Tour sets record with hundreds of ‘Ultramen' attending, graced by star Totsuka Yuki sharing memorable first visit to Malaysia
The launch event of the tour also set a record in Southeast Asia after successfully gathering 270 Ultraman fans in themed costumes.
Another highlight of the day was the appearance of Totsuka Yuki, best known for his role as Yuma Hize, the 'human host' or alter ego of Ultraman Arc, which concluded its series in early January this year.

Totsuka expressed how much he loved seeing so many fans show their support for Ultraman Arc and the Ultraman franchise in general.
'I can't believe there are so many people here who are so supportive of Ultraman Arc,' he said, expressing his gratitude to the fans.
During his first visit to Malaysia, he mentioned trying local dishes such as curry laksa and nasi lemak.
'There are a lot of interesting shops here in Sunway Pyramid, like Sushi King, and I'm interested in trying it,' he told Malay Mail.
Beyond Malaysia, Totsuka is interested in visiting other Southeast Asian countries, such as Indonesia.
'I know there are a lot of Ultraman fans in Indonesia, so I would really like to visit once,' he shared.
He also would love to visit Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Totsuka's appearance in Malaysia marks another milestone where an actor in an Ultraman series has graced the Malaysian stage, following Hiroki Matsumoto, Raiga Terasaka, Yuka Murayama in 2023, and Tomoya Warabino last year.
The Ultra Tour is a groundbreaking collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions, the official master copyright holder of Ultraman, One Universal Production Sdn Bhd (OUP), and Sunway Group.
OUP chief executive Alvin Lee said that the tour Malaysia has been truly special.
'This collaboration with Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International and Sunway Malls isn't just about an event, it's about creating unforgettable memories for fans of all ages while strengthening the cultural bond between Malaysia and Japan,' he said.

‘Super Robot Wars Y' Brings Back Some Fan Favorites With New DLC
In a new DLC trailer for Super Robot Wars Y, we get to see some familiar series return as well as a few surprising new ones. Specifically, the first DLC pack contains Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O, and Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull. Whereas the second DLC pack includes Kotetsu Jeeg, Getter Robo: The Jet-Black Drifter, and The Brave of Legend Da-Garn. The big surprise is Kamen Rider, but I'm all for it. Some people don't think that live-action tokusatsu shows count as mecha, but I've been a big fan of Juspion for years, and that has the mighty Daileon as the main hero's spaceship that transforms into a giant robot. That aside, having classics like Braiger and Jeeg is also great. The last time I remember seeing Jeeg in a Super Robot Wars game was Alpha 3, which really needs a modern HD remaster. Then there's The Big O, which was a big part of the Super Robot Wars Z games, and is just a really cool series all around anyway. Super Robot Wars Y is released on August 28 for Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Follow me on X, Facebook and YouTube. I also manage Mecha Damashii and am currently featured in the Giant Robots exhibition currently touring Japan.

