Chappell Roan Did the Viral ‘Apple' Dance During Charli xcx's Primavera Sound Set: ‘Love You B–ch!'
Charli xcx had a very special guest for her Primavera Sound set in Barcelona at the Parc del Fòrum on Thursday night (June 5). On opening night of the festival, Chappell Roan shocked the crowd when she showed up to expertly do the viral 'Apple' dance during Charli's set (watch the moment below).
Chappell, wearing a grey skirt and black top covered by a cut-up sweatshirt, slapped on a pair of oversized bug-eye glasses as she joyously bounced along to the song from Charli'x Brat album along with a handful of other fans from what looked like a balcony. Roan lip synched along to the lyrics 'I think the apple's rotten right to the core/ From all the things passed down/ From all the apples coming before' while doing the dance's signature hand jive.

The footage was shared on the big screens flanking the stage, which made the crowd go wild. Roan appeared to be loving it and Charli also seemed elated by the A-list pop in, shouting, 'Make some f–king noise right now! Chappell I f–kin' love you b–ch!' as Roan shook her butt for the camera. Roan will get her chance on stage at Primavera when she headlines on Saturday night (June 7).
The special moment came 20 songs into Charli's 31-song setlist as part of a tradition during the singer's Brat-era shows when the camera finds someone in the crowd to do the dance. Roan isn't the only fellow star to take on the challenge, either. To date, everyone from BLACKPINK's ROSE to Clairo, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl and daughter Harper, Stephen Colbert, Ashley Tisdale, Cara Delevingne, Kerry Washington, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos, Joe Jonas, Jessica Alba and many more have taken a swing at the choreo created by TikToker Kelley Heyer.
In addition to Roan, Saturday night's Primavera Sound lineup also features Haim, Beach House, Stereolab, Sabrina Carpenter, Wet Leg and TV on the Radio, among others.

Playboi Carti Nearly Hits No. 1 Following 67,000% Sales Surge
Playboi Carti's Music returns to Billboard's Top Album Sales chart at No. 2 following its CD ... More release, marking his highest-ever position on that tally. INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 16: Rapper Playboi Carti debuts his new album "I Am Music" onstage during the Rolling Loud Festival at Hollywood Park Grounds on March 16, 2025 in Inglewood, California. (Photo by) When Playboi Carti released his new album Music earlier this spring, it was originally only available via streaming platforms and digital download storefronts like iTunes and Amazon. That's not uncommon for projects that shift release dates, as sometimes, even the biggest names in pop and hip-hop can change plans at the last minute and decide to drop a full-length with just a few days' notice. That typically means physical copies will arrive later. Music became available on CD more than two months after it hit streaming sites, and a vinyl edition is slated to arrive later in June. The release of the hugely successful title on CD helps push it back onto a number of rankings, and it nearly earns the rapper his first champion on one Billboard tally. Music reappears on this week's Top Album Sales chart, the ranking of the bestselling EPs and full-lengths in the United States. It breaks back onto the list and settles in the runner-up spot, which marks a new career high point for Carti on this roster. The only project preventing him from securing his first career No. 1 is I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen. That set easily conquered the tally last time around and refuses to budge. The country project may lead the charge on the Top Album Sales chart for several more frames. While it didn't get to dominate the sales-only roster, Music did bring Carti back to the summit on the Billboard 200. Before its return, Music already stood as Carti's loftiest winner on the Top Album Sales chart. The set opened at No. 3 back in late March, coming in behind Hot by Le Sserafim and Mayhem by Lady Gaga, which dipped to the runner-up space in its second frame on the tally. When Music debuted, it beat the No. 5 high point that Whole Lotta Red reached in June 2021. Music experienced a massive sales spike thanks to its CD release. The week before it became available on a physical format, the title sold just under 100 copies. The following frame, it shipped 17,500 CDs and digital downloads (per Luminate) — a growth of more than 67,000% in just a few days.

AC/DC's Electrifying Single Is A Top 10 Hit Again On Every U.S. Chart
AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' hits 520 weeks on Billboard's Rock Digital Song Sales chart and scores top ... More 10 spots across three U.S. rankings this week. Brian Johnson and Angus Young, both of the group AC/DC, film the 'Thunderstruck' music video, Brixton Academy, London, 8/17/1990. (Photo by) 'Thunderstruck' is a hit for the ages — the type of smash most musical acts can only dream of. It wasn't just a massive success when it first arrived, but it has also stood the test of time. 35 years into its lifetime, the electrifying cut continues to keep AC/DC on charts around the world. This week, the song ranks as a powerful bestseller on several Billboard tallies. 'Thunderstruck' currently appears on three U.S.-based rankings, and amazingly, even after three and a half decades of success, the tune secures a top 10 position on all of them. The single performs best on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, where it nearly rules once again, shooting from No. 5 to No. 2. It also becomes a top 10 bestseller once more on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, returning to the uppermost tier as it thunders from No. 15 to No. 9. The single typically performs best in terms of pure purchases, but Americans also love streaming 'Thunderstruck' on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. This time around, the tune climbs five spaces to No. 4 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking. 'Thunderstruck' has already ruled both the Hard Rock Streaming Songs and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. It has so far peaked in the runner-up space on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally and has spent hundreds of frames on each list. This week, the cut reaches a major milestone, hitting 520 frames on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart — a full decade's worth of charting. AC/DC also manages one worldwide smash at the moment, and again, it's 'Thunderstruck.' This week, the track bolts nearly 30 spaces north on the Billboard Global 200, landing at No. 155 in its ninety-fifth turn on the list.

Billie Eilish's Mid-Career Album Becomes A Bestseller Again
Billie Eilish has only released three full-length albums during her career, yet what she has accomplished with that trio of projects is incredible. In just over half a decade, and with only a few dozen tunes, she has not only proved herself to be one of the most successful and creative musicians of her generation, but also one of the most exciting artists of all time. It's not uncommon for Eilish's three albums to chart simultaneously on various Billboard rankings. The trio are almost always found on tallies like the Billboard 200 and rock- and alternative-specific lists. One of those three albums is experiencing something of a comeback this week, as it returns to multiple tallies at once, as Americans continue to buy the set years after it originally became a smash success. After proving herself with her debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Eilish showed she was no one-era wonder with her sophomore full-length, Happier Than Ever. That set is a bestseller again in America as it reenters both the Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums charts. This week, it returns to the all-encompassing list of the top-selling albums in the country at No. 49, in second-to-last place. It also makes a comeback on the vinyl-only tally, landing at No. 25, the lowest possible position on that ranking. A healthy sales spike is responsible for Happier Than Ever's resurgence. According to Luminate, from one tracking period to the next, sales of the project increased by nearly 10%, rising from just over 2,000 to more than 2,200. That's quite an accomplishment for a years-old release that Eilish herself has long since stopped promoting. While Happier Than Ever reappears on two tallies, it is largely otherwise declining this frame in the U.S., as it slips on the Billboard 200 and Top Rock & Alternative Albums rankings. It does, however, manage to climb one spot on the Top Alternative Albums list, reversing course and stepping up to No. 18. Both When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Eilish's most recent project, Hit Me Hard and Soft, can be found on at least three Billboard rankings apiece. While her debut set is primarily declining — but not by much — Hit Me Hard and Soft lifts everywhere, even returning to No. 1 on two of the half-dozen rankings it can currently be found on.
