Over the course of her time as the United Kingdom's queen consort during King Charles III's reign, Queen Camilla consistently gravitates toward the designs of Fiona Clare and Anna Valentine. The two London-based designers' pieces regularly supply Queen Camilla with patterned midi dresses in roughly the same column silhouette with a subtle cinched waist for daytime occasions, receptions and more.
Even for more formal events, Queen Camilla will often wear dresses from the aforementioned designers. While hosting a banquet alongside King Charles III at Windsor Castle in England on Tuesday for French President Emmanuel Macron and France's First Lady Brigitte Macron, Queen Camilla wore a white gown with embroidery on the hemline and cuffs by Fiona Clare.
The Fiona Clare design was part of a sartorial statement of unity. Kate Middleton, who also attended alongside husband Prince William, wore a bespoke red dress by Sarah Burton of Givenchy, while Brigitte Macron styled a custom royal blue dress by Louis Vuitton. The colorscape evoked the French flag and the flag of the United Kingdom.
