments of flour, milk and others through land and air, which was carried out by the Eagles of our armed forces against the Israelis to break the blockade starvation, and a little while ago and after the phone call of His Majesty with the American president, in which His Majesty used all His diplomatic relations during his visit to the United States and Canada, Israel succumbed to this US pressure, as it began to create safe corridors from today for the entry of aid from the United Nations as well as the expansion of air landings to provide food aid to save the lives of our people in Gaza, despite all that was said about Jordan from the sounds of the wall. اضافة اعلان Jordan is not waiting for anyone to move to save our people in Gaza ,they are in the heart and soul of His Majesty The King, as well as the Jordanian people, who consider the Palestinian as their other twin.

'I'm afraid to go home': Website exposes Canadians serving in 'Israeli' military

A website, has ignited a heated controversy in Canada by compiling and publishing publicly available information on Canadians who have served in the 'Israeli' military. This project defines 'Canadian' as someone who is a Canadian citizen, and/or has lived in Canada for a significant amount of time, and/or currently lives in Canada. Launched on February 24, 2024, by The Maple, an online publication with a pro-Palestinian and anti-'Israel' stance, the site claims its purpose is to help readers understand the motivations of Canadians joining the 'Israeli' military by aggregating details from public sources . Davide Mastracci, The Maple's opinion editor, has publicly accused 'Israel' of planned genocide in Gaza. However, the initiative has been met with strong accusations of "doxxing" from those listed and their families, who view the compilation as an act of intimidation. Globally, there's a growing trend of legal complaints targeting 'Israeli' soldiers based heavily on open-source material, leading the 'Israeli' military to reportedly no longer allow soldiers to be identified by name. Legal Ambiguity of "Doxxing" A key point of contention is Canada's legal landscape. "Doxxing" itself is not a defined criminal offense in Canada . While the act of publishing private information for harassment is widely condemned, legal experts note that proving intent to harm is an "uphill battle" for potential lawsuits. Mastracci asserts that every profile is "based entirely on public information gathered through simple Google searches from news articles, social media profiles, newsletters, websites, public directories and other sources," with each claim hyperlinked to its original public source. He emphasizes that the information's origin lies with the soldiers themselves, their family members, or media outlets where they "willingly shared their status as a soldier". The project, he suggests, implicitly challenges why such information was made public in the first place. "I'm afraid to go home" "I'm afraid to go home," one Canadian reservist expressed, while another, Nati Hubberman, a dual Canadian-'Israeli' citizen, recounted asking, "Is it safe for me to fly to Canada?" after seeing his name on the site, in statements made to 'The Times of Israel'. Canadians in Foreign Militaries and RCMP Scrutiny Serving in foreign militaries, including the 'Israeli' military, is generally legal for Canadian citizens. The 1937 Foreign Enlistment Act primarily prohibits recruitment within Canada, not service abroad . The RCMP previously closed an investigation into alleged illegal 'Israeli' recruitment in Canada without charges in June 2023 . However, a separate, ongoing RCMP probe into "core international crimes" related to the 'Israeli' aggression on Gaza, launched in early 2024, has added a new layer of anxiety. While not a criminal investigation at this stage, the RCMP is collecting information and has not ruled out future prosecution if a perpetrator with a "nexus to Canada" is identified.
