7.08 Down Royal – His Majesty's Plate (Listed, 2m)
GOODIE TWO SHOES won a Listed race at Gowran Park by six lengths on her latest start three weeks ago. That was a fillies-only event, whereas she's in open company now and she steps up in trip again.
However, she's a well-bred filly from a strong yard (Joseph O'Brien) and is completely unexposed as a stayer, so there's a fair chance that she will be up to this.

2.45 Carlisle – Class 6 Handicap (5f)
It might be worth taking a chance on MILBANKE. He needs a big return to form, but he drops into Class 6 company for the first time and the booking of Daniel Tudhope, who hasn't ridden him before, is another plus.
The fitting of blinkers – another first – could also help, and although he has never won over the minimum trip, this will be a stiff test, so that's another point in his favour.
3.45 Carlisle – Class 6 Handicap (1m 3f)
WADACRE GIORGIO looks a likely improver now he is upped in trip on his handicap debut, having shown a bit of ability in maiden and novice company last year.
This Charlie Johnston-trained four-year-old is a brother to a winning stayer for the same connections and should appreciate the stamina test.

Tottenham sack manager Postecoglou
LONDON, June 6 (Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur have sacked manager Ange Postecoglou, the club said on Friday, despite the Australian guiding the club to their first major trophy in 17 years with victory in the Europa League final last month. Postecoglou will leave two years to the day after his appointment. Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League last season, fuelling pressure on the 59-year-old in his second year at the helm.

UK visa issues rule Hosein out of West Indies' T20 opener in England
June 6 (Reuters) - West Indies' left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein has been ruled out of the opening match of their three-match Twenty20 series against England after he and fellow Trinidadian Jyd Goolie were unable to meet visa requirements. The first T20 match takes place at the Riverside Ground in Durham on Friday and the players could potentially miss the entire series. West Indies Cricket (CWI) said on Friday that the updated UK visa entry requirements for Trinidad and Tobago citizens, which came into effect on April 23 and May 12 required both players to submit visa applications and attend mandatory in-person appointments. CWI director Miles Bascombe explained that Hosein, who was selected for both the England and Ireland legs of the tour, could not fulfil the new visa requirements in time as he was playing in the Pakistan Super League, which wrapped up late due to the India-Pakistan conflict last month. Goolie, who was a late addition to the squad, "was unable to secure the required visa waiver, as the transition period for Trinidad and Tobago residents had already expired." "These processes are ultimately governed by UK immigration authorities and remain outside of CWI's control," the board said. "CWI remains optimistic that the matter will be resolved in the coming days, allowing Hosein to join the squad for the remaining matches."

Tranmere sign Northampton defender Brough
Tranmere Rovers have signed Northampton Town defender Patrick Brough on a two-year 29-year-old joins the League Two club having made 46 appearances in two seasons with the Cobblers, where his contract was due to end later this Andy Crosby told the club website, external: "When I reviewed our performance from the end of the 2024-25 season, I felt we needed to add certain qualities to our group."We were lacking in physical power, aerial ability and athleticism.
