Feyenoord announce interim manager following Brian Priske departure
Former Feyenoord player Bosschaart, who previously worked as an assistant coach at SC Cambuur and FC Dordrecht for several years, is coming over from the club's Academy, where he was in charge of the U21s. His assistant Arnold Scholten is also joining him in the senior side's dugout.
Together with John de Wolf and Etienne Reijnen, Bosschaart will temporarily form the staff of Feyenoord's first team. Director Dennis te Kloese said of the interim boss:
'We are pleased that Pascal has immediately agreed to step in temporarily. In the meantime, I have been able to speak to many players, staff members and other closely involved people and everyone realises that we still have a lot to fight for.'
Our interim head coach: Pascal Bosschaart Wishing him the best of luck 🤝

Hannah Seabert makes five saves in Angel City's scoreless draw with Utah
The last place Utah Royals were held scoreless at home by 11th-place Angel City on Friday night. The game was a meeting between the NWSL's two least in-form teams. The Royals are winless in their last 11 and Angel City has not won in their last eight. The closest the visitors came to scoring was when Angel City midfielder Kennedy Fuller clipped the top of the crossbar from a long-range shot in the 54th minute. The Royals outshot Angel City 14-10 and had more shots on goal, 5-2. Utah's two best chances came from set pieces in the first half. Royals forward Mina Tanaka failed to score with a header from six yards out on both occasions. Angel City starting goalkeeper Angelina Anderson didn't play because of a lower leg injury. Danish goalkeeper Hannah Seabert made her NWSL debut in her place. She recorded five saves and a clean sheet. The tie keeps the Royals (1-11-4) in last place in the NWSL, now one point behind the Chicago Stars in 13th. Angel City (4-7-5) is still winless under Alex Straus, tying three and losing three since he took over as head coach in June.

Hamza Igamane a Rennes transfer 'priority' as two Rangers striker deals vetoed amid Turgeman talks
Stade Rennes have reportedly made Rangers striker Hamza Igamane a signing priority as they prepare for life without Arnaud Kalimuendo. Record Sport understands that Feyenoord are considering shattering their own transfer record by launching a big money move for the striker - while Lille have kept tables on the Morocco international throughout the summer. L'Equipe report that striker Kalimuendo has rejected a move to Leeds United - but the club remain in talks for a £20million sale to either Newcastle United or Brentford. READ MORE: Rangers working on three transfer exits as Jack Butland 'interest' sparks 49ers warning READ MORE: Nobel Mendy to Rangers transfer latest as two fresh details emerge Boss Habib Beye conceded earlier this week: "I have to anticipate certain things. If things change, we have to be able to see other solutions. "For now, Arnaud is a Stade Rennes player, whom I consider 100 per cent committed to this club, but I have to be able to anticipate in case something happens before the Marseille match (on Friday)." While Rangers' boss Russell Martin has stated there has been no bids for Igamane and expects him to ramp up his fitness against Alloa this weekend, Jeunes Footeux report that Rennes are considering an approach for the £15million-rated 22-year-old. But the French side are far from alone in the search for Igamane's signature with Moroccan outlet Le Matin stating that Marseille, Strasbourg, and Lens are also tracking a deal from Ligue 1. Everton, West Ham and Brentford are said to be keen to take the forward to the Premier League, while Borussia Monchengladbach and Udinese are also named as interested suitors. A departure for Igamane would leave Rangers in dire need of a new frontman with Cyriel Dessers facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up a knock in the Champions League qualifier with Viktoria Plzen. Westerlo striker Matija Frigan, however, looks to be off the table. Record Sport confirmed Gers interest in the Croatian frontman earlier this summer but also noted that Martin's side are likely to be blown out of the water by offers from elsewhere. Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has stated that the striker is set to seal a move to Parma with a medical already pencilled in. Reports south of the border have also suggested that Martin has been keen to reunite with Southampton striker Cameron Archer. The England youth international - who was previously on Rangers' radar back in 2022 - only made the move to St Mary's last summer in a £15million move from Aston Villa but struggled with the club in the Premier League last season. But new boss Will Still has shown his faith in the forward - giving him his first start of the season in the EFL Cup against Northampton Town. On Archer, he said: "He needs to go back to doing what he's good at. "He needs to go back to getting in behind and being in the box because the threat of his pace and movement is going to be important for us. "It's about giving him a bit of freedom and a bit of confidence to go and do that and get into the areas where he can finish actions off. That is what we need him for." Maccabi Tel Aviv star Dor Turgeman has been on the shortlist of targets this summer. Turgeman has reportedly already made his position over an exit clear with the Scottish Premiership named as his preferred destination - but there has been little movement in recent weeks. But the Light Blues might have to move quickly to break the stalemate. One report that MLS side New England Revolution have "offered" £2.6million - which has been rejected. It is claimed talks remain ongoing between the clubs with the report suggesting there is "some distance" between the valuations - but it is expected that Turgeman will leave the Israeli champions before the window closes. Revolution head coach Caleb Porter declared last week that transfer fees will not scare off his side: 'We don't have much cap, but we do have roster openings, and we have the potential to make moves."
