Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis 'bonded over their rescue dogs' as he debuts his senior pooch Odie in NYC
Along with the 56-year-old Morning Show actress was her 49-year-old silver fox boyfriend Jim Curtis who was still using a cane from an unknown injury as he dressed in a plain white T-shirt, olive green slacks, gray sneakers and a blue cap.
The life coach was debuting his rescue senior pooch named Odie which he has called 'the world's cutest dog.' Aniston's beloved dogs Clyde and Lord Chesterfield were not seen during the outing.
Turns out that Curtis having a rescue dog was very appealing for canine-lover Aniston. 'Jennifer really bonded with Jim over his love for rescue dogs, she appreciates that,' said an insider.
'Instead of dating around he rescued Odie which gave him so much love he didn't have to run around with random women, he had been single for a while, so when he met Jennifer, he had a clean slate,' a source tells the Daily Mail.
'Odie really kept him from settling and allowed him to wait for his dream girl, Jennifer. He believes Odie healed a part of him and prepared him for true love,' noted the source.
And it helps that their dogs get along. 'Odie loves Clyde and Lord Chesterfield,' added the source. 'Together Jennifer and Jim are happy fur parents with their cute dogs.'
They also both spend time trying to help canines: 'They are active in dog charities and helping get aid and supplies for dogs. It really makes them feel good to help out less privileged pooches.'
The Friends veteran added khaki fringed slacks with a matching flirty sun hat, black sunglasses and flip flops for an ultra casual look with a gray scarf around her neck.
And the millionaire made sure to show off a bottle of Smartwater, a company she is paid a fortune to promote. She is in the Big Apple for 'business meetings' the Daily Mail has learned.
The Cake actress and the hypnotist have been together for several months already and made their debut as a couple in July.
Curtis is known as a life coach and love 'guru,' and he describes himself as a 'transformational coach and hypnotherapist.'

Aniston appears to be intimately familiar with his work, as she has been following him on social media for nearly two years.
Jennifer — who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, and then Theroux from 2011 until 2017 — sparked romance rumors after she was spotted with the bearded hunk on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, during Fourth of July weekend.
'She's dating Jim and is very happy, but she's still taking things slowly,' a source previously told the Daily Mail.
The insider added that Jen 'feels very connected to Jim, as they have the same level of emotional intelligence, unlike some of her previous suitors.'
Before that Aniston appeared to be dropping hints about the new man in her life.
On July 14, she took to Instagram Stories with a pair of cryptic posts that had fans reading between the lines.
First, the Along Came Polly alum reposted a tweet that read: 'The Friends theme song was right, no one told us life was gonna be this way' — seemingly referencing an unexpected new chapter in her life.
She then sent tongues wagging when she posted a quote from 'mindfulness expert' Case Kenny that read, 'People who still radiate love in a world that has shown them its darkest sides, please never change.'
Fans immediately began theorizing that the message was about Curtis, who's known for his uplifting, love-centric philosophy.
Following the couple's recent Mallorca getaway, Curtis gushed about how much it meant to him with his fans.
'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' he wrote in his newsletter, according to Page Six.
'When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis.

Curtis has had his own share of life-changing challenges.
Beginning in the summer of 1995, right after his freshman year at the University of New Hampshire, when he was hit with severe nerve pain that would stay with him for years.
An MRI later revealed lesions on his spinal cord, a diagnosis that pushed Curtis to pivot from his 'frat guy athlete' persona and explore a different path focused on healing and personal transformation.
He credits a university professor for setting that new course into motion.
'He taught me to meditate and introduced me to the idea of mindfulness: focusing on just being present,' Curtis shared in a 2017 interview.

