
Military Hajj Mission back from Saudi Arabia
Muscat: The Military Hajj Mission returned home from the Holy Land after performing the pilgrimage, on Tuesday.
The mission was received upon arrival at Seeb Air Base by retired Maj-Gen Hamad bin Sulaiman al Hatmi and a number of senior officers from the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and other military and security agencies.
A number of Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) aircrafts transported the members of the Military Hajj Mission. The mission comprised pilgrims and administrators from the SAF and other military and security bodies.
The military Hajj mission is organized annually on Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Supreme Commander under the supervision of the Moral Guidance and Military Ceremonies Department at the Office of Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces.
The administrative and health measures related to the mission were taken in coordination with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, the Omani Hajj Mission, the Embassy of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Sultanate of Oman as well as other relevant authorities.
The Military Hajj Mission was accompanied by an integrated administrative team comprising administrative, medical, media, and technical staff.

Military Hajj Mission returns home
Muscat: The military Hajj mission returned home on Tuesday after performing this year's Hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land. Upon arrival at Al Seeb Air Base, the mission was received by Maj. The military Hajj mission returned aboard several transport aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The delegation included a number of pilgrims and administrative personnel from the Sultan's Armed Forces and other military and security units. All members of the mission performed the Hajj rituals with ease and returned in good health. The dispatch of the military Hajj mission comes under the directives of His Majesty the Supreme Commander and is organised annually by the Moral Guidance and Military Protocol Department of the Sultan's Armed Forces. Comprehensive administrative and health measures related to the mission were implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Omani Hajj Mission, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Sultanate of Oman, and other relevant authorities. HM the Sultan congratulates the king of KSA on the success of the Hajj season
Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik sent a cable of congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of this year's Hajj season 1446 AH. His Majesty the Sultan praised the great efforts made by the Kingdom's government each year to serve the Guests of God and provide all necessary conditions and services for the smooth, safe, and easy performance of the Hajj rituals. He asked God Almighty to grant the Kingdom continued success in organiaing the performance of this ritual in the most perfect manner, and to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince with the best reward.
