Aussie diver captures the terrifying moment a hungry shark dragged her 10metres underwater
A diver has captured the spine-tingling moment she was encircled and then dragged 10metres underwater by a large tiger shark on her GoPro camera.
Jasmine Warneford and Sam Anderson were targeted by the shark during a dive off Kalbarri, 575km north of Perth, on Tuesday.
The pair had been spearfishing in shallow water for about five hours when they were approached by the shark.
The shark first ate one of the fish they had caught before it turned to Mr Anderson and tried to bite him, who was able to dodge the advance.
To their relief, the shark appeared to lose interest and began swimming away.
But, just seconds later it began pulling at another fish on the end of a float line tied around Ms Warneford's waist.
As the shark swam off with its meal, Ms Warneford was dragged some 10metres through the water behind it.
'The float line was connected around my waist as the shark was pulling away the fish... it pulled really hard around my waist, my whole body flipped around and it was kind of dragging me backwards, so I kind of had to let myself go and relax,' Warneford told PerthNow.

Ms Warneford's footage showed her being dragged through the water as Mr Anderson desperately swam after her.
'The trust we had for each other during that moment was incredible considering we barely know each other... it's definitely bonded us for life,' Ms Warneford said.
She eventually managed to cut the float line and free herself from the shark.
Ms Warneford believed the only reason she was able to escape the situation was due to her remaining calm.
'It was a really incredible experience. The shark definitely just wanted the fish, it didn't want us, it only wanted Sam for the fact he was poking it with his gun to get it away from the fish,' she said.
Although the shark had pillaged all the fish they had caught, the pair were still able to spear another two and enjoyed a seafood dinner.
