Notre Dame's Jadarian Price and Malachi Fields visit local children
Notre Dame football players Jadarian Price and Malachi Fields surprised local children at a multi-sport camp at the Mishawaka Fieldhouse in Mishawaka, Indiana on Thursday.The players spent time with the kids playing various sports, including volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Price, a running back, and Fields, a transfer wide receiver, helped the kids stay active inside as they stayed dry from the rain. They also helped hand out awards, took photos with the kids and took the time to sign the kids' camp shirts.
"It's always nice to be able to come out here and support kids in the community," Price said. "We've been doing things like this for the past three, four years. . . it's a very exciting time."
Notre Dame opens the 2025 college football season at Miami on Sunday, August 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium (ABC). It will mark the 28th meeting between the two programs, with the Fighting Irish owning a record of 18-8-1 in the all-time series against the Hurricanes.

The edge rusher and linebacker confirmed that their name, image and likeness will be included in the game, marking another milestone in their young careers. EA Sports brought back the popular college football franchise last year to widespread excitement from fans and players alike, eager to jump back into the game. New to this year's addition, all 136 Football Bowl Subdivision schools will be paid by EA Sports based on the frequency with which gamers play with their respective team. Real-life coaches are also being added to the game this year. Merritt and Walker are both Georgia natives, with Merritt being a blue-chip prospect once committed to Ohio State. Merritt appears to have significant potential with the Buffs, who lost several key pieces to their defensive line, most notably star defensive end BJ Green. Walker was a three-star prospect who has been with the Buffs for most of the offseason, but he projects as a likely depth piece entering his freshman season. Texas A&M Basketball's all-time leading scorer has signed with the Milwaukee Bucks
Even though Texas A&M's basketball program is under new management with head coach Bucky McMillan now running things, the Aggies' all-time leading scorer, point guard Wade Taylor IV, will reportedly sign with the Milwaukee Bucks after not being selected in the 2025 NBA Draft, and will participate in the summer league to begin his professional career. The fact that Taylor was not selected in the first or second round is not surprising due to his inconsistency as a shooter during his senior season, while his 6'0" frame isn't ideal if he isn't draining shots at a high rate. Still, it was never in doubt that the Dallas, Texas native would earn himself a shot in the summer league to improve as a shooter and show why he finished his Aggie career as one of the greatest players in program history. During his final collegiate season, Taylor led the Aggies with 15.7 points per game and 4.3 rebounds, but shot just 35.4% from the field and barely 31% from beyond the arc. If Taylor had shot at least 40% or better in both areas, he could have been selected in the second round based on his leadership, speed, and defensive skill set. With the Bucks' summer league team, Taylor will need to emulate the shooting performance of current Texas A&M transfer forward Mackenzie Mgbako during his NBA Combine scrimmages to increase his chances of making a G-League roster and fully developing before potentially making an NBA roster in the near future. This summer, Taylor took pre-draft visits with the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the New Jersey Nets. Taylor ended his Texas A&M career with 2,058 points, which will not be surpassed for a long time.
