GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Local food trucks and vendors are already tapping into the draft week excitement through Green Bay's Draft Food Truck Rally.
Multiple businesses are set up along South Broadway, serving a mix of soul food, tacos, homemade crafts, and hats. Most owners expect to remain at that location through Saturday.
Draft City Music Fest will kick off NFL Draft week celebrations in Green Bay
'We produced the event so that people of color and diverse entrepreneurs can have a space where they can have a slightly cheaper rate to get into, so it can be more feasible to obtain,' said Kimyatta Ratliff, president and CEO of the Colorbold Business Association.
Some of the vendors will continue serving into the evening, with many open until 9 p.m.

Haason Reddick Gives Bizarre Buccaneers' OTA Update

Haason Reddick Gives Bizarre Buccaneers' OTA Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The month of May is usually a time for organizations around the league to hit the practice field for offseason workouts. It's usually a good time for disgruntled players to also try and make headway on new deals with their team. Advertisement The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a unique situation in regards to that. They don't really have any player in line for major contract extensions, yet have a very clear absence from OTAs that is turning heads. Haason Reddick, the former All-Pro with the Philadelphia Eagles, is on his third team in as many years. He signed a free agent deal with the Buccaneers for over $14 million - a stark decrease from the amount he has been looking for over the last few years. Even still, Reddick missed most of the 2024 season while holding out for a new contract with the New York Jets. It would make sense for him to show up and be dominant with his new team in Tampa Bay. That isn't what is happening, though. Reddick has remained away from the Buccaneers organization during voluntary workouts. Advertisement Bordering on the even further bizarre, Reddick posted a story on his Instagram of him working out titled "Great work day". Here's a question - why exactly isn't Reddick working out with his new team? Tampa Bay runs a different scheme than the Jets and Eagles do. Why does Reddick think he'll be able to pick that up easily? The reality is that Reddick has become a major enigma in NFL circles. The more he stays away from the team during the voluntary workout phase, the weirder this whole situation looks. Steelers' Pro Bowler trade buzz shot down by insider Ian Rapoport

Steelers trade buzz burns bright — but flames out just as fast. Insider Adam Schefter broke the news that the Dolphins and Steelers engaged in trade talks regarding Miami's Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith — and while it was surprising, insider Ian Rapoport believes it's unlikely anything more will come of it. Advertisement In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rapoport was asked how real the trade news really was — and here's what he had to say: 'I think Jonnu Smith wants to make money,' Rapoport said. 'He is actually a part of what the Dolphins want to do. It feels to me that he wants more money and would like to stay [with the Dolphins]. I know he wants a lot — we'll see what [the Dolphins] end up doing.' Hopefully nothing more comes out of the trade speculation, as Steelers TEs Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington are underrated pieces of Pittsburgh's offense — and paying the soon-to-be 30-year-old Smith a massive extension makes zero sense for the Steel City brand of football. Report: Steelers back to pursuing Dolphins Pro Bowl TE

The Steelers-Dolphins trade rollercoaster continues — as insider Adam Schefter has provided a surprising update regarding Miami's Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith. Earlier in the day, Schefter reported that the Steelers were unlikely to pursue a trade for Smith — but that stance has since changed, as the well-respected insider presented the following update on the situation: Advertisement "Back in it: the Steelers renewed conversations today with Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith, who is seeking a new contract. The trade between the Steelers and Dolphins is still alive, per source." Acquiring Smith is beginning to emulate that of the Steelers' pursuit of Brandon Aiyuk — which featured new and conflicting updates on a daily basis. If the Steelers pull off the blockbuster trade for Smith, it remains to be seen how his inclusion will impact TEs Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington's usage on offense.
