Briefing on UAE pavilion highlights During the visit, Sheikh Ammar received a comprehensive overview of the UAE Pavilion's content, which tells the nation's story—highlighting its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and pioneering advancements in fields such as space exploration, healthcare, and sustainable technologies. A standout feature is a dramatic installation of 90 palm rachis columns, some reaching up to 16 metres in height. He noted the remarkable visitor turnout—over 250,000 visitors in just two weeks—as evidence of the UAE Pavilion's global appeal and the resonance of its story. UAE-Japan relations He highlighted the longstanding relationship between the UAE and Japan, which spans more than 50 years of collaboration in energy, trade, education, culture, space, and technology. He noted that the Expo strengthens this strategic partnership and reflects the UAE's consistent participation in major international events, building bridges across cultures. Ajman CP meets Emirati students studying in China
Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, has met Emirati students studying in China, during his visit to Chongqing city. Also attending were Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development; Sheikh Rashid Bin Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Vice President of Ajman Club; Hussain Bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to the People's Republic of China; and senior officials from Ajman government. Sheikh Ammar welcomed the students, emphasising his keenness to check on their well-being and academic progress. He expressed pride in their ambition and achievements, stressing the leadership's commitment to supporting them. He also acknowledged the continuous support provided by the UAE's diplomatic missions in China. During the meeting, Sheikh Ammar discussed with Yuan Jiajun and senior officials of the city government ways to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, including advanced technology, industry, and renewable energy, in addition to exploring investment and trade opportunities between Ajman and Chongqing. Sheikh Ammar extended an invitation to Yuan Jiajun and Chongqing government leaders to visit Ajman, aiming to deepen collaborative relations and solidify ties between the two sides. Sheikh Ammar said, 'Our vision is centered on promoting innovation, utilising advanced technologies across various fields, and activating international cooperation to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development. In Ajman, we believe that strengthening partnerships with major Chinese cities contributes to driving growth and prosperity for both parties.' He added, 'In 2024, the Emirate of Ajman launched the 'Ajman Vision 2030' out of our belief in the importance of anticipating the future, creating a competitive business environment, and fostering an investment climate that drives economic growth. On Friday, Sheikh Ammar attended the launch of the China (Chongqing) – UAE Conference on Promotion of Trade and Investment.
