Ben Saddik vs Rigters: When and How to Watch Glory 103
The bout will take place on August 23 at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. The two fighters were originally scheduled to meet in 2022, but the fight was cancelled after a clash between supporters.
The fight will be available to watch on StarTimes Sports – which airs GLORY events across Africa – on DAZN, and on GLORY's official streaming channels.
The winner will advance to the year-end grand finale of GLORY's Last Heavyweight Standing tournament.
Ben Saddik, nicknamed 'The Goliath,' holds a professional record of 38 wins, 10 losses, and 29 KOs. He famously defeated heavyweight king Rico Verhoeven with a second-round TKO in his debut back in 2011.
Jamal has overcome his own battles outside the ring. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and underwent a serious five-hour operation in Belgium in March 2024.
Now 34, Jamal stands 2.05m tall, weighs 117.5kg, and is the biggest active fighter on the GLORY roster—rivalled only by former heavyweight champion Semmy Schilt in size.
Ben Saddik is known for his aggressive, pressure-heavy style, overwhelming opponents with power punches and leaving little room for a counterattack.
In the opposite corner, Levi 'The Judge' Rigters is a sharp and efficient Dutch kickboxer with a record of 19 wins, 3 losses, and 9 KOs. He is currently ranked #1 in the GLORY heavyweight division.
Standing 2m tall, weighing 112.9kg, and aged 30, Rigters is the former Enfusion super heavyweight champion, a title he clinched after beating Martin Pacas in October 2018, before moving to GLORY in 2020.
Jamal's raw power and relentless striking against Levi's precision and composure promise a true clash of styles.
Tactically, the edge may lean toward Rigters—but Jamal's brute-force style is tailor-made for the heavyweight chaos.
MWN predicts a third-round knockout for Jamal Ben Saddik. Tags: Glory 103Jamal Ben Saddik

Official: Oussama El Azzouzi Joins Auxerre on Loan from Bologna
French side AJ Auxerre have officially signed Moroccan midfielder Oussama El Azzouzi on a season-long loan from Serie A outfit Bologna, the Ligue 1 club announced on Thursday. The 24-year-old will wear the number 17 shirt and is expected to bolster Christophe Pélissier's midfield, a key area in the manager's tactical setup. 'El Azzouzi brings experience and tenacity,' the club said in a statement. 'The 24-year-old defensive midfielder is on loan from Bologna (Italy) and will wear number 17.' Born in the Netherlands, El Azzouzi came through the youth systems of several Dutch clubs, including FC Groningen and FC Emmen, where he made his professional debut. He then moved to Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise in 2022, making 34 appearances—seven of them in the Europa League – as the club enjoyed a strong domestic and European run. In the summer of 2023, El Azzouzi joined Bologna. Despite being hampered by injury, he managed to score two goals and register two assists in his debut Serie A campaign. A rising figure in North African football, El Azzouzi earned his first call-up to Morocco's senior national team in 2022. He later helped the U23 squad clinch the Africa Cup of Nations and featured at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Auxerre hailed his arrival as a coup, noting that his 'vision and ball-winning ability' would add tactical discipline to the squad.