Here's a look inside Disney Adventure, the company's largest cruise ship ever
Disney's largest cruise ship, Disney Adventure, will sail out of Singapore in December. Disney CEO Bob Iger said it's a chance for Disney's IP to "float" into the Southeast Asia market. The ship will have several attractions, including the "longest roller coaster at sea." Disney's betting big on Asia. CEO Bob Iger said Disney Adventure, the company's largest ship to date, is a real chance to expand into the Southeast Asian market. During Disney's Q3 earnings call, he described Disney Adventure as a floating ambassador for the company's intellectual property. "This will give us an opportunity to basically sell, or float, the Disney brand in all of its glory into a region that we think has huge Disney brand affinity," Iger said during Disney's Q3 earnings call. Disney Cruise Line has become an increasingly integral to the company's experiences division. It earned $347.3 million in profits last year, a notable step up from the $180.5 million earned in 2023. Disney Adventure is the seventh ship in Disney Cruise Line's fleet after Disney Wish set sail in 2022 and Disney Treasure in 2024. It can house an estimated 2,500 crew members and 6,700 passengers. Passengers on Disney Adventure will spend three to four nights immersed in their favorite Pixar, Marvel, and Disney stories. Disney Adventure, which sets sail on December 15, is dedicated to sea days. Here's a look at Disney Adventure. Wayfinder Bay is one of seven themed areas on Disney Adventure. Disney went all in when designing its first cruise ship with a homeport in Asia. Disney Adventure houses seven themed areas: Disney Imagination Garden, Town Square, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, Disney Discovery Reef, Marvel Landing, and Wayfinder Bay. Wayfinder Bay is an outdoor space inspired by Disney's "Moana" that features a bar and wading pool. The pool area doubles as a performance venue where guests can watch live shows like "Moana: Call of the Sea." Take a splash in Disney Discovery Reef. Disney Discovery Reef, a themed area in the back of the ship, draws from films like "The Little Mermaid" and "Finding Nemo" to explore the company's underwater stories. This area features numerous shopping and food options for guests, including Palo Café, a coffee bar inspired by the coastal town in Pixar's "Luca." Marvel fans can also find Cosmic Kebabs, a restaurant serving pitas and kebabs inspired by Marvel's "Ms. Marvel." The Avengers are on display at Marvel Landing. Disney Adventure is bringing Marvel superheroes to the sea. Marvel Landing is on the ship's upper deck, where three attractions are available to guests: Groot Galaxy Spin, Pym Quantum Racers, and Ironcycle Test Run. Ironcycle Test Run is Disney's first-ever cruise ship roller coaster. It's also the "longest roller coaster at sea" at over 820 feet long, according to the company. Woody and the "Toy Story" gang hang out on the upper deck. Fans of Disney's "Toy Story" franchise will feel right at home on Disney Adventure. Toy Story Place is a water wonderland for families with several options, including Sunnyside Family Pool, the Flying Saucer Splash Zone, and whirlpools. The area also welcomes passengers to zoom down Woody and Jessie's Wild Slides. San Francisco meets Tokyo in an area inspired by "Big Hero 6." Disney Adventure will feature an area that combines the "vibrant energy" of Tokyo with the "laid-back charm of San Francisco" in a nod to "Big Hero 6." Passengers can visit San Fransokyo Street to catch a film at Baymax Cinemas or participate in an immersive training simulator at the Big Hero Arcade. They can also stop by Duffy and Friends Shop and enter the Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest, which asks passengers to use clues to find lost items and potentially win a prize. Disney Adventure has multiple dining options for passengers. The cruise ship has two entertainment restaurants, including Hollywood Spotlight Club, where passengers can dine while interacting with Disney characters like Daisy Duck and Mickey Mouse. Other options include the Enchanted Summer Restaurant, inspired by Disney's Tangled and Frozen films, and Pixar Market Restaurant, which pays homage to the studios' films. Mowgli's Eatery, Stitch's 'Ohana Grill, Bewitching Boba and Brews, and Mike & Sulley's — Flavors of Asia are also places to try. Disney Adventure has venues geared for adults. Although Disney Adventure offers family fun, specific venues were made for the 18+ crowd. Palo Trattoria is an adults-only Italian restaurant between Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay. Inspired by the "Peter Pan" villain Captain Hook, Buccaneer Bar is a lounge where adults can unwind and relax. Watch a production or two at the Walt Disney Theatre. The Walt Disney Theatre will put on two productions for passengers on Disney Adventure. "Remember" is a musical starring the robots from Disney-Pixar's "Wall-E" and other characters. "Disney Seas the Adventure" is a musical featuring songs and characters from Disney's catalog. The theatre is in Town Square, which is inspired by Disney's vast collection of princesses and fairy tales. Sweat it out with Baymax in the Disney Imagination Garden. The Disney Imagination Garden, another themed area, features a stage with three deck screens. Among the interactive shows appearing on that stage is the Baymax Super Exercise Expo, a musical exercise show inspired by "Big Hero 6." Passengers can also watch shows like Captain Jack Sparrow & the Siren Queen and Mickey's Color Spin Dance Party. After a long day, get some sleep in one of Disney Adventure's staterooms. Disney said most staterooms include a split-bathroom concept, elevated bed frames, and a menu highlighting essentials for families with small children. "Each stateroom will feature thoughtful amenities, family-friendly conveniences and special Disney touches," the company said in a blog post. Passengers looking for a particularly elegant trip can take advantage of the concierge experience, which offers exclusive perks like priority boarding.

