Roma are said to be monitoring several players in Lyon's squad following the French club's disastrous relegation to Ligue 2.
Giallorossi sporting director Frederic Massara is familiar with Lyon's roster and has began monitoring some of their players.

In addition to Georges Mikautadze, Roma have reportedly set their sights on Malick Fofana.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Belgian winger is a player that Massara is very keen on.
Having scored 6 goals and 11 assists this season, Lyon rate him for no less than 30 million.
However, in case of a discount due to Lyon's recent relegation, Fofana could represent a valuable investment for the present and future of the club.

IOC's Coventry pauses 2036 Olympics hosting contest in 1st big decision of her presidency

GENEVA — India's push toward winning the 2036 Olympics hosting contest seemed to stall a little on Thursday in the first big decision of Kirsty Coventry's IOC presidency. Coventry paused the fast tracking of a preferred bidder — a signature policy of her predecessor and mentor Thomas Bach — in a concession to International Olympic Committee members who have wanted more say in decisions under new leadership.