Abderrahman Errachidy: Moroccan MMA Fighter Wants to 'Shut the Lights Out'
Moroccan featherweight Abderrahman Errachidy is set to make his Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut on August 9 when he takes on South Africa's Elbert Steyn in front of his home crowd, in what is being billed as one of the standout matchups on the inaugural PFL Africa card. The card begins at 5 p.m. Moroccan time (GMT+1) at Carnival City, Johannesburg, South Africa, and MMA fans can catch the action live on SuperSport, Canal+ France, PFL App, and STARZPLAY. STEYN-vs-ERRACHIDY at PFL Africa The 24-year-old enters the bout with a professional record of 4-1 and carries with him the weight of Moroccan hopes into the Big Top Arena. 'I carry Morocco on my shoulders every time I step in that cage,' Errachidy told Morocco World News. 'It's an honour and a responsibility I don't take lightly.' Known for his Taekwondo background, unorthodox kicks, and punishing counters, Errachidy represents a new wave of Moroccan fighters making inroads into top-tier MMA. From an early age, he knew he was cut out to become a fighter: 'Let's just say I was a wild child – always up to mischief,' he said. 'MMA felt like home the moment I saw it. It gave my chaos a purpose.' 'I took a punch straight to the face in my first training session,' he laughs. 'Felt the pain, loved it. That's when I knew – this was it.' The Casablanca-based fighter credits a pivotal conversation with his coach for pushing him to pursue a professional career. 'He pulled me aside and said, 'You don't belong here – you belong with the pros.' That moment changed everything.' Errachidy's opponent, Steyn, is a more established figure in the region. A home favourite, the South African is known for his methodical style, mixing high-volume striking with solid grappling. This is expected to be a classic striker-versus-grappler encounter. 'Home turf or not, it's just another fight,' Errachidy said. 'I'm here to shut the lights out and move to the next one.' The pair meet in the featherweight division (145lb) as part of the PFL's first official event in Africa. PFL, launched in 2018, has quickly established itself as a serious contender in the MMA world, offering a league-style format with regular-season bouts, playoffs and $1 million championship finals. Its regional branches – including PFL MENA and PFL Europe – are now joined by PFL Africa, chaired by former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Errachidy is among a growing group of Moroccan athletes signed to the promotion. They include Badreddine Diani (9-3), Taha Bendaoud (4-0), Salah Eddine Hamli (9-0) and Rachid Haz (15-4-0) – all of whom have made headlines in recent PFL events. 'We're building something big,' Errachidy said. 'I want to be part of that push – leading the next generation, showing them it's possible.' Still, his focus remains firmly on climbing the ranks. 'I want to carve my name into MMA history – not in ink, in gold.' Saturday's fight with Steyn may prove a key milestone in that pursuit. The South African, fighting in front of a home crowd, will have the advantage in experience and atmosphere. But Errachidy is unfazed. 'We've studied him. We've got a plan,' he said. 'I'll let the fight do the talking.' Away from the cage, Abderrahman keeps things simple. He enjoys roast chicken with fried potatoes and admits to having a soft spot for fast food. But when fight night comes, he shuts the world out. No distractions, no noise – just focus. His rise has been gritty, not glossy. He trains hard, keeps his circle tight, and swears by the basics. 'Wake up. Train. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Every day's a grind.' He grew up looking up to Jon 'Bones' Jones. Now, he's chasing his own legacy. One last message to the up-and-coming fighters back home, he said: 'Keep fighting. Your time's coming.'

Rachad Fettal: Real Madrid Castilla's new Moroccan forward
Rachad Fettal is a name football fans in Spain and Morocco may hear more often in the coming years. The 20-year-old striker joined Real Madrid Castilla in July 2025 after a promising season with UD Almería, where he made his first-team debut and scored his first professional goal. Now, he is hoping to continue his development at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Fettal was born in Torre-Pacheco, in the Spanish region of Murcia, on January 16, 2005. He holds both Spanish and Moroccan nationality and has chosen to represent Morocco at the international level. He started playing football at a young age and joined local club EF Torre Pacheco, where he quickly stood out. At 13, he scored 28 goals in 30 games. That led to a move to UCAM Murcia's youth setup before joining UD Almería in 2020. His father, he says, has been a key figure in his career. 'He is the one who got me into football and has accompanied me to all games since I was little,' Fettal told AS. In the 2022–23 season, he was the top scorer in the Copa del Rey Juvenil, helping Almería's U19 team reach the final. He was then promoted to Almería B and made his senior debut at 16. In the 2023–24 season, Fettal made his first appearance for Almería's first team in La Liga, coming on against Real Betis in December 2023. He scored his first professional goal in September 2024 in a 2–2 draw with SD Eibar. 'I'm very grateful to coach Rubi, and I'm pleased he spoke well of me, even though we lost,' he said to La Voz de Almería after a league match. Fettal's season was interrupted by a knee injury in January 2025, which kept him out for three months. He returned in April and finished the season with 14 league appearances and one goal. On July 11, 2025, Real Madrid confirmed the signing of Fettal, who signed a three-year contract and joined Castilla, the club's reserve side, which plays in the third tier of Spanish football. At 1.84m, Fettal is a classic centre-forward. He is left-footed and known for his pace, strength, and movement off the ball. Spanish media have compared his playing style to that of former Barcelona and Uruguay striker Luis Suárez. 'He is a fighter. He doesn't stop pressing, he's got grit, and he never hides,' wrote Marca. Fettal has represented both Spain and Morocco at the youth level. He played for Spain U18 in 2023, scoring twice in three appearances, but later accepted a call-up to the Morocco U20 team. 'I still have a lot to improve, and I work every day on the details,' he told AS. Fettal is expected to compete for a starting role with Castilla in the 2025–26 season under coach Álvaro Arbeloa. If he continues to progress, a call-up to the Real Madrid first team — or Morocco's senior side — may not be far off. Tags: CastillaMoroccorachad fettalReal Madrid
