Ireland clinched a 63-run victory on a tense final day in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo as Matthew Humphreys' seven-wicket match haul proved crucial.
Zimbabwe started day five requiring 109 runs for victory as they chased 292 but left-arm spinner Humphreys dismissed Newman Nyamhuri for the addition of only five runs.
Crucially Humphreys then bowled Wesley Madhevere for 84 in a massive blow to the hosts' hopes of chasing down the Ireland tally.
That left Zimbabwe still requiring 73 runs for victory but they only added 10 more before Andy McBrine's dismissal of Richard Ngarava secured a third straight Test win for Ireland.
Humphreys' outstanding second-innings figures of 6-57 was his Test best for Ireland.
The Irish defeated Zimbabwe in Belfast last July, which came four months after their first Test triumph over Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi in what was their eighth game in the format.
Ireland's latest victory looked unlikely on day one as they slumped to 31-5 but McBrine's unbeaten 90 and 78 from Mark Adair helped the tourists regroup and they largely controlled the remainder of the contest.

Notre Dame makes offer to wide receiver/cornerback Duvay Williams
The Fighting Irish could use Williams' ability to play more than one position Duvay Williams has received an offer from Notre Dame. The cornerback/wide receiver is class of 2027 out of Junipero Sierra in Gardena, Ca. and he stands six-foot-two and weighs 170 pounds. He's been a Polynesian Bowl All-American. He's also a five-star recruit. Notre Dame has been recruiting hard this offseason, with some exciting commitments. A run to the national championship game will do that. And while this is just an offer, not a commitment, the Irish could probably use a player with two-way skills like Williams. He could either bolster the passing game -- which probably does need bolstering -- or be a part of a defense that has been lockdown of late. We'll see what he chooses. Notre Dame projected to return to the College Football Playoff by Athlon Sports
It's easy to be bullish on Notre Dame as the 2025 college football season approaches, and one national publication projects the Fighting Irish to return to the College Football Playoff. Athlon Sports released its bowl game predictions for every postseason tilt, including the 12-team Playoff, which could be the final time we see the field with this iteration if expansion goes through as expected. Ronaldo to extend Al-Nassr stay, Saudi sources say
Cristiano Ronaldo is close to agreeing a new contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Saudi sources have told BBC Sport. The 40-year-old Portugal captain's deal was due to expire at the end of June, but sources indicate a two-year extension is close to being finalised. Advertisement Ronaldo posted on social media "the chapter is over" following the Riyadh club's final Saudi Pro League game of the season last month, leading to speculation he was set to leave. Fifa president Gianni Infantino then raised the prospect of him joining a team involved at the Club World Cup after Al-Nassr's failure to qualify for the extended tournament which is being held in the United States. Ronaldo said he had received offers from participating teams but had turned them down. Having helped Portugal win the Uefa Nations League two weeks ago, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus forward appears to have decided to stay in Saudi Arabia, and is said to be considering making his own sports investments in the Gulf nation. He has scored 99 goals in 111 appearances for the Saudi club, including 35 in 41 matches last term, claiming the league's Golden Boot award for top scorer. Earlier on Wednesday, Al-Nassr parted company with Italian manager Stefano Pioli after less than a year in charge. The ex-AC Milan boss led them to a third-placed finish last season in the Saudi top flight, where they finished 13 points behind champions Al-Ittihad. "Thanks for everything," Ronaldo wrote in a message on social media following news of Pioli's exit, with the 59-year-old set to take charge of former club Fiorentina.