Styx's Chuck Panozzo asks $1.75M for his Florida home
Come 'sell' away with Styx co-founder and bassist Charles 'Chuck' Panozzo, 76, who is listing his magical oasis near Fort Lauderdale, Florida for $1.75 million. The mid-century sanctuary — think Southeast Asia meets South Florida — is at 2020 NE 3rd Terrace in Wilton Manors, which is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale and known as a buzzy destination for the LGBT+ community. Panozzo, who is gay and has been open about living with HIV, bought the property for $305,000 in 2007. The '70s rock band, known for hit songs like 'Come Sail Away' and 'Renegade,' is currently on tour. Panozzo co-founded the band with his fraternal twin brother, drummer John Panozzo, who died in 1996, and singer/keyboardist Dennis DeYoung. 11 Panozzo is listing the home for sale, but that doesn't mean he's going far. Getty Images 11 The property is a genuine oasis. Lifestyle Drone 11 The outdoor spaces are equal parts relaxing and delightful. Lifestyle Drone 11 The vibes are Southeast Asian. Lifestyle Drone 11 The pool is the perfect splashy escape. Lifestyle Drone 11 Space for outdoor dining. Lifestyle Drone 11 A view of the grounds. Lifestyle Drone The two-bedroom, three-bath home was built in 1952 and sits on just under a quarter of an acre. At 1,608 square feet, it features two bedrooms, a home office/convertible bedroom — plus a landscaped garden and a pool. And as an added bonus, it comes furnished. 'This house is special to me because of the magic it has,' Panozzo told Gimme Shelter by email. 'When I open the door and cross the koi pond and look around, I know I am safe and at home. It was a blank canvas on the perfect lot in the neighborhood, so I sold my Miami condo and I moved here. Every area became an environment that you can explore depending on your mood — whether I need to relax, reflect or turn up the volume after touring,' he wrote. The home, 'by the energy of Wilton Drive,' was designed as a 'personal sanctuary.' Design details include wood finishes, and an indoor/outdoor flow. The landscaped backyard also boasts fountains and coral-lined walkways, along with teak sculptures, bonsai and Ashoka trees, and animal-shaped hedges. Most of the sculptures and art are included in the sale, said listing brokers Juan Zapata and Susan Rindley of ONE Sotheby's International Realty. Panozzo loves the property but, he told Gimme, it's time for him to return to high-rise living. 11 The perks continue inside, where there's enough space for a music room. Lifestyle Drone 11 Touches include beamed ceilings. Lifestyle Drone 11 The kitchen. Lifestyle Drone 11 A view of the layout. Lifestyle Drone 'I am moving because after living in high-rises in Chicago and Miami, I realize that it's best for me to return to the sky,' Panozzo said. 'I still actively tour with my band and while I have lived here for [more than] 15 years and made my home into my creative space, I am ready for a new challenge and a downtown balcony with a view.' Panozzo will be staying in Fort Lauderdale. He is planning to move to a new luxury building in the downtown area. Fort Lauderdale, Panozzo said, 'has this beautiful mix of natural beauty and cultural energy. There's great food, a growing arts and tech scene, and a rhythm to the city that feels both grounded and forward-thinking.' 'As someone who came up during a time when rock was pushing every boundary, I feel that same sense of possibility here now,' he added.