On a scorching hot July afternoon in New Haven, Kiya, 20, and her mother, Nila, 50, dug through a closet looking for their extra air conditioning unit. She decided to tuck them out of sight, but never threw them out. After all, Nila had been a winner. But as the years went on, the Starburst debacle faded into oblivion. She had not thought about it since she packed the candies away. The keepsake box stayed in its hiding place - and if it was not for the early July heatwave, it probably would have still been there. Kiya, who was about five years old when her mother bought the almost-lucky pack, told the Daily Mail this was the first time she heard this jaw-dropping story. Bizarre link between DJ probed in deadly radio water drinking contest and this year's blockbuster murder trial
A mother-of-three met an extraordinary death after she entered a radio competition to win her children a newly released Nintendo Wii console. The premise of the 2007 contest was simple: drink as much water as you can without going to the bathroom. The last person standing would win the prize. Jennifer Strange, 28, loved listening to Morning Rave on KDND-FM. When she heard about the station's 'Hold Your Wee for a Wii' competition, it sounded fun, if a little silly. Remarkably, she was chosen to take part. The contest began at 6:45am on January 12, 2007, with 17 contestants. They were each given eight-ounce bottles of water to drink every 15 minutes, with the amount increasing over time. Strange, who drank almost two gallons, began complaining of a headache and stomach pains. But the hosts, Adam Cox, Steve Maney, and Patricia Sweet, joked about her condition, with one remarking that her swollen stomach made her look pregnant. Jennifer finished second and went home with concert tickets as consolation. She called in sick to work, saying she was in severe pain, but within hours she was dead. Her death sparked a national scandal, leading to a criminal investigation and a multi-million-dollar settlement. However Cox's involvement in the Strange case wouldn't be his last brush with controversy. Years later, his name would be tied to another shocking case: his sister, Lori Vallow, was convicted of killing her children in a saga that horrified the nation. In another exchange, Strange told Cox she was feeling lightheaded and unsure what was wrong. 'This is what it feels like when you're drowning. There's a lot of water inside you,' said Cox. 'Oh, it hurts,' Strange replied. Cox later wrote that the tone of Morning Rave was 'playful… sometimes even sarcastic', and, despite the concerns of callers, he and the other hosts were powerless to stop the contest. When Strange finally bowed out after three hours, accepting Justin Timberlake tickets as second-place consolation, she told Maney, 'I don't think I'm ready to go home yet.' But she drove herself home, calling in sick to work on the way. Her colleague, Laura Rios, told NBC that Strange said her head was 'hurting her real bad'. 'She was crying and that was the last that anyone had heard from her.' In his memoir, Cox said he was alerted to Strange's death in a phone call from his boss. 'I picked up the phone groggily said: 'Hello.' Then I was about to hear words that had a catastrophic impact on my life, which will forever be engraved in my mind and soul. My boss said, 'One of the contestants from the contest died today,"' Cox wrote. 'I couldn't understand why or how that could've happened. I started crying thinking about her, one of our loyal listeners, a mom just trying to win a Wii for for her kids. 'Thinking about that hit me like a ton of bricks.' Cox, Sweet, Maney, and several colleagues were immediately fired after Strange's death, and Morning Rave was pulled from the air. They were told they were being investigated for possible criminal charges in connection with her death. Cox later appeared on KCRA, claiming he and his colleagues had been unfairly treated. He said news crews had been camping outside his home. 'Our reputations went from riding high on a successful morning show… to the bottom of the barrel. Almost instantly, we were considered lower than the dust of the earth,' wrote Cox in his book. '[A]ny reasonable person should have realized that we as a team were just doing our job as radio entertainers and only did what the management directed.' The Sacramento District Attorney ultimately closed its investigation into Strange's death without filing charges against the station or its employees, including Cox. In 2009, Strange's family was awarded $16.5 million by a California jury in a civil case, which found the station liable for its employees' actions. Entercom, the station's parent company, surrendered KDND-FM's license, and the station went off the air in 2017. For years, Cox struggled to find work. '[N]obody was going to hire a DJ with a reputation as a 'killer.' I was branded with a cruel and false charge," he wrote Eventually, he worked for two other radio stations before becoming a professional pickleball player and coach, leading a life of relative obscurity. That was until his sister, Lori Vallow, was thrust into the spotlight in 2019. Lori's saga began that July when her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, was shot dead by her brother, Alex Cox. Alex claimed he shot Charles in self-defense after Charles attacked him with a baseball bat. But investigators later determined Alex killed Charles at Lori's direction. By this time, Lori was already involved with Chad Daybell, a doomsday author who would become her fifth husband. A series of strange events followed Charles' death. First, Lori's two children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, 7, vanished days apart in September. In October, Chad Daybell's wife of 30 years, Tammy, was found dead at home. Lori and Chad then secretly married in Hawaii in early November - but there was no sign of JJ or Tylee at the wedding. Tammy's body was exhumed in December for further testing, as investigators believed her death was suspicious. Days later, Alex Cox was found dead at his home in Arizona. For months, Lori refused to reveal the whereabouts of her children. The case dominated national headlines, with her bizarre religious beliefs and involvement in a doomsday cult taking center stage. In June 2020, a tragic discovery was made at Daybell's home in Rexburg, Idaho: JJ and Tylee's remains were found in shallow graves. JJ was wrapped in garbage bags, and Tylee had been dismembered and burned. Both Lori and Chad were convicted of various charges in connection to the deaths of JJ, Tylee, Tammy, and Charles. At her trial for Charles Vallow's murder in Arizona earlier this year, Lori cross-examined her radio DJ brother, Adam Cox, who had been called as a witness. For almost two minutes, Lori grilled him on the last time they saw each other. '[The last time you saw me] were we eating my green chilli chicken enchiladas?' asked Lori.
